There’s a difference between being a slow burner that keeps you gripped and something where 30%+ of an episode/series is just random unnecessary conversations and lengthy pauses before people respond so they can give that ‘smouldering inner turmoil’ stare at the camera or off in the distance.
Yep, I guess it IS unnecessarily saggy isn’t it…. It’s a directors issue then. Not an actor issue, nor a writer. On that front atleast.
