A rather frozen Jerry rolls up to a cheese shop guarded by Tom; after he locks Tom out and thaws out, he carves himself a little Swiss village in a giant wheel of cheese.

Sniffles the mouse is in the country for a restful vacation, but the woodland creatures keep him awake and eventually frighten him into scurrying back to the city.

After a few too many close calls, Sniffles and his friends decide that the best way to keep themselves safe from the cat is to put a bell around its neck. When it comes time for someone to do the job, though, Sniffles is left holding the short straw. So off he goes with his friend the inchworm to find the cat at bell it. The cat, however, may have other plans.

Literary characters come to life late at night in a bookshop, serenading Sniffles the mouse with swing music until the Frankenstein monster intrudes.

Pvt. Snafu becomes a superhero, only for him to become the world's dumbest one because he won't study his field manuals.

Tom's in love again, and Jerry's devil conscience reminds him of times this has happened in the past (which, of course, we see, in the form of clips from earlier shorts), and how that's been nothing but trouble for Jerry.

Nobody's home, so Tom invites his alley cat friends in to look at home movies (clips from earlier cartoons where Tom gets the drop on Spike). While they're showing them, Spike sneaks in.

But in order to control them, Eli must learn Slug Fu--the ancient form of slugslinging that Junjie mastered in the Eastern Caverns. Slug Fu is the art of guiding and controlling a slug in battle--a skill that only the greatest slugslingers can master.

General Daffy, in a Napoleon hat, commands a fort. Porky sleeps too soundly, so Daffy needs to roust him, but when the Indians attack, he's the only one awake to see them. There follows a series of fight gags, including some recycled from Johnny Smith and Poker-Huntas (1938) and The Hardship of Miles Standish (1940). A cross-eyed Indian keeps shooting his own horse, until the horse takes action. A soldier counts "one little, two little..." with the Indian taking the last line. A short Indian uses a tall bow-legged one to shoot his arrows. Finally, Porky calls for more bullets; Daffy trips while carrying them and swallows them, turning himself into a machine gun. Porky uses Daffy to rout the Indians, who run into a hillside, spelling out "Yanks beat Indians 11-3."

Donald wants to listen to the World Series in his backyard, but a bee, enamored of the classical music he heard before Donald got there, has other ideas.

Spike has just washed his pup. Tom and Jerry's chase knocks him into a mud puddle. Spike makes Tom clean him up again and promise to keep him clean which of course is Jerry's opening to get Tom in trouble.

Tom is desperate for sleep after a night of revelry with his friends, but Mammy Two-Shoes demands that he stay awake to keep the mouse out of the refrigerator. Jerry, being a clever mouse, sees his opportunity to get rid of the cat.

Forest-dwelling possums, Ma and Pa O'Possum, are frustrated with their son, Junior, who is hanging from a tree by his tail, sleeping, instead of doing his chores. Pa dresses like a dog to suddenly awaken Junior and scare him, in the hope that this will teach the young possum a lesson. Even though the precocious Junior is not frightened in the least by Pa's disguise, he runs away and leads his dad on a chase through the forest.

Lina and Naga take opposing sides in a blood feud involving dragons.

Porky runs a farm; we see him plowing the fields. But it's primarily a poultry farm; as the sign says, "For sale: Miracle eggs if it's a good egg, it's a miracle." A rabbit, doing a Jack Benny impression (Jack Bunny), paints and inspects eggs. He starts to smash and reject a black egg, but it hatches into a black baby bird doing a Rochester impression. We next visit the Eddie Cackler family, (Eddie Cantor) who have been trying without success to have a son; the next five eggs hatch, and they are again all girls. A Bing Crosby lookalike comes by with a stroller full of sons, and Eddie asks for his secret; he demonstrates by crooning to a chick, who lays dozens of eggs with boys names on them. Eddie croons to his wife, but in a higher pitch, then dances out singing the theme song to other caricatures. The egg hatches, but in answer to Eddie's question, is it really a boy? "Mmmm... could be."

