Donald Duck would never believe it, but he suffers from sleepwalking. In this blessed innocent state he makes a nightly call at Daisy's, as if it were the time of their romantic appointment; knowing one should not wake or contradict a sleepwalker, she plays along, but finds it increasingly difficult to follow Donald and prevent him coming to harm when he ignorantly strolls the most dangerous places, such as the lion's cage in the zoo, including impossible ones, such as up a wall and even upside down. When she finally gets Donald safely in bed, he wakes up and thinks, seeing her sneak out, she's the sleepwalker...

They get the attention of a bear, who Donald is soon battling.

It's ice skating time. After a few generic ice-skating gags, we get to the main story. An animal falls through the ice, and a pig doing W.C. Fields (W.C. Squeals, apparently) calls for help from a Saint Bernard dog. The dog dispenses a drink, and Squeals begins scheming to get some himself. First he tries faking his own fall through the ice, but the dog sees through it and downs the drink himself. Then Squeals tries using a dish of bones and a magnet, but the magnet falls through the ice and gets stuck around a fish. The fish then swims through a liquor spill from the dog's casket; the drunken fish grabs an ax and, swimming in a circle, dunks another skater. He then latches onto Squeals' skates, and hauls him into an ice-skating contest, where the fish-induced antics win him first prize. Squeals fills the loving cup from the dog's cask, and the fish swims off with it.

The Pink Panther joins the U.S. Army and goes to boot camp, where he unwittingly causes no end of trouble for a short, pointy-nosed drill Sergeant. Before long, the Sergeant is plotting to do away with the Pink Panther. He tries to trap the panther in a mine field, only to become trapped himself. He orders the Pink Panther to dig a hole in the middle of a grenade testing area and throws a grenade in, but the Pink Panther uses his shovel to hit it back baseball-style, and it rolls into the house of the camp mascot- a short-tempered bulldog- and explodes. The bulldog chases the Sergeant into the obstacle course the Sergeant had intended for the panther. The Sergeant next mails the Pink Panther to the Navy, who sends the panther back. So, the Sergeant runs off to join the Navy.

An English voice talks to the Pink Panther, who is reading a book about secret agents, and suggests to the panther that he become an agent. Intrigued at this idea, the Pink Panther dons a trench coat, hat, and pipe and walks nonchalantly on city streets, looking for enemy spies. He comes upon a gang of foreign agents scheming to detonate a series of black-ball bombs, and when they realize he is following them, they shoot him with guns, lure him into a crocodile trap, and, under cover of darkness aboard a train, replace his cigarette with a bomb.

Inspired by the legendary fictional character The Scarlet Pimpernel, the Pink Panther dons a red cape and a red hat with a feather, and becomes The Scarlet Pinkernel, protector of stray dogs. The first two dogs he saves from the dog catcher are anything but grateful, but the third dog, a large and cuddly one, gets too grateful and persistent, hops on the panther's motorcycle while he starts it, and blocks his view. The wild ride goes through a subway tunnel with a train in hot pursuit, and ends up in a telephone pole as the dog tries to chase a cat.

A camp of Russian gypsies, dancing and playing music. After an opening dance, a quartet of beer-drinkers gargles the Volga Boatman song, then another group hauling on a rope sings it (we finally see that the other end of the rope is anchored by a very small dog). A trench-coated bomber sneaks into the palace, where we see Rice-Puddin', the mad monk, cheating at a jigsaw puzzle. He spies the activity in the gypsy camp and orders a henchman to fetch the gypsy girl. The villagers revolt as a result, sending The Mad Monk scrambling on his horse; they stuff a bomb into his pants just as he turns his horse into a helicopter, and it explodes.

Christmas Eve. A poor orphan boy trudges through the snow, pathetically. He finally arrives at his miserable cabin. While he is crying, Santa arrives and, singing the title song, offers to take the boy to his workshop. They arrive, and the toys go wild (in the full version, they sing the title song, but this has been censored in some versions due to outdated stereotypes). He plays with a few toys. A candle falls off the tree and starts a fire. The toys try in vain to fight the fire; the boy hooks up a hose to a set of bagpipes and takes care of it.

