yes it does have English subs but if you listen carefully the subs are on a French dubbed version. Not the original language version which is Portuguese. That is what lylou6657 was questioning. :)

I have just finished watching the first 3 episodes and I am in hook, line and sinker. I had only seen Cush Jumbo on the Good Wife/Good Fight, where she really doesnāt have the opportunity to show much range. This is a better example of her craft.

I agree. I binge watched the first season after seeing an interview with Martin Freeman, explaining how he came up with the idea for the the series. Michael McKean was great in the first season.

Amazon announced Bosch: Legacy would return for a Season 2 ahead of the Season 1 premiere in May 2022. At the moment, a release date for Season 2 of Bosch: Legacy hasnāt been confirmed, but Michael Connelly, the author of the Bosch series and producer of the show has confirmed that production is set to start on the second series later this year.
Bosch: Legacy fans should therefore expect an early 2023 release date.
Yea, can never have too much Bosch. Letās hope he gets the house back, I missed it!

I never saw Gray. I thought this was more the cat with 9 lives getting another run. I used to drive a taxi and those 2 losers were actually a really good portrayal of the type of idiots who assumed they could easily get the better of you. They may have picked the wrong driver to take on with Ray.
Funny thing, apparently Scott Ryan really was a taxi driver while he was inventing the Ray Shoesmith character. Explains how he nailed it writing for the 2 losers he picked up there at the end.
The title of the episode is āIām Not Leavingā. I donāt understand why people are jumping to the conclusion that Ray dies.
The enigmatic smile he gives those 2 punks bodes otherwise. Seems Ray is going to see if he still has it, even after taking a bit of a break.
. . . but Iāll miss him.

Well that was just unbearably sad. So well acted. The music in the sound track throughout was almost like another character. Thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns. Kept you guessing until the last.

I will watch just about anything with Bean and Graham in it! Wonder if theyāve worked together prior to this drama? About to watch it and know it will be good! Beanās character in Snowpiercer is such a bad person and he pulls it off. But I prefer him playing the good guy but playing a bad guy is more fun I guess.
Bean and Graham previously worked together in the second series of Accused, which was also written by McGovern.

l was expecting this to be your typical procedural drama. Instead they made the title character brillant but flawed and relatably human. Add to that an excellent supporting cast with lots of humour and you get six interesting episodes.

I am going have to disagree. As a Canadian I wish CBC put on good shows, but the fact is if you look at the good shows in TV. They rarely come from Canada or CBC unfortunately
As another Canadian my reply would be, tell that to the writers, producers and directors of the much lauded āSchitt$ Creekā. Or then there is āThe Nature of Things with David Suzukiā in its 59th season. Also āKimās Convenienceā a sitcom picked up by Netflix. All three are available here on Primewire.

This may not normally be a show I would watch, or quite comfortable with male sex scenes, but the story is well done. it is chilling in what gay humans went through during the witch hunts of the McCarthy Era. I can better empathize with my older gay friends, after watching this. Indeed a dark time. A show that prompts me to do web searches for more information always raises the bar for me. I learned more about Julius and Ethel Rosenberg. Discovering the poetry of Langston Hughes, was the real treat. I spent half the night, after episode 2, reading his writings.

Perfect casting of Blanchette as the femme fatale but I canāt figure out her characterās motivations for doing all that she did. Unless she was just plain nuts? Any ideas? That part was, for me, the only glitch in an otherwise fantastic flick.

A posh Englishman decides to take on helming a pirate ship replete w/pirates, what could go wrong? Well, everything for them but comedy gold for us. The 1st epi was pretty funny. Waititi is always good for a watch & a laugh. Good acting, writing & production design too. Hopefully it just gets even better from here but even if it stays at this level it will be entertaining.
