The characters moved to Burbank, California during the show's sixth season, and Cindy Williams departed the series as Shirley during its eighth. The show remains a popular staple of syndication.

Logan's Run is a spin-off from the 1976 film of the same name. The series depicted Logan and Jessica-pursued by Francis traveling in a futuristic hovercraft-like vehicle on a cross-country trek to Sanctuary in a post-apocalyptic America. The domed city was seen only in the pilot and two other episodes, using recycled footage from the film. In a change from the book and film, the television series had the city run by a cabal of elderly citizens; Francis has been promised a life beyond thirty as a city elder if he can bring back the fugitives. Logan and Jessica were joined on their journey by an android named Rem.

This series could be said to be a follow up, of a kind, to The Young Ones. Same stars and same attitude but the young ones are now heading into middle age. A succesful series that spawned three live tours (and three videos of these shows) and a big screen film, Guest House Paradiso. Although the film was not released as such it is advertised as a Bottom film on the video release.

During the era of The Twilight Zone, One Step Beyond is a show that told real stories about supernatural encounters. Host John Newland narrated stories of ghosts, monsters, mysterious disappearances, and supernatural circumstances in which no logical answer to explain the events was found. Along with dramatic and eerie re-enactments, viewers couldn't help but wonder if the paranormal truly exists.

Since Aunt Wanda (Kellita Smith) is a busy executive at AT&T, Vanessa (Camille Winbush), Jordan (Jeremy Suarez, "Built To Last") and Bryanna (Dee Dee Davis), are about to discover that life with Uncle Bernie is no cake walk. Bernie's first rule of business is to set down some house rules and he only has two. First rule: It's his house. Second rule: All the stuff in the house is his and no one touches anything without permission. That goes for the TV, the VCR, the DVD and especially Bernie's James Brown CD collection. Bernie believes in tough love and as long as the kids follow the rules, he'll always try to do the right thing, but sometimes Bernie's right thing is the wrong thing.

Long running BBC comedy show consisting of sketches and humourous musical routines involving the large Ronnie Barker and the small Ronnie Corbett.Most sketches involved both men, but occasionally only the one. A spin-off from the Nightmare on Elm Street series, each story was introduced by Freddy Krueger (played, as in the movies, by Robert Englund).

Invader ZIM is an eccentric alien soldier from the planet Irk. He was banished from the Irken Empire after nearly destroying his home planet on an early mission. After begging his superiors, the Almighty Tallest Red and Purple, for another chance, they decide to get rid of him once and for all. They trick him into going on a "secret mission" to an obscure planet at the edge of the universe, a planet with the unlikely name of Earth, in hopes that he'll die along the way. But their trick backfires when ZIM safely reaches Earth and begins his ever-so-subtle conquest of it. He disguises himself as a schoolboy, and now the only person who can stop him is one kid - Dib, a somewhat insane paranormal researcher, who sees straight through ZIM's disguise and is intent on stopping his reign of "terror". The only problem is that neither of them is very good at stopping the other.

Def Comedy Jam was a HBO television series produced by hip-hop entrepreneur Russell Simmons. The series had it's original run from 1992 to 1997. The show returned to the HBO lineup in 2006. Def Comedy Jam helped to launch the careers of several African-American stand-up comedians.

When he puts the mask on, he becomes a totally zany superhero who fights crime and makes a huge production of himself. He can instantaneously make his clothes change to something else, a body part change shape, pull anything out of his pockets, etc. Whenever Ipkiss is wearing the mask, there are no rules. For those who believe that comedian Jim Carrey is actually a cartoon disguised in human form, the 1995-1997 cartoon season offered abundant evidence. Three of Carrey's starring vehicles were adapted to the small screen: Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, and The Mask. Of the three, The Mask was probably the most obvious choice for adaptation. The feature film was a digitally-enhanced human cartoon, based on the Dark Horse comic book.

Police Squad! was a parody of the Quinn Martin Productions' police dramas of the 1960s and 1970s, hence the use of "In Color" by the narrator. The show's main staple of entertainment came from sight gags (such as a tow truck being a truck in the shape of a big toe) and misunderstandings in dialogue, mostly from people taking things extremely literally. Several great routines came from these misunderstandings that left characters in the scene very confused, but left the audience with loads of humor.

After his partner was murdered, veteran plain clothes Detective T.J. Hooker had reverted back to his former role as Sergeant, and returned to the beat to rid the streets of the type of scum that was responsible for his partner's death. Back in uniform, Hooker was assigned to train the academy recruits, and was partnered with brash, sometimes hot-headed young rookie Vince Romano. With Romano much his junior, Hooker acted as his trainer and mentor on both a professional and social level. The age difference generally being the key hook of the partnership, the pair quickly became good friends and a good team. Hooker's tough, no-nonsense ways saw him often clashing with station Captain Sheridan, but he always got the job done and was highly respected as a result.

The show was notable for its frequent use of clips from old movies and TV shows to express Martin's inner life and feelings, which lent it much of its quirky appeal, reminding viewers about the impact of TV on their consciousness. The show was also significant for being one of the first American sitcoms to use uncensored profanity and nudity.

The show revolved around two police officers who investigated homicides in San Francisco. The center of the series was a veteran cop and widower, Lt Mike Stone (Karl Malden), who had more than 20 years of police experience and was now assigned to the Homicide Detail of SFPD's Bureau of Inspectors. He was partnered with a young, energetic partner, Assistant Inspector Steve Keller (Michael Douglas), a college graduate, age 28, who had no police experience. Stone would become a second father to Keller as he learned the rigors and procedures of detective work.

Due to dangers of decreasing resources and growing pollution, the International Scientific Organization (ISO) is established to improve environmental conditions throughout the world. But an international criminal group, Gallactor, tries to achieve world domination by taking control of the ISO. Gallactor was created by a mysterious being from outer space known as Generalissimo X, who gives orders through its chief commander on Earth, the masked Berg Katse.