Mickey and Pluto makes a short stopover on a South American flight. Mickey throws Pluto's ball into the jungle, and he chases it but it looks exactly the same as an armadillo that's rolled up into a ball. This, of course, greatly confuses Pluto for a while. But he eventually makes friends with the armadillo. He chases the critter into a cave right behind his ball, and rips the ball apart thinking it's the armadillo, which makes him very sad until the armadillo shows up again.

In an Alpine community, a pointy-nosed, little man's incessant tuba-playing results in the entire community threatening to evict him. So, the man, accompanied by his dog, goes into the mountains to play the tuba in supposed seclusion. However, the tuba-playing disturbs the sleep of a tree-dwelling Pink Panther, who, unseen by the man, drops a potted plant, bubble gum, cement, and soap and water into the tuba, and the man, undaunted, persists in playing and blames his dog for these attempts to silence the tuba.

Pluto is playing with a ball in the park when he mistakes a bubble gum machine for it. He tries briefly to get a gumball from the machine when a bee flies into the machine and carries a gumball off to his hive. Pluto goes after the hive and knocks it down; it's full of gumballs, which he eagerly scoops up and begins chewing. The bee returns and is understandably upset; he tracks down Pluto, but Pluto manages to defend himself with gum bubbles for quite a while. The bee manages to wrap the gum from one bubble around Pluto's legs, hobbling him. Finally, the bee flies into Pluto's mouth; Pluto blows a giant bubble around the bee.

A partial updating of the Cinderella story. When the fairy godmother is late, Cinderella calls the police, who put out an APB and find her in a bar. Her first attempt at turning the pumpkin (canned) and mice into a coach produces Santa. Cinderella gets to the ball (in a stagecoach) and meets Prince Charming Egghead. They dance, and spend some quality time on the balcony. Midnight, dropped slipper, and all that; Egghead finds her house with the help of some neon signs, but all that's there is a note that she got tired of waiting and went to a Warner Bros. show. She pops up from the audience, and they head off to the tenth row together.

It proceeds to deliver physical and verbal abuse, and Donald is cured. He goes back and Daisy tests him on the balky window.

When he returns to the raid in progress, he finds himself powerless to stop it. He dynamites the ant hill, but that only separates the ledge he's standing on, and he finds himself in the river again as the ants finish off a cupcake.

He decides to keep himself hidden from sight, and starts playing pranks for the man and the dog, hoping to make the man hate his pet. After the panther makes the dog set fire on the man's gun powder while he loads his rifle, resulting in two explosions, the dog is banned from the man's sight.

Popeye is trying to get his nephews to eat their spinach, so he tells them about how Hercules (Popeye) defeated a bully (Bluto). Hercules gets his strength by sniffing garlic; he wins numerous tests of strength against the bully until the bully spots him sniffing garlic. The bully pulls out a handy bottle of chlorophyll and douses the garlic, disabling Hercules. He then knocks him into a field of spinach where Hercules discovers a new and better source of strength.

The imitator accepts, and at first the trick is working, until the imitator gets too cold amid the ice in the back of the van and the girl gets suspicious.

Meanhile, back in the barnyard, a sneaky fox has captured all the farm animals and birds including, to the fox's delight, the succulent ducks and chewy chickens. But Dinky's bird, now a full-size eagle, comes to the rescue and, as a result, Dinky is acclaimed a hero.

A homeless Pink Panther, seeking shelter on a bitterly cold night, sneaks through a window into the cozy, warm living room of a diminutive, excitable game hunter, whose stuffed animal-head trophies adorn the walls of his abode. The Pink Panther's mooching presence in the house never arouses the hunter's suspicion that there is an unwelcome guest, but the hunter's dog knows about the Pink Panther's intrusion and repeatedly tries to alert its master. The Pink Panther replaces the stuffed body of a Ugandan panther with himself in a still pose and doesn't blink when the man repeatedly whacks him with a stick to show to his dog that the panther is dead and stuffed, and when the man leaves the room and the dog remains, the Pink Panther hits the dog with the stick. Every time the dog tries to retaliate against the Pink Panther, the Pink Panther has moved and the man has taken his place, in the bathtub, in a chair, and in bed, and thus receives the brunt of the dog's attacks.

