Not an easy first case for the Munich chief inspector Vera Lanz: 24-year-old Kim Landauer, daughter of a prominent innkeeper, fell from the balcony of her apartment after returning from a nightclub - suicide, as it seems at first glance. But soon everything points to murder - by a perpetrator who did not have to force his way into the apartment. The investigation focuses on the victim's 23-year-old ex-boyfriend and his prominent family. Meanwhile, the victim's father apparently holds a former business partner responsible and seems capable of anything in his grief and pain. |
