DaniBl's comments

Together (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 2 years ago.

Ah, this was good. Touching, yet funny.

Evil (2019)
DaniBl 7 points 2 years ago.

Love it. I don’t normally like horror movies/TV series (don’t need additional stress in my life), but this series has just the right amount of scary that doesn’t leave you traumatized.

Sophie: A Murder in West Cork (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Shocking that despite so much evidence, all his confessions etc. he is still not arrested and charged with murder. I’m certain he’s the killer.

The Tomorrow War (2021)
fessologue 5 points 2 years ago.

Loved it. Made me think of “the edge of tomorrow”

DaniBl 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Come on…”The Edge of Tomorrow” is a masterpiece. This is just a cheesy one time watch. It could have been so much better, but oh well…still watchable.

Chaos Walking (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 2 years ago.

I actually liked it. Hope there’s a sequel.

A Quiet Place Part II (2021)
DaniBl 2 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I liked it. It’s just short, or better yet the introduction was too long and the ending too short.

Riders of Justice (2021)
DaniBl 5 points 2 years ago.

Damn, Mads looks even better as he got older. Great film too.

Kevin Can F**k Himself (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I get what they are going for, but nothing really happened in episode 1. If that’s what it will be like in all the other episodes then it’s just going to be boring. They needed a major cliffhanger at the end of first episode to draw people in…that didn’t happen.

Those Who Wish Me Dead (2021)
DaniBl 4 points 2 years ago.

Not bad, but it would have been a lot better if at the beginning they didn’t try to make Jolie into some wild, reckless woman while she looks like a stronger wind could blow her away. The middle and the end made up for it though.

Awake (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 2 years ago.

Overall, not bad…the ending was meh though.

The World's End (2013)
dutchy 2 points 2 years ago.

go watch hot fuzz too its part of the trilogy

DaniBl -1 points 2 years ago.

I watched it and didn’t like it as much. Simon Pegg as a badass cop just doesn’t look believable to me lol.

Years and Years (2019)
DaniBl 2 points 2 years ago.

This is such an amazing TV series…bit anxiety inducing at times, but amazing.

Revenge (2018)
DaniBl 3 points 2 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

LOL…this could have been so much better if it was just a bit more realistic. A woman pretty much gets impaled and loses liters of blood, yet somehow survives and kills three men. Not to mention that scene in the end where there is so much blood the house is literally painted red, yet somehow they both run around it like they are perfectly fine. FFS

Mare of Easttown (2021) S1 E5
DaniBl 2 points 2 years ago.

Damn… That was a good episode.

Stag (2016)
DaniBl 1 points 2 years ago.

Great British mini series. Rewatching it.

Daniel Sloss: X (TV Special 2019) (2019)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

Love him. What a great special and the last 20 minutes or so…genius.

Sirens (2011)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

Comedy gold. I wish there was a season 2, 3, 4…

Allen v. Farrow (2021)

I think you forgot to login to your DaniBl account.

DaniBl 3 points 3 years ago.

Um, he/she was the first to comment…pay attention and ease on conspiracy theories.

Allen v. Farrow (2021)
duuuuuuuuuude 3 points 3 years ago.

Two separate investigations said he didn’t abuse her.

It’s really strange that you chose to defend an abusive mentally ill woman who not only married a man 30 years older than her, and not only got pregnant by a married man before she stole him away from his wife, but also adopted 15 children. Let that sink in… 15 children. What kind of person adopts 15 children… and then abuses them?

DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

So Angelina Jolie is a monster for adopting as many kids as she has? WTF…since when is wanting to adopt kids who have no home or any kind of future a bad thing? And, no, being with married men can in no way, shape or form compare to being a pedophile!

Allen v. Farrow (2021)
duuuuuuuuuude -2 points 3 years ago*.

Because they were brainwashed by a mentally ill, abusive mother who locked a paraplegic in a shed overnight. And the other nanny that was there said the lap incident didn’t happen.

“When Monica, our long-term nanny who was out that day, returned to work the next day, I confided to her that I thought the story was made up. Monica, who had been with us for six years, would quit her job a few months later, saying that Mia was pressuring her to take her side and support the accusation.

