A dark basement that once served as a bar with ugly wood paneling, outdated bulky bar and no natural light is converted into a nature inspired master bedroom for this couple! What was once a low ceiling dark basement becomes a spa like retreat complete with a painted slat wall that serves as a custom headboard and custom wood stump side tables. Plus, the view from the bed is now a glass tile fireplace surrounded by cabinets and open cabinets. To top it off, they install a twig art ceiling treatment over the bed. |
