HASHBROWNS AND POTATERS takes us all the way back to 1896 when basketball was first invented. After being locked inside of a gymnasium during a powerful storm, bitter rivals Hashbrowns Finnegan and Potaters O'Toole took part in the first game of basketball ever played. Figuring out the rules and techniques as they went along, Hashbrowns eventually made the first basket ever, winning the heart of a beautiful onlooker (Shirley) and quickly rises to fame. Meanwhile, Potaters perfects his new innovation, which he calls dribbling. Their intense rivalry eventually leads to the first ever professional game of basketball. |
