TV Show:
7 Deadly Sins
( 2014 )
Dark, twisted and wildly entertaining, 7 Deadly Sins proves that truth really is stranger than fiction. Acclaimed, Oscar-nominated documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock presents an outrageous, modern day interpretation of the seven deadly sins: lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride. Each episode presents a story around one of the sins that is so extreme you won't believe it's non-fiction. It's humanity like you've never seen it, and you won't be able to look away.

U.N. Me
( 2012 )
Documentary filmmaker Ami Horowitz takes us on a brutal tour of a number of places where the UN has intervened. Through interviews with those involved - some of whom wish to remain anonymous - and archive footage, he uncovers facts about manifest abuses and scandals surrounding UN missions and personnel. Such as a "forgotten" shooting in Côte d'Ivoire, during which UN soldiers opened fire on unarmed demonstrators. Or the "Oil for Food" program in Iraq, which resulted in the wrong people reaping the benefits. Horowitz also addresses the harrowing case of the UN soldiers who stood by, powerless, during the genocide in Rwanda.

Louis Theroux's African Hunting Holiday
( 2008 )
Louis visits several privately owned reserves in South Africa where American tourists pay to hunt wild animals. He talks to an American couple of which the husband considers the hunting trip a dream and to the owners of the reserves who explain Louis that some species would be already extinct if it wasn't for the game reserves. Louis also accompanies some hunters and considers trying to kill an animal himself. He also wonders if it's not a rather artificial hunt, considering the animals are in a, very large, cage and the holiday hunters are being driven to the place where the animals can be found.

Movie:
Gumby Dharma
( 2006 )
Step into the life and work of Art Clokey, creator of Gumby, grandfather of stop-motion animation, and explore why a man would spend his 85 years on earth playing with lumps of colored clay. Art has lead a vital life and influential artistic career, guided by his persistent and evolving spiritual pursuits. His world famous characters, Gumby and Pokey, and Davy and Goliath, echo the spiritual path of their creator. Art's journey takes us from the orphanage to inspiring adopted father, from the Seminary to the Hollywood movie business, and from traditional Episcopalian church values to Buddhism and Indian guru Sai Babba. It is a fascinating life and career in it's own right but also in how it gently influenced his characters and story lines for 40 + years. Clokey's work is one of the few animation characters that have survived the test of time to become a true American Icon. Interviews with contemporary leaders in animation, including Director Henry Selick (Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach) and special effects legend Ray Harryhausen (Jason and the Argonauts, Adventures of Sinbad), place Clokey's work in perspective with the history of animation and explore stop motion's future in a computer graphics world. Also interviewed are his stars Gumby and Pokey (featuring new stop motion directed by Academy Award© Nominee Timothy Hittle) who come "offstage" to reveal the more personal facets of Clokey's story. In this film, we uncover how Art's animation and personal brand of love of life has for almost half a century influenced millions of TV and film viewers and filmmakers across the world.
