We love Cavill. I cannot believe no one cared for him as Superman; we sure did. The way emotion plays across his face is superb. Plus, my wife has a huge crush on him. He’s handsome and talented. We had zero idea he was “booted” as Superman. What a HUGE mistake. Wow.
I think that’s the problem. No one can see past how handsome he is. I judge actors on their ability to make me believe they’re the character their playing. An aloof Superman was not believable. Attack me all you want. Just didn’t care for him as Superman.
