I am the opposite, i was pretty ambivalent about the show until the last two episodes, which it reared up. I had to come back to it with some effort, and like others in sheridons oeuvre, the story and characters plays a long game and has to be seen as a whole despite its various side quests. I am confused about taylor sheridon though, grappling the difference of kantian ethics with nietzschean philosophy in other series and this one, but far more explicitly at the end here. then mixed in with religion and acting (as opposed to not doing) and then some weird chauvinism and patriotism and horse fetish, then a harriet tubman like crecsendo.. and then he plays these shadow man characters that do the dark good of seriousness…. pretty epic stuff and im pretty iffy on some of the thought processes throughout but i’m glad its having some attempt at anti-racism in it own way. the horses though.. all about the horses…
