On the eve of Hogswatch, a cadre of villains known as the Auditors plot to destroy humanity's faith so they can assume control of the Discworld. They approach the head of the Assassin's Guild, who orders the innocent looking yet ruthless Mr. Teatime to kill the Hogfather. When the Hogfather goes missing, Death steps in to help out, and his adopted granddaughter, Susan, embarks on a rescue mission. |
