Salma had like 4-5 lines that i played back a few times, and i still have no idea what she said. Some people like to blame that on an accent lol. The Bronx is an accent i can understand people there. It’s not accent, it is inability to properly speak a language. I certainly have no problem with people who struggle with a language, but when you have a story/ script written in a certain language…you need the ability to convey the story to the audience in the language that it was written. I wouldn’t ask anyone from the deep south of the US to speak English either.

So when he had his arm cut off and touched the crystal. That put the “Receiver” in his blood. That world gave out the power that he received. Then the “Receiver” transfered from his blood to her’s. Earth has it’s own power output that only Earthlings can tap. Why he lost his power’s when coming to this demension. That’s how I percieved it anyway. Or maybe if they stayed together long enough he might have started to regain some if not all. Might be a slow process. Like a Hancock type thing but in reverse.
Only Earthlings can tap the power on earth. Okay I get it now. The power in his blood didnt work for him because he wasnt from earth.

His powers came from the crystal force thing, sorry already forgot, not his blood. When they came together there biology was changing/reverted slightly like it was in their universe. Why she got powers I’d guess the “crystal gift” leftover in his blood transfered to her like Green Lantern style. Then on Earth the powers come from something else, like maybe the Sun.
But the power that transferred to the girl came from his blood, like visually on screen it erupted from his blood and went into her body.
So it had to have been in his blood before he jumped out of the window since it was blue already from getting shot. If the power in his blood let the girl fly, why didnt it let him fly while he was still alive when he tacked the girl. Either he should have powers or the powers shouldnt have been in his blood at all to transfer to the girl imo. Just doesnt make sense to me.

Overall good movie. I enjoyed it. Thematically the ending was good, but logically it didnt make any sense to me. If his blood was renewed when in proximity to the blonde lady why didnt he get his powers back? If we take it as fact that he didn’t have powers when his blood turned blue, how did his powers transfer to the girl if he didn’t even have them in the first place? If his blood turned blue and regained abilities he shouldn’t have died. If im missing something please let me know Im genuinely curious

So Im usually not a fan of reality shows but this show is pretty good. It showcases top craftsman and women working on their trade, restoring precious family heirlooms. That’s my favorite part, but it also has a little history of the items being restored. I found season 3 only on netflix, glad to see all of them are here!

Bad cgi but very interesting premise. Id say its worth it if you are looking for a weird movie off the beaten path

Im not going to talk shit about something I havent seen. So I try and watch everything sci fi and superhero related so I actually have ground to stand on when I am critiquing shows. Wandavision is utter shit. So is batwoman.
