Love Stephen King anything since I was a child (43 now). Some adaptations are definitely better than others, and the adaptations of his short stories can also most definitely leave something to be desired when they try to flesh it out with their own original writing amongst King’s (see: Under The Dome). Not in this case though, in my opinion! Very intriguing, I’m really diggin’ it! I’ve also always liked Adrian Brody (despite the criticism he gets now and then), and this is the best thing he’s been in for quite some time—you can tell he really got into this role…like in a real “Pianist” kind of way. Most certainly worth a watch if you’re already a King fan, but still worth it too if you simply love a good, gripping horror/drama! :)