Private Donald Duck finally gets a chance to go up in the air, only to find he's less than enthusiastic for the real thing.

One night, Speedy Gonzales tries to save his pal Daffy Duck from sleepwalking through a construction site.

The Pink Panther decides to construct and fly a kite, and a dog promptly jumps right through it. The panther rebuilds his kite and attempts to fly it, and, as usual, the problems begin for a little, pointy-nosed man, who in this cartoon is a home-owner. Capping an increasingly destructive series of accidents, the panther's kite tracks through the little man's barbecue and catches fire. It lands on the man's house and sets it ablaze. Within seconds, the house is reduced to smoldering rubble. The man goes ballistic and flies a biplane Red Baron-style in a vengeful attempt to shoot down the Pink Panther, who is soaring through the air in his new, wing-sized kite.

Sex seems to be on the minds of the animals on a backyard fence: the alley cats following a solitary female who may be in heat and the bull and the cows painted on an advertisement. After some singing by the cloven-hoofed crowd and music from a jazz band of cats, the focus is on one particular male cat and his tough-guy rival for the affections of the one female. After she watches them fight with each other and then confront a bull dog, she may have her own solution to the rivalry.

Sir Gawain and the rest of King Arthur's court are startled by a visit from a strange green knight. The Green Knight challenges the court and Sir Gawain accepts. Sir Gawain strikes at the neck of the Green Knight who them picks up his own severed head and vows to return the strike in one year at the Green Chapel. Sir Gawain sets off to fulfill his promise. Along the way he has many adventures that eventually lead him to the Green Chapel where his fate awaits. This animated film is based on the 14th century alliterative poem

An Indian reservation is suffering from drought. At the request of the Chief, the Rainmaker and his young assistant seek a solution.

In the hope of recreating Noah's Ark, an eccentric man builds an ark and fills it with specimens of all animals - except for a pink panther, which he sets out to hunt.

The film opens with Bosko whistling in his bathtub as the shower fills it with water. The song, appropriately, is "Singin' in the Bathtub." He plucks his toes and his nose to make musical sounds. He even plays the streams of water as if they were harp strings. The bathtub gets into the act, by rising on its feet and dancing around the bathroom, waving a bath towel and throwing sheets of toilet paper into the air as if they were flower petals. Bosko drives his anthropomorphic car to the home of his girlfriend, Honey. The two go for a ride, but the way is blocked by a haughty cow. Bosko pushes her body down under her legs, which stick up like tent poles, and drives over her. All is sunny and bright for Bosko and Honey until they lose control of the car. This event leads to more calamities, including Honey getting trapped in a runaway bathtub on wheels. Only the happy pair's good luck can save the day.

Sinbad battles a band of pirates at sea and on a tropical isle. A giant bird rescues him, and he ends up back on his ship with the pirates' treasure.

Inspector Clouseau and his sidekick, Sergeant Deux-Deux, investigate an old house in the Rue Morgue section of Paris after having arrested its tenant, a mad scientist, for causing interference on neighbors' TV sets. Clouseau is convinced there is a monster loose on the premises, especially after Deux-Deux, when Clouseau wasn't looking, drank a bubbly potion from a beaker and turned into a horrible creature. Deux-Deux keeps changing back and forth, burping before each transformation, and not remembering anything he did in the interim. Finally, Clouseau realizes that Deux-Deux is the creature and flees the house, with Deux-Deux chasing after him, changing into the monster at second intervals.

Tom watches and studies films of some of his earlier encounters with Jerry, much like game films; he runs them backwards and stops them so he can study them more closely, all the while scribbling notes. Jerry pulls up a box of popcorn and watches, too. Tom notices Jerry and chases him into his hole. Tom designs a better mousetrap, but Jerry alters the plans, so it doesn't work any better than it did the first time the footage was used, in Designs on Jerry (1955).

