They leave together, hoping to build a new life, but Luke is unable to get a job and becomes increasingly depressed. Laurette tells Luke that she can no longer stand by and watch him destroy himself and goes out for a night on the town alone. Upon her return, Luke threatens to shoot Laurette, she tells him to go ahead and kill her; Luke pulls the trigger, killing Laurette. Luke somehow manages to get Laurette's body out of the house and to a remote location on his family's property. After placing Laurette's body on top of gathered branches and twigs, he lights it all on fire and watches Laurette's body burn. He momentarily considers killing himself, but is unable to do so and apologizes to Laurette for not being strong enough to do so. Later that night, Luke, sitting in his pickup, is surrounded by law enforcement and arrested for murder.

Magilla Gorilla was a gorilla for sale in Melvin Peebles' pet shop. Being a drain on finances, Magilla's price was marked down considerably, but he was invariably only purchased for a short time. The customers always ended up returning Magilla, forcing Peebles to refund their money.

Muppets Tonight was a short lived new version of the classic The Muppet Show, that hoped to appeal to a new generation. This series continued with several traditions that the original series did. Each episode revolved around a celebrity guest and there were new Muppet skits throughout the show. New Muppets are introduced throughout the series who would later appear in the newer Muppet films. The show itself gains a new host as Kermit the Frog passes the torch to a new Muppet named Clifford who hosts the show. In February 2004, Disney Enterprises bought two major Jim Henson properties: the Muppets and Bear in the Big Blue House. "Muppets Tonight!" premiered its first 10 episodes on ABC. The remaining episodes aired on the Disney Channel until the show's cancellation.

Stitch & Ai follows the events of Leroy & Stitch. Stitch is kidnapped by space criminals who want to use him to have their own destructive genetic experiment. However, he escapes to China's Huangshan mountains, where he befriends Ai, a spirited local girl who is at risk of being separated from her older sister Jiejie. Stitch becomes Ai's "dog", and the two help each other in dealing with the other's problems; Ai helps Stitch deal with the space criminals, while he helps her stay in the mountains with her family.

Mr. Bogus is a gremlin from the Bogus dimension. He has the ability to walk through mirrors, and is only a few inches tall. While he doesn't mean to cause trouble, his confusion over how our world works usually causes him problems.

Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, also known as The All-New Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo is the fourth incarnation of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo Saturday morning cartoons. This show was one of the few that contained Fred, Daphne, and Velma, with Scrappy.
