Yes, men in patriarchal societies were often horrible people, but things have changed since feminism, even to the point that there are far stronger societal privileges for women than men. You can nitpick any negative thing about anybody, it doesn’t mean that’s all they are. People know that businesses were corrupt, no matter what sex/gender ran them. People are people, and we can all be horrible.