It was Monica who later testified that she saw Mia taping Dylan describe how Woody had supposedly touched her in the attic, saying it took Mia two or three days to make the recording. In her testimony she said, “I recall Ms. Farrow saying to Dylan at that time, ‘Dylan, what did daddy do… and what did he do next?’ Dylan appeared not to be interested, and Ms. Farrow would stop taping for a while and then continue.” I can vouch for this, having witnessed some of this process myself. When another one of Dylan’s therapists, Dr. Nancy Schultz, criticized the making of the video, and questioned the legitimacy of the content, she too, was fired immediately by Mia. (My mother, for whom ‘loyalt’ was hugely important, would also fire another long-term caretaker, Mavis, claiming that she was making statements against her.)”

DaniBl 3 points 3 years ago.

Please explain to me how would you react to being told your ex sexually abused your child AFTER already finding explicit nude pictures of your other daughter in his possession? If anything she was too nice. I would not let him within 50 feet of my children. Also, sadly, abused kids often react exactly how Dylan did, like they are not interested and like they are talking about an every day thing, because children have no concept of sexual abuse. He was clearly acting very strange with her for years and what happened that day probably felt normal to her on some level. Either way, it’s really strange that you choose to defend someone like him. He’s a creep which ever way you look at it.

Allen v. Farrow (2021)
duuuuuuuuuude 1 points 3 years ago.

It’s not what I say, it’s what Moses Farrow says. He’s an eye witness.

And Woody Allen had zero contact with Soon Yi when she was growing up.

Also, the documentary conveniently leaves out that Mia Farrow was 19 and Frank Sinatra was 50 when they started dating. That’s just about the same as Woody and Soon Yi.

DaniBl 7 points 3 years ago.

I’m not sure why you choose to believe Moses over what everyone else in that family is saying. I think Moses loved the attention Woody gave him and that’s the main reason he’s defending him. Even if nothing of what Dylan said happened, there are still so many witness accounts of his very strange and obsessive behaviour when it comes to her alone. And even if Mia “coached” her, Dylan is not a child anymore and by now she would cave in and say something about being coached.

Allen v. Farrow (2021)
duuuuuuuuuude 0 points 3 years ago.

Before you believe everything in this documentary, you should read what Moses Farrow has to say. Google “A SON SPEAKS OUT By Moses Farrow”

DaniBl 5 points 3 years ago*.

Even if what you’re saying is true, and I don’t believe it is, that still doesn’t explain what happened with him and Soon Yi. You have to be sick in the head to have sexual relations with your girlfriend’s daughter…daughter you’ve pretty much seen grow up.

It's a Sin (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

Such a beautiful and sad tv series. Keeley Hawes should get a BAFTA for that scene in the hospital (last episode). They were all great obviously, and she’s not even a main character but that scene was just powerful.

Call Me Kat (2021)
the2nd 2 points 3 years ago.

thanks for info. I’m gonna have to check out Miranda now. :)

DaniBl 3 points 3 years ago.

You definitely should. It’s comedy gold!

Clarice (2021)
DaniBl 5 points 3 years ago.

This was a good first episode. Don’t let the comments keep you from watching it.

Call Me Kat (2021)
the2nd 3 points 3 years ago.

Despite the laugh track and the overuse of “Kat” talking to the camera, the show is watchable and the ending is definitely different than any other sitcoms. If Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons and other writers would tone down the one-liners, remove the laugh track or don’t insert as much and bring a little subtle humor, the show could be nice. It was entertaining and not a total waste

DaniBl 6 points 3 years ago.

Well, considering it’s a remake of a genius British sitcom (Miranda) from over 10 years ago, I’d say it’s not that unique…

Miranda: My Such Fun Celebration (2020)
DaniBl 2 points 3 years ago.

Ahh, this was a perfect. Love and miss Miranda.

The Drowning (2021)
Fmghost 0 points 3 years ago*.

I only watched the first episode no need to watch the rest then? I liked Rupert on the strain, s3 of lucky man and spooks

DaniBl 0 points 3 years ago.

Well, don’t let me keep you from watching it lol. I kept watching just to see if he really was her son or not, but yeah they really messed it up.

