I was annoyed by this episode. Half filler, Half action. When its action, the show works but all the unnecessary drama is boring

Okay. The ending was hilarious for this first episode. Look forward to more!
I absolutely love a bargain build. I would like to see more of these.
The Flash was never a perfect show but it did have good stories/characters. Grant Gustin did a remarkable job. I will really miss the show. Thanks for all the good times. End of an era.
I love it! The return of the freak was subtle but so worth it. What a way to subvert our expectations.
Season 3 starts on 9-7-23. And it’s a bit confusing too, the series started in 2011 and ended in 2013, then in 2019 it was picked up again. Three years went by after the 2019 season and then we have the 2022 season and now the final season in 2023. In all, I shall be watching all seasons starting with 2011. Since the Hollywood strike is still continuing, I’ve got plenty of time to watch Top Boy for a few weeks.
Technically 5th season. The first 2 seasons were on Channel 4. It was in a way a soft reboot but also continuation of the story.
I decided to like Kelly early on, and with this episode I knew why, she’s just really cool deep down.
I feel so sad that this show is now ending. I had just graduated high school when it first started airing. Never would I have thought it would go 15 seasons. One of my favorite episodes to date. Dean delivers all the quotable lines, one after another. Proving once again, family is what really matters. Sam and Dean deserve a happy ending.
It’s what you expect from the BBC. Nothing you haven’t seen before but it’s all so well done. Excellent acting by all involved.
I find it hard to believe that major film starts would sign up for this but I’ll give it a go.
Underwhelming first episode. Were they better off?
this is like 8 mins long
Besides having wonderful chemistry as a cast, you really feel like everyone genuinely likes each other. Never a dull moment. Can’t wait for the season finale.
Unrealistic. Cliche. Adam was pretty much the only not annoying character.
Utterly predictable finale. We all knew the freak would reappear. Judy has been a terrible character and hope she gets what she has coming. I honestly hoped Allie wouldn’t die(hard to say but doesn’t look good at all). I hope we get some sort of happy ending in the end.
It’s highly entertaining. Sly is such a character. Sly’s family is very lovely and even though they are famous, they seem relatively normal.
Josh is a self righteous prick. I hate when shows fall into these same type of cliches. Kind of what I expected in the ending and still some surprises. Anything else would be a spoiler.
Very low budget for a pilot. I will still give it a chance since it was just one episode.
Yeah, agreed. Said about the same thing, just a little less. Just a horrible ending for nearly everybody. Could have worked it out differently. Good that they finally found out that Angel was a rat, that needed to happen, but the rest…
EZ was the informant but he was only informing on Galindo/cartel. He stayed true to the MC so it makes no sense that they wouldn’t give him the benefit of the doubt. Crackhead cop was ambitious/arrogant and pyschotic. Why would creeper believe anything she has to say. Same goes for Bishop. Bishop was pissed that EZ took over and did what he said he was going to do. Let’s say no else died, where would the MC be? The crazy mercs would just come and annihilate everyone anyways. A lot of people view EZ as the villain. He was definitely an anti-hero. Villains don’t help anyone but themselves. Time and time again, we were shown that EZ still had good in him despite everything (even killing Gaby).
Lot of filler and not enough substance. Good for a one time watch.
Not the ending I was expecting but still very good! Love all the actors. Look forward to a second season.
Again, I find it hard that ‘A’ list actors would partake in this run of the mill show. I have no absolutely no problem with how the women are portrayed. All believable. What isn’t believable is the narrative. It all becomes cyclical and I fail to see the point as our main lead does. In typice Sherdian fashion, no actual resolution. What will the next season be like, who’s to say.
Looking for something to replace Nancy Drew, and the reviews look good on this one. I like that people say it’s not like most cop dramas, because I watch enough of those. Always looking for something different.
Vastly different from Nancy Drew(I like Nancy Drew, still haven’t finished it). The first season is really solid. Second season is still up in the air.
the 2nd to last ep ever and they give us this crap what a waste of a week waiting for this
You got some bad info there. There are 16 episodes for the final season. Thus completing the ‘The 100’. 100 episodes in total. Simple google search will tell you the same.
