Still one of my top fav films. It is such a classic. I could write a novel of a review, but better to let others decide for themselves I think. Over the years, I’ve gone back and forth, liking and not liking the different versions, (directors cut, theatrical release, special edition, etc.) But regardless of the version, it’s top notch. I’d say anyone who likes movies should at least watch it once.

My very 1st favorite movie ever! Hehehe Such a cute movie! God bless my mother for watching it with me probably a few hundred times. Lol. I’m pretty sure we still have this on a vhs tape stored somewhere. Haha. 4 year old me rates this infinity out of infinity stars! Hehe Adult me rates it at 5/5 stars. :-D

This was not for me. I’m sure others will appreciate it, it does have decent movie qualities. Just was not what I was hoping to see.

I found this movie pretty decent. It did loose some of it’s momentum in the middle. But had just…. barely enough, to still keep me interested and even a little thought provoking at times. Acting was good… enough lol, music was great, and dialogue was also ehhh okay. The ambiance was a bit dark for my personal liking but it defo was on point for what the writer was trying to convey, imo.

Not the best, but a good one time watch.

YAY! June 22nd, 2021!!!! Only about 3 weeks before this series is back for Season 2!! WooHoo! I really liked season 1 of this show. I found it to be pretty interesting. I mean there really aren’t any truly “new” or perfectly unique shows or movies anymore. But being able to take a subject that’s been done a million times before and change it just enough to where it’s (for the most part) a new story that’s interesting and engaging, is flipping awesome! And I don’t only just like this show bc the writers made it just enough different from others in the genre… I like it because the writing is good, the characters have depth and have grown on me, the acting is decent, the music is seriously fantastic and bc the storylines have the possibility of evolving (which I’m very excited to see where they go!) It’s been a pretty fun and enjoyable ride into their unique world, thus far, and I’m excited to dive on in further to see what happens next! :-) June 22nd everybody! Yippee!

(Too funny… I’m already wanting the next season to “get here already!” and I have yet to watch the last episode of this season! LOL) I think I may like this series, juuussst a’lil-bit! Hehehe

Great story, great cast. One of Luc Besson’ best. This is the movie that introduced me to Jean Reno and Gary Oldman. Am a fan of the both of them. Hats off to a very young Natalie Portman as well.

There were a few mehhh, “good” spots, parts… but this will be only a one time watch for me. It would’ve been a 3.5 but the ending was just ridiculous. (Not saying, so no spoilers.) So 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Very interesting movie. It was also very cute, knowing the result of this day together.

I absolutely love this show!! This zoo takes such good care of their animals! And their educational programs are awesome! Some day I hope I can go check it out in person! But until then, yay for this show!!! It’s just fantastic! One of my all time favs!!! 5/5 stars!

I really love this series. I also really liked the original movie. And I’ve read several comments from people who think that the movie was absolutely better than this series and I can completely understand where they’re coming from. And in a way, I agree. But also, I think that the series differs from the movie enough so that for me, I look at it as a separate story, independent from the movie, and therefore not really comparable. In other words, comparing this to the movie is like tying to compare apples to oranges; Yes both fruit lol, even cousins sorta… yet different species entirely. Hehe. So I totally get and agree that the movie was awesome— new/original idea and story, and that this series isn’t as good as the movie. But I think that looking at this series as a new idea and story and not looking at this as a sequel, reboot kind of series, that on its own… I think it’s awesome! Fun and intriguing story and subplots, interesting characters, extremely awesome mini or condensed worlds in each sections/cars, very interesting fashion, music, alternate world history, and etc…!!! I think this series has a lot to share and I’m super excited to learn more about the story, characters and the world in which they live!!! I have no idea if this series will live up to the hype I’ve just given it hahaha but I am hopeful it will come through and serve up some good cinema! Either way, I’ll find out soon! Only 4 days to go until season 2 begins!!! Dun dun DUHNNNN! Hehehe

Just finished watching the first episode and I am saddened this is a true story. But it is very well done, fine acting etc. It is worth the watch but I have to say, it really gets you angry at the perpetrators and the culture that allows this horror.