Baby central. A flock of storks is leaving with babies. An old man at a ledger book is dealing with phone calls and letters; a request for twins from Nanook of the North sends him to the refrigerator; the stork carries them in slings marked "upper birth" and "lower birth." Another request, written in Hebrew; this baby comes back as a rough Jewish stereotype, and gets stamped kosher. He then joins the head man singing the title song, and shuffling us off to see the baby assembly line, manned by dwarves. The babies are washed in a washing machine, dried, powdered, diapered in paper towels, loaded up with milk, and sent off in a crib. They clamor for "Cantor" and one of the dwarves reveals that he was _Eddie Cantor_ in disguise, followed by another round of the title song.

A crook dressed as Superman commits a series of robberies. The real Superman must work fast to counter the bad publicity.

Bugs and Daffy are vaudevillians competing for praise from the audience. They love Bugs no matter what; just the opposite for Daffy.

Wile E. Coyote uses suction cups, a tennis net, TNT sticks on a rope, a skateboard, helium gas, and a bomb in his unsuccessful attempts to catch the Road Runner.

J.T. Gimlet's department store is closed, and the mice are going on a tour, led by the same W.C. Fields mouse as in Little Blabbermouse (1940). First, the shoe department, where we see mules, both red and green, who pop out of the box and bray at us. Next, the artworks: Whistler's Mother proves to be a good whistler herself; The Thinker is puzzling over his tax return; a painting that starts with two Indians becomes The Last of the Mohicans. In housewares, an automatic ashtray deals with a cigar (prompting a string of babble from Blabbermouse). An automated poker table plays the whole game, complete with the requisite ace-up-the-sleeve. And finally, the gift-wrap department, which includes one robot to measure out ribbon and another to wrap packages. This prompts another string of babble from Blabbermouse, which gets *him* wrapped up (and, when that's not enough, slapped with a "Do Not Open Until Xmas" sticker on his mouth).

A spoiled-rotten monarch orders royal chef Yosemite Sam to make "Hasenpfeffer", the basic ingredient of which is rabbit. When Bugs comes to the door asking to borrow some carrots, Sam decides to cook him.

After punching in for work, Sam Sheepdog deals with Ralph Wolf's attempts to steal the flock, which this time make use of a balloon, a fake Acme-brand rock and a bicycle-propelled submarine.

Porky and some of his fellow sailors are on shore leave in a bar. A pirate captain discovers that his own crew has jumped ship and forces everyone in the bar to become his crew. The captain treats the crew badly, particularly denying them food (eating the meat off bones, then passing them only the bones). The crew mutinies after a week; the captain tries to fend them off with a cannon, but ends up sending himself into the explosives stores. They explode, and the captain ends up towing the crew on a raft.

When Merlin the Magic Mouse and Second Banana travel to Ireland via magic carpet and crash-land in a shamrock patch, they come across a crazy old leprechaun named O' Reilly. When the mystical creature doesn't believe Merlin can do magic tricks, the magician rodent performs for him. Then thanks to his OWN magic, O' Reilly steals Merlin's pocket watch, resulting in a crazy chase to get the watch back, ending with a collision course on Big Ben!

Animals put on a musical show, to comedic effect.

The rain is outdoors; the action is indoors, in a grocery store, where the characters on product labels come to life (along with one real worm). While much of the picture features characters in blackface, and hence is usually censored, the remaining part includes a bottle of blueing singing "Am I Blue", a snake charmer from a coffee can playing for a tube of toothpaste, an elegant dancing couple from cigarette packs, the umbrella girl on a salt box under a waterfall, and some baby chicks from cleanser cans chasing the aforementioned worm.

Donald hears a radio philosopher advise to laugh and count ten when he gets angry. He tries it successfully, then settles into his hammock for a nap. Between a caterpillar and the hen chasing it, he's soon tangled up and counting ten again. He also shrugs off a bird using his lemonade as a birdbath, but when a woodpecker attacks his apple tree, burying Donald in apples, he snaps.