The Drowning (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

LOL this had so much potential and then it sank (no pun intended) so bad. Idk what the hell were they thinking when they wrote some of this shit.

Mr. Mayor (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

This is actually pretty good. Looking forward to more episodes.

Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

If there ever was a person that I thought could be Satan himself or something like that evil creature from Steven King’s “The Outsider”, it’s him. What a fucked up individual. Evil to the bone.

Run Hide Fight (2021)
DaniBl -2 points 3 years ago.

Could have been good, but it ended up being lame af.

Call Me Kat (2021)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

Well, considering Miranda was hilarious and very few shows, if any, could compare to it, it’s no surprise this was a bit of a let down. Especially when it comes to the part of her mum…that woman is so full of botox her face is motionless. Miranda’s mum was just as funny as Miranda.

The Wilds (2020)
DaniBl -1 points 3 years ago.

Interesting enough, though their backstories are kinda boring. Wish they would focus more on the here and now.

Tenet (2020)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

Finally a watchable version! The film is confusing af though. I’ll have to watch it a few more times at least just to get all the facts.

Deep Impact (1998)
DaniBl 5 points 3 years ago.

Just watched it for idk which time. Such a good movie and still holds up 22 years later. 10/10

Greenland (2020)
DaniBl 5 points 3 years ago.

Very good. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s what 2012 should have been but failed to deliver. 4,5/5

Carmel: ¿Quién mató a María Marta? (2020)
DaniBl 0 points 3 years ago.

What a bizarre case. Her family are, sorry to say, extremely stupid and deserved to have been prosecuted just for their stupidity. Who does what they did? Who can blame the prosecutor for not believing them? What a bunch of idiots, man…

The World's End (2013)
DaniBl 3 points 3 years ago.

This and Shaun of the Dead are Simon Pegg’s best films! I must have watched it at least 5 times.

The Sister (2020)
DaniBl 2 points 3 years ago.

I normally love Bertie’s acting (e.g. in Doctor Foster), but in this one he has a really weird tone of voice…like a villain in children’s fairy tales. It just doesn’t work in a modern setting imo. Other than that, the series is pretty good.

Wireless (2020)
DaniBl 3 points 3 years ago.

Another 8-9 minutes long series? WTF??? Does anyone actually like that? This is so lame.

Life (2020)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

Brits really do make the best TV drama. It’s so well done and the acting is top notch. 9/10

Ennemi Public (2016)
DaniBl 2 points 3 years ago.

I’ve noticed this show in recently added ones, but there are links only for the first two episodes of season 1…are the rest being uploaded or there just aren’t any?

Vampires vs. the Bronx (2020)
DaniBl 2 points 3 years ago.

Not bad. Just don’t expect a horror movie…it’s a comedy first and foremost.

Criminal: UK (2019)
DaniBl 2 points 3 years ago*.

Great TV series. You would think a series about interrogation would be boring, but it is far from boring. Great acting by great cast, some of them well known…David Tennant, Hayley Atwell, Kit Harrington, Sophie Okonedo, the guy from the Big Bang Theory, Sharon Horgan etc. 5/5

Des (2020)
DaniBl 6 points 3 years ago.

Great first episode and remarkable acting by David Tennant.

All Creatures Great and Small (2020)
DaniBl 7 points 3 years ago.

Lovely is the best word to describe this TV series. Great scenery and cute animals, plus lovable characters.

Historia de un crimen: La Búsqueda (2020)
DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

I’m watching the first episode, and while it seems interesting so far I have to say the music/soundtrack is totally ruining it. The series is about a little girl who went missing, but the music is like something you’d hear in one of those shitty teen Mexican soap operas…perfect example of how much the music can change the mood of a whole movie/TV series.

Tehran (2020)
DaniBl 4 points 3 years ago.

The first episode was pretty good. Gonna binge watch it this weekend. 4/5

Make Me Famous (2020)
UGuess 1 points 3 years ago.

Thanks..I was looking for my love island fix literally yesterday. I’ll check it out

DaniBl 1 points 3 years ago.

You’re welcome, but it’s probably not what you expected. It deals with the aftermath of reality TV fame.
