It’s not a terrible first episode, but I expect better from the Twilight Zone. Jimmi Simpson did a nice job with the material he had, but if you assumed that things were not going to be flowers, and sunshine…you knew where this was going. I hope the following episodes are better. I can’t say that I like Jordan Peele as the narrator. He doesn’t have the whimsical, self-amused air that Rod Serling had. He doesn’t seem INVESTED enough. With Serling, it was like he was letting you in on joke…or a dangerous secret.