A time machine sends Daffy Duck and Speedy Gonzales back to Rome in 65 A.D., where they are captured for lion fodder as entertainment for Emperor Nero. Speedy feeds hot chili peppers to a lion, causing the big cat to shoot like a skyrocket. He and Daffy are chased by guards and fall atop Nero, breaking the Emperor's fiddle. Nero angrily pursues Daffy and Speedy as the scientist who invented the time machine sets it in reverse and returns Daffy and Speedy to the present, accompanied by Nero. Nero becomes a fiddler in Speedy's musical band.

Superman battles saboteurs determined to stop a lady double agent from getting important documents to Washington D.C.

Donald has a large sailboat, and his crew consists of his three nephews. But between his own clumsiness, and that of his inexperienced (but not mean) crew, the sailing is anything but smooth, particularly when Donald has a run-in with a shark.

An elderly beetle recalls his long partnership with sea captain Donald, beginning with their time shipwrecked on a desert island.

A trained seal has escaped from the Jingling Brothers circus; there's a $100,000 reward. Both the Captain and John Silver hear this news, as does the seal. They show up, offering the seal a ride to wherever she wants to go; home to the arctic, as it happens. The Captain wins round one, grabbing the seal while John is engaged in a fight with yet another reward seeker. But John's got a few tricks up his sleeve, primarily the seal suit he dresses up in that fools the seal briefly and the Captain for a bit longer.

A series of gags hung on a football game. The running gag is a baby licking an ice-cream cone; the portly man sitting next to him keeps stealing licks. We see the warmups (a kicker punts sitting in a chair; three other kickers break into a chorus line). The coin flip: the players pile on. The kickoff: the ball stays put and the man holding it is kicked. A re-kick: one player is used like a golf club by another. Some razzle-dazzle on the scrimmage line. The QB fades (literally) for a pass. Half-time: a quick show by the marching band; the team beats up their coach; a cheerleader rallies his team's supporters: one man. Second half: A touchdown run is interrupted for a commercial announcement; when completed, a cheerleader literally yells his head off. A quick montage of action, then the final gun which comes from the ice-cream tot, finally fed up with his neighbor.

Wile E. Coyote uses, among other things, a dehydrated boulder to try to catch the Road Runner. He applies a drop of water to enlarge it from pebble-size to usual boulder dimensions, but it enlarges as Wile E. is lifting it over his head, coming down on top of him.

A hungry cat disguises herself as a skunk to get in on feeding time at the zoo, but amorous Pepe thinks she's the real thing and pours on his Maurice Chevalier impression to win her over.

Jealous of all the high-class dogs in their fine coats, a little Mexican hairless pooch borrows one, not realizing it's a skunk's pelt. Once she has it on, she finds everyone fleeing from her, except for the amorous Pepe Le Pew.

Porky and Sylvester spend the night in an old dark house where a cult of killer mice try to eliminate them both. Sylvester tries warning Porky, but he is convinced that Sylvester is a coward.

The adventures of a little penguin living in Antarctica.

General Daffy Duck's fort is plagued by Indian raids. After struggling to awaken Porky Pig for his turn at guard duty, Daffy is terrified by an onslaught of Indians. The day seems lost, until Daffy inadvertently swallows a box of bullets...

While Mammy Two-Shoes enjoys her evening with the Lucky Seven Saturday Night Bridge Club, Tom and his friends have a party in the house. Jerry, unable to sleep, emerges from his mouse hole to stop it.

Tweety Bird is taken by his mistress, Granny, to a beach, where Sylvester Cat spots him and tries to reach his cage, only to be stopped again and again by tidal waves.

Disney animators tour South America and present four animated shorts inspired by their trip.

