The Witcher (2019) S2 E1
SheWatches 5 points 2 years ago.

1st episode and it looks like it is setting a good pace for the season. The plot begins to reveal itself and decent action takes place. I like where it left off but I’m not going to ruin it for anybody by telling any spoilers, you’ll have to see it for yourself. All I can say is that it is worth watching and its off to a good start for the season :)

The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021)
SheWatches 5 points 3 years ago.

Great story about family relationships in a really good animated family movie. Plus, I got a new fun greeting out of it - “aruuuooo!” Enjoy!

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024)
SheWatches 6 points 1 month ago.

So glad I didn’t read the comments here before watching because I enjoyed this movie - it was really good and recommend it for a watch - good for family night

The Marksman (2021)
SheWatches 5 points 3 years ago.

4/5 on the movie. Recommend watching it if you like a good action movie. He can shoot but I guess you already know that by the name of the movie. Enjoy!

A Quiet Place Part II (2021)
SheWatches 5 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I didn’t like it as much as the first one. To be honest, I didn’t like the first one that much either. I do appreciate the creativity and it is not lost on me that our news and government has acknowledged that UFOs are real which leaves me to wonder - will they be like this? I hope not but this movie does leave me with a lot to consider. I guess the best thing I can say about this movie is that it is thought provoking. Enjoy!

Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

Who are you going to pull for, Godzilla or King Kong? Going in I wanted King Kong to win and I loved the way the movie twisted the storyline so that everybody was happy with the outcome. I really got into the movie and enjoyed it. I love the old monster movies like this. If you like the old Godzilla and King Kong movies, then you’ll probably like this one too. Enjoy!

Dexter: New Blood (2021) S1 E5
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

It just keeps getting better each week. I can’t wait until next week’s episode. Anticipation is going to make me read up on the hints for next week lol.

The Good Neighbor (2017)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

Psychological thriller with a few twists and turns. Not a blockbuster type movie - wasn’t over the top. But, it was pretty good. Would I watch it again? I just did lol. I like the actors and the plot and would recommend it for a watch.

Loki (2021) S1 E2

It’s such a good show, hard not to get addicted lol.

Out of Death (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This felt like a made-for-tv type movie. I love Bruce Willis. Doesn’t matter what movie he is in, he makes it good. I can’t put my finger on what’s wrong with this film though - I think it has something to do with the production. I couldn’t help notice the “hallmark” music playing in the background during different scenes. It made it feel hollow and insincere. The plot was good and I like the action. 3/5 for me - it could have been a whole lot better with a few final touches on it production-wise.

Strays (2023)
SheWatches 3 points 8 months ago.

Wanted something fun to watch tonight and this one was perfect! So funny. Definitely not a family movie though - Rated R. Recommend for a watch if you are looking for a good comedy.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

It’s not like the first one but it was good and scary. I didn’t like the way that it started, I felt like they could have built it up a bit more but it turned out okay - good enough for a one time watch. Enjoy!

Fear Street: Part Two - 1978 (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

This one explains part 1 but doesn’t really matter which one you see first - both can stand alone without anyone trying to figure out what is going on. I liked this one just as much as the first. The actors and actresses played their parts really well. What is better than a summer slasher movie? A trilogy? Part 3 is still out there - I am looking forward to watch the 3rd part. Enjoy!

Free Guy (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

best i have seen in a while - just fun fun fun.

Wrath of Man (2021)
Snoop 8 points 3 years ago.

I don’t know about decent reviews as it is sitting below 60 on Metacritic as of today but that never stopped me from watching or enjoying a movie so who cares?

SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

Yep, I often see stuff other people reviewed negatively and then I watch it and its a good movie. I’m going to wait on a better copy to review this one, I have a hard time hearing so I’m just going to wait - I am highly anticipating it though.

Wish (2023)
SheWatches 3 points 3 months ago.

Wish was a beautiful story. I kept waiting for them to play the “wish upon a star” song, but it has its own music that’s just as sweet.

