It IS a bit slowly paced. But well done. There was a lot of attention to detail, at times a bit TOO much. But I think that as the story develops, it’s going to be good. I like how they modernize it, while giving a nod to the original interview. As a long time fan of The Vampire Chronicles, I’m glad to see them bring new life to Anne’s characters. But if the pace remains as it is, it won’t hold enough interest to get a second season.
I forgot to reply to this. Cool you are liking this as a fan of the original & books. I am too. Agreed there was maybe a bit too much detail in that one scene but at least it wasn’t visual lol.