Krazy Kat, carrying his banjo, leaves home and flies his plane "Kazook" to the house of Ignatz Mouse, whom he loves. Outside Ignatz's window, Krazy starts his serenade. Meanwhile, Ignatz sneaks off to Kelly's Brick Yard and returns with a load of bricks, which he throws at the unsuspecting Krazy from behind. It's no news to Krazy when he's told he has the wrong house.

The Pink Panther decides to become a matador and to this purpose confiscates a magician's cape. The panther enters a bullfight ring with the magical cape, and the bull is thwarted not by the panther's bullfighting prowess but by the cape's trickery, in that it deposits flowers onto the bull's horns and produces a foul-tempered, kicking rabbit that angers the bull into running through the cape and being split into two halves.

TV Show: Mr. Benn ( 1971 )
Mr. Benn is a character created by David McKee who appears in several children's books, and an animated television series of the same name originally transmitted by the BBC in 1971 and 1972. McKee wrote and animated (with Ian Lawless) thirteen Mr. Benn episodes for the BBC in the early 1970s. These episodes were repeated many times over the years, and many people retain fond memories of him. The episodes were narrated by Ray Brooks. The music is credited as composed by Don Warren, which was a pseudonym for Duncan Lamont.

Heckel and Jeckel are in Mexico and selling real-hot hot-tamales at the bullfight arena. When their customers are burned up after eating the tamales, the arena manager tries to throw the talking-magpies out but, in attempting to escape the wrath of the manager, the find themselves trapped in the ring with a ferocious bull. The only recourse is to fight the bull, albeit in many unorthodox ways.

The panther's old car breaks down in the middle of the street. Meanwhile, Dr. Jekyll has developed a magic potion which transforms him into the mean Mr. Hyde. He pours the same drink into his car, and it transforms into a big and mean speed machine. He then goes to a used-car salesman and trades in the car for a new one. The salesman intends to sell the old car for a large sum, but when the car transforms back into its old, compact shape, the salesman lowers the price - and that's when the panther notices it. He buys the car, which soon transforms into its fast and dangerous shape. The panther gets chased by the police but manages to escape when the car shape-shifts back into its normal shape. When the car again gets mean, the panther stops the car at the red light, hops out, but gets chased by the car. When the car finally runs out of gas, the panther, relieved, goes into a toy shop to buy himself a scooter.

Bosko whistles "It Ain't Gonna Rain No Mo" as he walks down the sidewalk in the pouring rain. His umbrella provides a good sailboat when he wants to cross a flooded street. Meanwhile, Honey is getting dressed and made up. She's about to remove her nightgown when she realizes that we in the audience are watching her. She goes behind a modesty screen, but the mirror reveals all to us. Bosko arrives at Honey's place and one of her friends opens the door. Little does she know that several of her friends are downstairs waiting to surprise her. This is Honey's birthday. Honey's little yapping dog causes trouble before and during the party. Worse trouble comes from her pupil--a little kitten who hides underneath a flowerpot and can't get out from under it. When he finally does, he causes a minor catastrophe.

Popeye and Bluto are, believe it or not, pals and partners in a moving company. (Maybe it's because Popeye isn't squinting here.) Anyhow, Olive has made the mistake of hiring them. She hasn't finished packing yet, so the boys, smitten as soon as she answers the door, compete to help her. Once packed, they compete to move more impressive piles of her belongings. Popeye easily wins these contests, even though Bluto locks him in the van at one point. At the end, Bluto socks Popeye into the piano, then into a table; though he hardly seems to need it, Popeye still eats his spinach, then thrashes Bluto.

A commercial short made for the Bristol-Myers Co. (plugging their toothpaste) that features the characters from the "Reg'lar Fellers" syndicated newspaper comic strip by Gene Byrnes. The plot concerns a boy who has an old grouch for a daddy, runs off, meets a dog and joins a gang of kids. Meanwhile,the old man has a nightmare,where he sees himself as an old sour puss because he doesn't take care of his teeth and gums. He sees an electric sign for Bristol-Myers toothpaste, and that sets him on a more positive course. (The few-seconds of film showing the sign represents the only commercial intrusion in this short).
