I’ve never seen this happen before. EVERY site had the wrong episode

If you’re still having trouble, Version 31 is the right one. It’s actually happened a couple times, but rarely.
Finally trying to catch up on this show. I must say, for a woman who was sedated and wheelchair bound for years, Deirdre walks surprisingly well in heels. Not a bad episode. Interesting how the show is taking a different direction than the novels, but it’s working.
I’ve been a fan of “Bob’s Burgers” since the beginning. I was excited to hear that they were making a movie. This past season wasn’t great, but I figured they were just focused on the movie. It’s not terrible, but not that good either. Some moments were funny, but most of it seemed to lag.
Judith Light looks so different with that hair color and style. Decent story line. Nice to see that Charlie isn’t infallible with her gifts. Clever way to commit a murder, but I wonder how Irene was able to get back down that trellis. She seemed to have enough trouble going up!
Since the 19th was Tim Curry’s birthday, I wanted to watch one of his movies. But I’d recently seen Rocky Horror and “Clue”. “IT” was too long. I wasn’t in the mood for “Legend” or “Gingerclown”. So, I went for this. I’d forgotten how funny it can be at times. Is it the best Addams portrayal? No. But Tim Curry as Gomez worked.
Finally getting around to checking this out. Interesting first episode, very reminiscent of “Happy Death Day”.
This is great! They’re releasing a remaster in June. But it’s on YouTube. Natashia Lyonne is great, as usual. Peaches Christ is hilarious! And the scene where Thomas Dekker says he has a crush on an older woman and Cassandra Peterson looks up at a sexy Elvira poster is iconic! I love those creepy twins, too.
Yes I feel like Pandora gave up mid performance as she saw the other two queens slaying Rupaul with their jokes. She handed them the show basically.
Excellent. I’m planning on it. I do love Anne Rice & have read the vamp chronicles & Cry To Heaven which I loved. I own a bunch of others including the 1st book of the Mayfair books but have yet to read them. I think I even tried reading it but I found Anne to get FAR too into unnecessary descriptions. I kind of lost interest in her writing in the last vamp book when Lestat meets Memnoch the devil & tours hell. Anne goes on & on endlessly w/descriptions of the surroundings of hell. I just found myself skipping over whole chapters since they were mainly describing sections of hell. Ugh! lol.
Oh goodness no! “Memnoch The Devil” wasn’t even close to the last of the Vampire Chronicles. That said, she CAN be a bit verbose. As I reread the Mayfair books (albeit very slowly), I’m finding that out. She manages to create very detailed works. For good or bad. lol. But this show is worth checking out. As is the bastardized TV version of “Interview With The Vampire”.
So many easter eggs! “Wind Chill”, “Creepshow 2”, “The Shining” , “Evil Dead”, “Psycho”. . .
Is that really the season finale? If so, wow. What a cliff hanger for a show that changes every season. This season was very powerful. With modern medicines, we sometimes forget how bad HIV/AIDS was early on. Silence = Death.
Fun episode. Glad to see the teens enjoying their Drag Prom, though it sucks that COVID took their IRL prom. I was a bit disappointed that no one pointed out Gia’s Peggy Bundy look.
The description makes this sound like a porno! lmao. Better summary: A business woman working late on Christmas Eve discovers her car won’t start. Then she finds she’s locked in. An obsessed parking lot security guard knocks her out and changes her clothes, then chains her up. Things take a downward spiral and he becomes more unhinged. Can she escape P2 before it’s too late?
Pretty decent film. The leads play off one another well.
Great movie! David Warner, Donald Pleasance, Peter Cushing, and more.
SO happy this show’s back. Too bad it’s only 4 episodes and the rest are TBD.
I was a bit worried after seeing the first episode. But if the rest of the season is like this episode, it’s going to be amazing. Jean Smart is able to play everything from humor to bitchiness to vulnerability equally well. And when she snapped in the New Age shop, it was hilarious. You feel more sorry for Ava as the episode goes on, even though she kind of deserves it. That poor manager though.
Glad to see much of the original cast back. Reminiscent of “The Shining” (right down to those double glass and wood doors as he did a Jack Nicholson hair thing). Sarah Paulson always plays a good addict…not sure what that says about her. Macaulay Culkin definitely LOOKS like a junkie/vampire/whatever. Adina Porter plays a great cop, disinterested and going through the motions (good to see her again!). There’s ZERO chemistry between Finn Wittrock and Lily Rabe though. Time away from AHS made Evan Peters even hotter somehow! And he and Frances Conroy singing “Islands in the Stream”…they have surprisingly good voices. “Oh God no! With all those tourists and sunshine?” I love Belle already! Is the car outside of Austin’s home the one driven by Paulson in “Ratched”? Looks like it! Leslie Grossman made an appearance…. Overall, a good first episode. Missing Jessica Lange though. I think the little girl was the most believable character. But who would take a pill some random stranger handed them?