It's a grand day at the beach for Tom and his girlfriend Toots - that is, until Jerry shows up (and, for a while, gets a rather vicious crab involved as well).

While having picnic on the beach, the Pink Panther gets befriended by a salmon, who desperately wants to follow him home. At first, he has trouble surviving on dry land, but he learns fast, and when the panther sees the salmon on his doorstep with the morning paper in his mouth, he decides to adopt him as his pet. While out walking, the salmon wants to see "Moby Dick" playing in the movie theater, and the panther manages to sneak him in. However, when the salmon, gasping again, dives into the mug of lemonade another patron is holding, the panther and his pet rush out of the theater. A visit to the Ocean World Aquarium turns out bad, as the guard thinks the panther has stolen the salmon from them, so the fish ends up in one of the tanks. The panther has to disguise himself and secretly free the salmon from the tank.

It's Independence Day, and Jerry's little nephew, Nibbles, wants to celebrate with fireworks, while Jerry reminds him to "keep it safe and sane." Initially, this backfires against Jerry, as his attempts to dispose of the firecrackers Nibbles lights explode in his face, but ultimately, Nibbles saves Jerry from Tom with the usual cartoon uses of black powder.

A Pony Express rider's adventures in getting the mail through Indian country.

Inspector Clouseau and Sergeant Deux-Deux track a notorious criminal, Hassan the Assassin, to a run-down building, where Clouseau must gain access to apprehend Hassan. Deux-Deux gives Clouseau a rabbit's foot for luck. It turns out that the only luck the rabbit's foot brings is luck of the bad variety, which Clouseau discovers in each of his painfully misbegotten attempts to enter Hassan's hideaway.

Adolf Hitler sends his greatest pilot to bomb Moscow: himself. But his mission is sabotaged by gremlins, little creatures who attack not only his plane, but Der Fuhrer's person.

Wile E. Coyote tries all sorts of methods to catch the Road Runner.

Wile E. Coyote unsuccessfully tries to catch the Road Runner in a bird seed trap with overhead spikes, and then with a lightning rod disguised as a female Road Runner, with Wile E. doing rain dances to start a storm.

In an attempt to convince Minnie that he hasn't forgotten to buy her an anniversary present, Mickey Mouse ends up promising to take her to Hawaii. Funds being short, he applies for a job as lab assistant to the sinister Dr. Frankenollie, who happens to be searching for a donor to provide his monstrous creation with a brain...

Snafu inadvertantly starts a panic on his base when he begins a mistaken rumour that the base is about to be bombed.

It's a peaceful day in a national forest...until hunting season begins at which point all the bears hide out in a cave but one bear, Humphrey, doesn't make it. He hides out in a cabin and, seeing hunter Donald Duck approaching, hides the bearskin rug in a trunk and takes its place. Masquerading as the rug tends to be an unpleasant experience for Humphrey as Donald opens nuts and bottles in his mouth and washes him in the washer/dryer among other things. Finally, when hunting season ends and Donald leaves, Humphrey is relieved but makes a startling discovery...

Tom must oppose The Two Mouseketeers without disturbing the King's sleep.

Cheese-chasing mice Hubie and Bertie convince a dumb cat that he's actually a lion, and that the mean bulldog in the back yard is really a moose. Eventually they convince the dog he's a gazelle, then a pelican.

Sylvester Cat and Tweety Bird are pets of tenants in the Spinsters Arms Hotel, where pets aren't allowed. As they try to keep out of sight of the landlord, Sylvester discovers Tweety and chases him in and out of the hotel rooms.

A cartoon look at army life.

Daffy is plucked for stardom by director Harvey Hassenpfeffer of Colossal Studios - or so he thinks. However, as he was in A Star Is Bored (1956), Daffy's real fate is to be the stunt man for the star, in this case Speedy Gonzales. The picture is The Nursery Rhyme Review. First, "the sky is falling"; next, the "rockabye baby" cradle falls from a treetop. Daffy realizes he needs to get rid of Speedy, so he asks for an autograph and traps Speedy in a book, which he deposits in a library. Daffy gets the love scene with Ducky Lamour, but after a number of stunts and just before the kiss, his stand-in, Speedy, takes over.

