Positively hooked on this show. It can go from whimsical, sound-effects-added-to-batting-eyes scenes, to abject terror, suspense and action - in the blink of an eye. S. Korea does it again.

Good gods below, this was dreadful. As a serious comic fan, I can’t believe I’m going to actually say this: One and done. This iredeemable mess is on par with Velma. Apparently made to annoy everyone, and generate views from that weird internet phenom known as “hate watching”.
Strange at 1:17:34s that Princess Shuri uses the word aks instead of ask. An extremely bad American version of the English word. Not expected from an African, speaking English. Not a great film. I think Disney is spoiling the Marvel universe.
Please explain what Hollywood has to do with this series? If you were not aware, Hollywood is a place in the United States. This is a british tv series, based on a novel.
This has to be the best episode of all of the seasons. It really has a few scenes that you kind of want to wipe off your memory, but other than that… And you definitely will know what I’m talking about when you see it.. the episode was fantastic. Tell you the truth I think that they could get a spin-off of this episode and they would do great.
The reference made to Lost Boys, rammed it home what kind of film it’s supposed to be - that is, one that does not take itself seriously at all. Well done.
Prey was fantastic. Anoyne bummed out on the franchise after the more middling entries of late, should give it a shot. Easily the best Predator film since Arnie’s first entry, it starts off a bit slow and continues to build from there, with a likable protagonist who you end up rooting for (unlike, say, The Predator from 2018 where one roots for the Predator). Multiple callbacks to the first two films, were a nice treat as well.
Going to be interesting to see how this plays out given the onslaught of legal issues Miller is accumulating.
I’m expecting DC to just introduce the other Flash, Wally West, as their main one later.
No more Barry Allen.
Jason Momoa’s character gets called “Conan” in this ep - years before he would actually play that role.
The Bel-Air reimagining… is better than I expected. I mean, I expected a dumpster fire, but it’s rather compelling. Just weird having Carlton be so adversial and antagonistic right out the gate.
I don’t understand the high rating, this takes place in the early 1800. at about 1:05:39, there’s a guy with a bottle of coca cola and a pack of Marlboro cigarettes
Anachronisms happen. Do we look at Ridley Scott’s Gladiator as a terrible film, because we see sunglasses, and lycra shorts? (amid at least 50 other things wrong with it’s depiction of the era)
Nah. We employ suspension of disbelief, and just enjoy =)
Blood Drive was my intro to Richson. Loved that show, it was SO over the top. Just a wild ride literally. Definitely a tribute to the grindhouse movie genre. I was not happy it got canceled.
Blue Mountain State was mine - and you need to see it if you haven’t =)
Ritchson’s casting in this has made it so clear why Tom Cruise as Reacher was absurd. A main part of Reacher in the books was his intimidation factor - now Ritchson is, by all accounts, an affable and very funny guy - but no one would want a dude looking like that giving them a withering stare. No matter how good an actor Cruise might be, he’s going to be looking like an upset Chihuahua trying the same.
damn haven’t seen the main star of the show in years since that old college football comedy show Blue Mountain State
He’s been very active since, from being a Ninja Turtle to Titans to having his own post apocalyptic death race style show, Blood Drive - which was so much better than it had any right to be.
Easily on par with Train to Busan. The first episode gives us an introduction, and from there on out, it mostly holds an amazing pace for the next 11 hours. When it comes to the very defining films and shows of the zombie genre, South Korea is leading the way, bar none. Nothing from the US or UK comes close.
Fantastic little film, keeps you guessing - especially as everyone in the film is straight up a terrible person. No heroes here, just villains!
AAAAARGHHHH! I knew it was going to end like this. Bad writters write badly. I hoped for more but to find a good series today is so hard. There are thousands of shows running simultaneously and to find one that is ok should be piece of cake but all there is a piece of Crap!
For some reason, I thought the prior episode was a season finale, what with the soap opera-esque cliffhanger added on. Glad it’s back after justa short christmas hiatus!