Senior Moment (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

I got a big kick out of seeing William Shatner doing a romantic comedy and it was good too. I’m blown away by how good of an actor he is and how well he gets around -he looks great for his age and moves around like he’s 25 years younger. Amazing. 5/5 for me. Enjoy!

See (2019) S2 E1
PacificLilly 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Pretty good episode and start for season 2! I really like some of the new cast, some interesting new characters! (Was surprised to see the actor who plays the lord of the city… have a feeling I’m going to really like and hate his character! Lol) The queens sister, the princess - she’s still one of my fav characters! And the girl who’s the jailer… interesting that she can see! And the plot thickens! Hehe

And wow, I’d forgotten how much I loathe the queen and how she talks grrrrrr…. lol. It’s all coming back to me now! Curses at the screen when she talks LOL.

SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Yes, I hope the queen dies in childbirth and I hope she has that baby soon and I hope its blind.I can’t stand her either which means that she’s a good actress to make people hate her. We’ll see how it goes.

Unspeakable (2002)
syndromezed 1 points 2 years ago.

How did this Grover guy get to work with that cast - Hopper is quite a catch on his own, but the other three are what I’d call “genre stars”. As in big names in the type of movies they like to choose, especially Lance.

And I have to ask again, how does someone like Lance Henriksen let them totally f* up his name on the box? That to me is a red flag (disclaimer: Haven’t watched this yet but plan to when I have time) usually, since an actor’s name is basically a brand and I imagine they’d be ticked off that their brand was screwed up unless they didn’t expect the movie to make much of a stir.

SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

Dang you’ve got good eyes. I didn’t notice that. I had to check it out - Amazon and Ebay has a different cover and his name is spelled correctly, IMDB has the one above. However, I found out that the one above was released in 2002(even though it says 2004)and there was a 2004 DVD release that has the correct spelling. Weird. Good catch!

The Croods: A New Age (2020)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

Cute - its so funny. I don’t like a lot of animation but I love these crazy Croods lol. Would recommend it for everybody - good family show to watch. Enjoy!

Animal Kingdom (2016) S5 E1

Monsterland (2020) S1 E1

Enjoyed bingeing this season and I can’t wait to see him hopefully bring down the corruption as a Private Investigator.

Spy Cat (2019)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

Cute family movie with a feel good ending. Plenty of animals make this movie fun to watch. Enjoy!

Sympathy for the Devil (2023)
GeminiSaga -1 points 9 months ago.

Tries too hard to be cool and gritty. Cartoonish character by Nicolas Cage who almost looks like a Batman villain.

SheWatches 3 points 9 months ago.

I thought he put on a great performance.

WandaVision (2021) S1 E4
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

Can’t wait to see what happens next week.

2067 (2020)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

I’m glad I didn’t read the comments before I watched the movie. It’s one of those kinds of movies that you should watch and make up your own mind on. I liked it and it wasn’t a high budget film either. I would say 3 out of 5.

The Flash (2014) S7 E18
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Who doesn’t love a romantic finale! Needless to say, I loved the ending. Can’t wait until next year. <3

The Nest (2020)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Ended so badly I can’t really recommend it for a watch. It didn’t even have anything interesting as a plot. One of those “and the moral of the story is…” kind of movies. 2/5 for me.

Fear Street: Part Three - 1666 (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

Every bit as good as part 1.

Did the episode start in middle, already at temple or am I on a bad link?
Why not call family instead of helping her? couple trucks outside, so what, call police, makes no sense..

SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

You must of missed episode 12 - that is where the part 1 of the finale begins. Enjoy!

Night of the Wolf (2014)

Skinwalker (2021)

Dang good movie and fun to watch. Acting though is mediocre at times. Still, I would watch it twice.

Secret Magic Control Agency (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 3 years ago.

I don’t know how they keep coming up with new ways of telling old fairy tales but they do and this one is cute. Good for all age groups but the little ones will love it. Enjoy!