The Pink Panther longs for a pet, but he hasn't got enough money to buy one. A suspect man in a street corner fools him into buying a rock as his pet. The panther adopts the rock anyway, and it immediately takes on a life of its own. When the panther is out walking the rock, they pass a place where rocks and gravel are sold. The rock goes wild and eats the entire supply, growing into a huge boulder. The panther is kicked out of his home by his own mother after the boulder has made a large hole in the floor. The persistent boulder rolls into some wet cement, making it so huge the panther gets terrified and runs away from it.

Jerry plays in an all-mouse band that keeps Tom awake all night.

In a futuristic city, Detectives Monday and Tuesday pursue a wanted criminal.

A cosmic mix-up results in a Martian baby being delivered to Earth, while an Earth baby is sent to Mars. Joseph Wilbur and his wife try to raise the green-skinned, ingenious Martian tyke as if he were an Earthling. But the kid builds his own spaceship and flies away, and Wilbur must find him and bring him back, or he'll never be able to make an exchange with the Martian parents for his own boy.

The little pointy-nosed man and his dog are out camping one night, not knowing that the Pink Panther is on a tree branch just above them. He can't sleep because of the man's snoring, so he cuts loose the man's hammock with a knife, sending him flying straight to the river. When the dog hears the man's scream for help, he grips the knife in his mouth, and seeing this, the man blames the dog for what's happened. Later, the panther attaches the little man's hammock above the campfire, and sends the tent with the man in it floating down the river towards a waterfall. Every time the dog gets the blame, making the man hating his pet.

In the 18th century in Scotland Rob Roy decided to form a band of outlaws.

Farmer Elmer Fudd decides to rid himself of pesty Bugs Bunny using the ACME company's "ewectwonic pest contwoller with a wobot bwain." The robot ends up as scrap at Elmer's feet, courtesy of Bugs.

As the Robotech Expeditionary Force prepares to confront the Robotech Masters at their home planet, the Invid are already ravaging it.

Stranded on an island after his ship was wrecked by a hurricane, Porky meets a friendly African Native. They build a house, and Porky begins to explore the island. On his way we see various sight gags. First, Porky finds a parrot that won't say, 'Polly wants a cracker' because he's waiting for the $64 question. We also see monkey's playing craps, and a monkey who can't seem to climb up a 'Slippery Elm.' Then, Porky sees animals crowded around a water cooler. Porky is then confronted by African Natives who chase him off the island. Porky escapes by chopping a motorboat out of a tree and drives away in it with his African friend. But when the Natives throw spears at the boat, Porky puts an American flag on the back of the boat, and the spears back off.

Tom Cat guards Robin Hood's prison cell; Jerry Mouse and his diaper-wearing friend intend to be Robin's rescuers.

This Merry Melody cartoon, "Robin Hood Makes Good," features three squirrels who find a book about the adventures of Robin Hood, and decide to emulate the hero by becoming merry outlaws of the forest. A fox reads the discarded book and decides there is something in it that will provide a meal (or three) for him.

Sylvester Cat uses a hunting bird, Malcolm Falcon, in another unsuccessful attempt to catch Speedy Gonzales, the fastest mouse in Mexico.

Wile E. Coyote uses slow motion photography to record his failures at catching the Road Runner in hopes of detecting where exactly he went wrong and avoiding the same pratfalls in the future.

Patrolman Porky Pig orders vagrant Daffy Duck out of a gopher hole in the City Park. So, Daffy takes up residence near a fireplace inside a closed-for-business department store. When Porky sees Daffy through one of the store's windows, he enters, intending to throw Daffy out. The resulting chase takes them through the store's many departments.