This is such a strange show. They don’t even know that they can swim! They don’t know what cameras are! This reminds me a little of Snowpiercer, except that those people knew all about modernity. I think the reason people who go outside to clean die is that there is toxic gas in that breathing pack. The sheriff saw the sun and trees and all, but he still died. He just didn’t take off the helmet soon enough.
Have you finished watching the entire series or still have episodes left?
whoever thought up split seasons should be shot..repeatedly. i started back and have no idea whats going on and tbh this wasn’t good enough to go back
It gets a bit convoluted but it makes it to the finish line. I suppose another series is warranted since not everything was resolved.
Jamie Chung was brilliant. I missed her from ‘The Gifted’. I look forward to seeing her again.
I know it’s vastly different, I meant I have a slot open so I’ll fill it with this. I’ll miss Nancy and the crew. Read all the books as a child, and the show was nothing like them. Still, really good and fun.
This would not be my choice. I’ve been watching Harlen Coben’s Shelter and it is in the same vein of Nancy drew. I read the books too. I have been pleased all around with Nancy Drew. Sometimes characters can be annoying but they all mean well.
almost a month between ep7 and 8
That has to do with NBC. All the networks do it. Long breaks inbetween episodes during the season. Doesn’t make sense to me at all. I can’t say that I’m watching too many network shows these days. The Irrational on NBC is doing this right now. Nearly 3 months for the last 3 episodes. Good thing I’m into the show or I would of stopped watching.
Really good episode. It was slowing down a bit and now it’s full throttle.
They should of just released all of the episodes for the final season. Every episode is a cliffhanger.
Im 40 minutes into the 1st episode and I feel like Ive found another great one. Truly. I nearly gave up after 15 minutes cuz of some bad cgi & not interesitng plot then things TOTALLY switched gears.
Its some crazy mix of Hunger Games, Death Race, and Walking Dead; with SEAN BEAN! Its amazing. so far.
I never even finished it . It gets boring throughout. I think I had like 1 or 2 episodes left to watch.
I can’t stand Dean. It’s time he gets what’s coming. He has overstayed his welcome.
Is anyone else tired of this plot already? First season was a lot better. I hope the story moves along with the next episode.
This show has no right being this good right off the bat! I like the short episode order. This has to be renewed.
This movie stayed with me long after I finished watching it. All kinds of emotions were going through my mind. Anger being primary. And that’s what a good movie does. Gets a reaction out of you. Edward Norton was amazing in this role. Personally, I think he should’ve gotten the Oscar that year. How unfortunate. Asides from that, this movie is definitely worth a watch.
It’s been a while since I watched it by I will revist it once again.
No, and I think the story is moving along as it needs to. It’s also one of the best shows out there at this time, imo.
I’m losing interest in it. I still love all the characters and that will be the only reason I continue to watch. With such few episodes per season, you would think it would be more compelling.
I really like all the characters for the most part but the finale was a jumbled mess. Too many stories going on that didn’t have that kind of closure that I would want. Unfortunately the main arc was pushed to the side. The final reveal wasn’t all it was made to be. It was all just too rushed for me.
What a strange way to end the season. I don’t know about this one.
Not long to go now until the new series of Doctor Who starts up finally.
After a while a single plot has moved forward. I don’t think we should celebrate that. It doesn’t feel like much of anything is happening. Not as bad as last season.
What an emotional rollercoaster! I just can’t believe it. Everything is looking so dire for the team.
The acting in this is atrocious. Keep that in mind. I’ll still watch it for a bit.
They should of really made a sequel. I love Rick Moranis. Ed O’Neil is good in this too.
These are basically full length films. Never feels overdone. Look forward to more!
I’m going to say it, I can’t stand when they break up a couple that they built up the whole season. A love like no other and now Annoying Addison has a new boy toy. God please fire all the writers now…
