It’s easy to see this was a script that’s been passed around. I’m sure it was originally written with a much deeper story, but what we’re left with is a pretty shallow piece that’s all flash. There’s no real development at all despite introducing a few characters that are interesting enough and worthy of some backstory.
I’m glad I didn’t see it on the big screen.
I love the Duplass brothers. The Puffy Chair is a decent, underrated independent comedy … a solid 4/5 considering budget.
This was an interesting look at a local Unites States election for several sheriff’s positions around the country. It was made by an Irish film maker, so the largely outsider / unbiased approach was refreshing.
If you’re a documentary fan, this is well worth a watch.
This is a great Doc, for any real fans of Stand Up Comedy. You don’t need to enjoy every comics work to respect what this Doc is about. Also its created and Produced by Jessica Kirson whos one of the best Stand Ups on the go today. While I completely agree with the Previous comment about Schumer, She’s not in this doing any interview or what not its just a quick clip with her in it. So no need to let that ruin this for you. Great watch.

Is “WandaVision” THAT bad? I have yet to watch it and I have tried to remain Spoiler-free from all the reviews and “Fan Theories” about the series that I’ve seen online.
No. It’s not bad at all… I’ll admit that the beginning is a very slow burn. I wasn’t sure how I felt about it until the third or fourth episode, but once it grabs you it grabs you. I’ll also give it to nay-sayers that it shouldn’t take that long for a TV show to grab you, but by the end of the run, it was well worth sticking with it.

Great movie but a classic case of the film makers not knowing how to wrap it up well. Still… 4/5, definitely worth a watch.

It just sort of dawned on me that Gardell’s last show was Mike & Molly and it made me laugh a little.
Just finished the final episode. Zoe saying to Jackie, as she fades away, ‘you’re good,’ as a throw-back to Jackie’s line in episode one, ‘make me good, lord, but not yet’ kind of removes the ambiguity of the ending for me. That as well as understanding what snorting three monster lines of heroin will do to a person … regardless of their Oxy habit.
It took me a long time to get around to Nurse Jackie but I’m sincerely glad I did.

This show is one of the worst supposed survivalist shows around. Talk about your impracticable bunch of ill-prepared wanna-be’s. Give it a miss or have a laugh. They are so scripted and pre-screened to be weird it’s only funny in a “how stupid is this target audience supposed to be anyways?” kinda way. -10/5
I agree. If you’re interested in this sort of material, there are several seasons of ALONE you could catch up on … there’s Survivorman … there are even YouTube channels that feature better content.
I could tell after twenty minutes in to the first episode that this was trash.
This was phenomenal. A little long, but any shorter and you lose sight of what they’re trying to portray. How things were improving slightly until a very unnecessary tragic accident and the chain of events that followed. Very much worth a watch. If you enjoyed this, I strongly recommend Generation Kill. It’s a mini-series that aired on HBO … based on a book written for by Rolling Stone journalist Evan Wright, adapted for screen by David Simon / Ed Burns (THE WIRE) and the author of the source material, Evan Wright. I’ve watched the entire series at least five times.
She’s horribly unfunny … a joke thief … a bad comic and actress.
At best, this belongs on Youtube and that’s still higher praise than it deserves.

Sons of Anarchy on horses…. absolutely hooked on this show
This comment got me to finally give it a shot. Didn’t realize it was from the writer of Sicario and Hell or High Water (excellent film) … and now I’m four episodes deep at nearly 5AM and about to start episode five.
I’d even argue that SoA on horses is even selling it short. This is beautifully shot with complex story lines that I can already tell are going to be woven together beautifully. The first episode is a little clunky but it finds its footing quickly.

I remember watching this play out … I was twelve or thirteen, lived in upstate South Carolina. There were stories of ‘Rudolph sightings’ every other week until they pulled him out of a dumpster in ‘03.
I dont care who down voted this, I usually love dark Comedy but this is Worth the watch and if you have a family, Could be quite relate able. bahaha or the opposite,
Bert is definitely an acquired taste … though, at a point he becomes that guy in the group who may be the dumbass, but he’s your dumbass. His new special is a genuine improvement, you can clearly see he’s been working hard.
