When respected Judge Thomas Layton is killed during a re-creation of the Alexander Hamilton/ Aaron Burr duel, Detectives Goren and Eames question his duel partner, George Pagonis, husband to Maureen Pagonis, prominent political candidate and possible first female Mayor of New York. Detectives learn Maureen illegally wiretaps her husband as she suspects he is cheating, but are surprised to learn that George may have known all along. |