Thank you, exactly the kind of review I needed to know that I’ll wait a bit longer.
Absolutely fantastic! Farcical, satirical, equal parts timely and relevant yet at the same time far fetched - this is one for my forever collection.
This kinda feels like someone read the IMDB page for the first 3 movies, didn’t understand how all the characters fit into the story, but knew it’s about zombies.
Other way around. The first films looked at a synopsis of the videogame series it’s based on, and tossed it all aside to just use character names and make a schlock fest. This film, corrects that, mixing together the plots from the first two games in the series.
Considering that the QAnon cult is a subject matter where the jokes pretty much write themselves, this should be good.
Watched the 4 episodes shown for this series so far and its kinda creepy especially since I checked it out and the town actually has had a lot of attention in the news for exactly what they are showing here. So, do I think its a big foot? I think some things they were experiencing can be explained away. But, not entirely.
Boring as can be and made specifically for the gullible, it’s trite nonsense.
Good finale, I enjoyed the plenty o action and I think 6 was the right amount of episodes. I will binge this again sometime next year, and there is a mid credit scene you might enjoy - or find disappointing…
I feel like that mid credits scene was just someone having a laugh. After credits are expected in Marvel films, and I guess they slapped that in to scratch that itch and have a bit of fun at the viewers expense =) Subvert the expectations and all that
The season finale delivered. Thrills! Chills! Spills! And an open ending to boot! Just fantastically done, well paced and left us wanting more.
10/10
I was getting a bit of motion sickness from those body camera scenes. I had to look away a few times because of the jerking and bouncing of the camera. Good episode though.
especially the quick cut to a gun cam … and then back to normal, and then bodycams again - just too much.
Like the show, but the random episodes using experimental camera shots are rather jarring
They have not slacked off in terms of writing for this show…It’s as good as it ever was…It’s the writing and Michael C Hall that makes this show what it is…Fantastic!
Well, one could say they did slack off after the 4th season of the original run, and it went downhill from there - but this new one is a return to that glorious form!
And it continues on strong, fantastic episode! That bridge scene… damn!
From a minor Deadpool villain side character, to getting his own tv show - Marvel knows how to make the obscure characters work on screen.
I think they were going more for the John Russo “Return of the Living Dead” series vibe, than the, Romero “Night of the living Dead” series vibe.
By name recognition, I’m talking about the film “Day Of The Dead” by Romero. https://www.primewire.ag/movie/197196-watch-day-of-the-dead
It cashes in on name recognition, but anyone looking for something similar to Romero’s masterpiece will be sorely disappointed.
Not even a western fan, and this kept my attention from start to finish. Fantastic little film
This show confuses me with its setting. The fact they don’t like female wrestlers, the crappy indie world where there doesn’t seem to be a “WWE” around even though they talk about the legends of wrestling. I guess FWD is like WWE, but it’s really not. All this ancient crap, yet the vehicles are modern and they have smartphones. Lastly, it really feels like “Arrow joins pro wrestling”. Stephen is a terrible actor, can’t keep his hillbilly accent going and has to do the same old “my way or the highway character”, “I’m doing this for the greater good”, “I’m gonna treat you like shit and abuse you, but then weakly apologize and expect you to accept it”. Still interesting to watch, but it’s comparable to no other wrestling drama except the movie starring rourke.
When they talk about the big promotion up north, and Connecticut, where Wild Bill gets fired from, and previously tried to recruit Ace Spade to - that’s the stand in for the WWE. The show even had him replicate a Ric Flair incident on the plane, but in this show that gets someone fired from “the big company”.
The film is okay, I guess. But what I don’t understand is the main thing. How did he go back to 65 millions years ago? Unknowingly/accidentally time travelled? 🤔🤔🤔
There was no time travel involved at all. He’s not from Earth - the premise is basically these aliens visited earth 65 million years ago.