This show started out so well. But the last couple episodes weren’t that good. Here’s hoping that if there’s a season 2, it picks back up.
Even WITH an adblocker, Version 30 (videobin) popped up FOUR adverts. Thankfully, they didn’t fully load, thanks to Privacy Badger. But be wary!
I’ll put this on my list. Have you seen the vampire movie ‘Let The Right One in’? Totally serious & different from this but so good. The title of this made me think of it. There’s also a US remake called ‘Let Me In’ that’s good too but a bit different vibe to it than the creepy original.
augusts1: I’ve seen the original and the remake. Both are good, though the original does have more creepiness to it.
I’ve not read the books. Will I be totally lost if I watch this? I already have it on my list from when you commented on the 1st epi but have yet to watch.
Oh no. The books and show are different enough that you wouldn’t need to have read them to understand the series. Each is good in it’s own way, but (even though I’ve read the novels a couple times), I think the TV adaptation is better. At least, so far. I’d say to give it a go.
Happy 4th of July! This is one of those movies you just have to watch on the third or fourth!
SO happy to see this is back. It’s clear that Serena’s built an army of supporters. As for June, “You killed someone? You’re free to go. But you mailed a severed finger, so you must pay a fine.” Seriously?
I had looked forward to this remake since I first heard the news. It did not disappoint. 5 stars.
I have loved TWD from the beginning. Liked FTWD early on too. This is amazing! Call-backs to the earlier shows, but a feel all it’s own. I hope it keeps up this momentum.
I watch this episode every December, and it never gets old. But it’s amazing to see how far the characters have come since. These early episodes were so rough.
I wonder how many times my heart can break?
Good first episode. I love how it’s more a continuation of the original movie than a reimagining. And I’m so happy they got Brad to voice Chucky! No one can play him like Brad Dourif!
The hostess with the most is joined by a cast of “were they popular even back then?” to string together the lowlights (er…”highlights”) of some truly forgettable films. This video is complete with vintage commercials from autumn 1995 (as in about 25 1/2 years ago [yep, really!]).
Interesting finale. They bring Patricia’s story full circle, only this time she is the mother being committed. And we get a glimpse into how long the demon has posed as Rosemary. So many classic horror movie references in this series. I sure hope there will be a season 2.
“I’ll just check out an episode”…and I finished the series! This show manages to drag you in. If you’re a fan of dark comedy, check it out.
Ginger, Kylie, and Ra’Jah had me in stitches. The guest judge somehow makes me think of Bitsy from “Central Park”. lmao. Eureka looked the part… I feel like Pandora would’ve done better as Susan Sarandon.
THAT was the end? It seems like a “cliff-hanger” season finale, rather than a series finale. That said, I BAWLED.
So many layers to this episode. It keeps getting better. From laughing at Elly’s remarks about the pages to worry when they’re awakened. . .
Shae’s Die Antwood wig was a choice.
Trinity slayed Pink, so how did she not win that?
I thought for sure Raja would win when they said “Eurythmics”. Bless her heart, Evie tried.
Jinkx vs Monet, I thought this would be a fiercer battle than it was!
Congrats to the Queen Of All Queens and to Miss Done Already Done Had Herses.
I was so happy to hear this show was back (thanks augusts1)! And with a live audience! So many sparkly masks. I was surprised Megan Thee Stallion was gone. But Kiki seems like a fun new addition.
Interesting story line so far. Hints of “Jericho”, “Salem’s Lot”, “Jericho”, and the coffee segment of “Escapes”. I look forward to seeing what they do with this.
Thanks to Ru’s Twitter, I knew the winner 15 minutes after the show ended. But I enjoyed the watch anyway. Lady Camden did a better job with the lip sync, though it was close. I got the feeling Willow won because of her chronic illness (not to say that she didn’t suffer, chronic illness is hard. But it shouldn’t be a factor in a competition). It was interesting seeing some of the former Queens perform. I swear, Derrick Berry looks more like Britney now than she does! And can we talk about Kornbread’s titties? ;-)
This is by far the best vampire show since salems lot js
