A solder in the First World War, the real Percy Toplis was a rake, rogue and master of disguise who became the most wanted man in Britain. This controversial, acclaimed 1986 four-part BBC dramatisation of high romance, hilarious impudence and savage retribution was adapted by Alan Bleasdale from the book by William Allison and John Fairley.

The Gong Show is an updated version of the original The Gong Show, created and produced by Chuck Barris that aired on NBC in daytime from 1976 through 1978, and in first-run syndication from 1976 to 1980 and 1988 to 1989. Barris hosted the show on NBC and from 1977 to 1980 in syndication. The Gong Show was known for its free-wheeling style, absurdist humor, and the titular gong used by the judges to cut short bad auditions. A similar element, a buzzer, is being used on America's Got Talent, a variety show in the tradition of The Gong Show.

TV Show: Dog Eat Dog ( 2002 )
Six contestants spend a day with each other competing in various physical and mental challenges. During this evaluation day players decide who's good/lacking in various elements of trivia and strength. The next day, game day, challenges are presented and the gameplayers vote for the person they think most likely to fail the challenge. If the person fails, they are banished to the Dog Pound. But if the successfully complete the stunt, they then vote off one of the people who voted for them. Players are whittled down until only two remain. They then compete in a head to head competition to discover who's the Top Dog. But it's not over yet! The Top Dog then gets five question categories (ie: Sports, Politics, Entertainment) and must choose which player from the Dog Pound they want to answer each one. If the Top Dog chooses wisely and manages to get the pound members to answer three incorrectly, he/she wins the pot of $25,000. But if the Pound members answer three correctly, they split the pot equalling $5,000 apiece. The game's a great one because during the evaluation day, players use lies and deceit to fool fellow players into thinking they're weak in areas they may not be. Lots of treachery and excitement.

The show features people being transformed with Hollywood Prosthetic makeup into animal and Mythical creatures. The show's format involves one eligible single (Male or Female) and three possible suitors, all four of which have been made over with Prosthetic makeup, each "beast" will then go on a date with the singleton. Over the course of the show, two will be eliminated, at which point their make up is removed and their real identity is revealed for the first time. The remaining person is then chosen as the winner to go on a second date.