Blood Red Sky (2021)
ShadowWolf 9 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

WOW! Great make-up! I liked it, a good twist on a well known horror concept. kind of reminded me of 30 Days of night…not the story itself but the make up. Very good acting when it came to getting really into character! I thought about them yelling “CUT” and the actors stopping and being normal lol then go back to the chaos when they said action lol. looked exhausting, that takes commitment and not caring about how silly you might end up looking lol. Tons of action, once it starts it doesn’t stop! It’s def worth the watch if your into horror…way better than a lot of whts been out in this genre! Happy Watching!

SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

It reminded me of the Strain except this one doesn’t have the thing coming out of the throat lol.

Werewolves Within (2021)
SheWatches 3 points 2 years ago.

That was a fun comedy. I love werewolf movies so I was “all in” when I saw the word, werewolves. I didn’t know it was a comedy/horror when I started watching and it was funny. I had fun watching this one. Enjoy!

The Secret Garden (2020)
SheWatches 4 points 3 years ago.

Beautiful. I read the story years ago and really enjoyed this movie. Will watch it again. I would buy this one for the collection. 5/5 for me.

The New Mutants (2020)
SheWatches 4 points 3 years ago.

Good movie. It has a little bit of everything in it and of course, superhero aspect. I just liked it for the story. I would watch it again but not on CAM - will wait for it to release in a better format or go see it at the movies. Enjoy!

The Book of Boba Fett (2021) S1 E3
Gunner Driver 13 points 2 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

What a devastating episode for Boba to see his sand people tribe slaughtered😢 And for the hutts to send Black K to kill Boba like that was vicious😠 Lucky Boba recruited Drash and her gang, It was cool to see them help Boba against Black K and trap him briefly in his dungeon👍 Then the hutts come to apologize to Boba and gift him a new Rancor, with a cameo from Danny Trejo was awesome👍 But then Boba releases Black K which I don’t think was a very good idea? It was also very cool to see that Boba was going to learn to train and ride his new Rancor and for them to bond was touching☺ Let’s see what happens next?👍

SheWatches 4 points 2 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

Boba and the Rancor was my favorite part :) “Is that the spot?” hehe

The Banishing (2021)
SheWatches 4 points 3 years ago.

Suspense, mystery, period piece, and ghosts. Not really scary, although it was situational horror. There’s not a lot of special effects which is something I enjoyed because it was a very good scary story without having to add a lot. Sometimes, movies can be too much and this one is not over-the-top. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon or whenever you want to watch. I would say 3 1/2 but we can only rate in full steps and its not quite a 4 for me but good enough. Enjoy!

The Night House (2021)
SheWatches 4 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I was a good ghostie movie. I liked the ending. If you aren’t paying attention at the ending though, you’ll miss why they are staring at the boat. I would watch this one again.

The Prestige (2006)
SheWatches 4 points 3 years ago.

Old movie but still better than I’ve seen coming out lately. Perhaps, better movies will start coming out after this pandemic is over. 5/5 excellent and I would recommend this to watch if you enjoy a good mystery thriller. Enjoy!

Bone Tomahawk (2016)
SheWatches 4 points 3 years ago.

Some shocking scenes in this movie. Can’t believe I never saw trailers for this one - dang good movie. Would buy it for my collection and watch it multiple times with friends. This was my perfect type of movie western and horror lol. Some people may not like either of those genres but for me 5/5.

Bad President (2021)

Unfortunatley, Noel, this kind of stupidity is all too common. This is what our founders would weep at if they saw the country today. Imagine the founders’ reaction to seeing the current administration and the stupidity at large? They would have made big changes to what they wrote had they known the future.

The Protégé (2021)

This looks like it is going to be a good movie. It has some great actors. I can’t wait to watch it, but I’m going to have to wait until a HD copy comes out At my age, it is difficult to hear CAM versions. Added to my wish list!
