Episode 3 changed my mind. I’ll be watching the rest of it.

I read these books a long time ago. The first one was so creepy that I could only read it during the day. I still remember how beautifully the old house was described and how devilish Lasher. Very curious to see how he is portrayed. Highly recommend this series if it is half as good as the books.

I didn’t know why you referenced that line & watched the 1st epi then understood why lol. She is a great actor. Loved the 1st epi too, it was very well done (see my review on the main page).

So many layers to this episode. It keeps getting better. From laughing at Elly’s remarks about the pages to worry when they’re awakened. . .

Spice is a little too ‘sugary’ for me (see what I did there? lol). I like them fine but I much prefer far more spice than she offers. Ya know the saying - the darker the berry, the sweeter the juice lol.

Excellent. I’m planning on it. I do love Anne Rice & have read the vamp chronicles & Cry To Heaven which I loved. I own a bunch of others including the 1st book of the Mayfair books but have yet to read them. I think I even tried reading it but I found Anne to get FAR too into unnecessary descriptions. I kind of lost interest in her writing in the last vamp book when Lestat meets Memnoch the devil & tours hell. Anne goes on & on endlessly w/descriptions of the surroundings of hell. I just found myself skipping over whole chapters since they were mainly describing sections of hell. Ugh! lol.

Just re-reading this thread & it made me literally laugh out loud.

This show reminds me of Route 66 only hilarious.
Yeah, yeah. I’m showing my age. It used to be a great show, though.

You can’t go wrong with horror legend and rock star Sir Christopher Lee. Add in Elvira, and it’s triple the fun. ;) Merry Imbolc and Happy Candlemas.

It was nice to see Natasha Lyonne reunited with Dascha Polanco (OITNB) and Noah Segan (“All About Evil”). Adrien Brody was perfectly cast. Benjamin Bratt was great too. And did I see the guy from “Adult Swim Yule Log”? Or am I mistaken? Great start to a new show!

Lyonne also had a prominent role in this, as did the actress who played Natalie.

This looks funnier than ‘The Righteous Gemstones’. TRG got pretty dark but has a top notch cast.

A funny and scathing depiction of some of the extreme religious types. Worth a watch.

The series started out kind of bland, but it grows on you. Not earth shaking or ground breaking, but not bad. The cast has chemistry.

Original Hellraiser has been on my list for a long time. Not sure why I can’t seem to get myself to watch it though. I guess there’s just too many other things I’d much rather watch lol.

The funniest line was “Boobs touch, no crotch”. Not a terrible episode.

Oh yes I knew about Mik trying for the role. It would’ve been awesome. I’ve yet to see the remake or even the original lol. I’ll check out that tutorial. Surprised you could post that!

Oh yea that Hellraiser look was mesmerizing. She could hardly move in it though lol. She was amazing on her season. Love her.

You’d think the queens would learn to avoid doing social media influencers from watching previous seasons of snatch game. They rarely work out. Gottmik’s Paris Hilton was one of those rarities.

LOL a lot of snatch! I thought Rosie was decent but no comparison to Joan Rivers who was hysterical. It was inevitable Sugar/Spice were going to lip sync against one another. Production would be stupid to pass up that opportunity lol.

It felt like a rehashing of “That 70s Show” with less likable characters. I’ll give it one more episode, but so far. . . meh.

That’s the funniest episode I’ve seen in a while.

Interesting take on the story behind Velma and the Mystery Gang. Not sure how well the series will turn out, based on this episode. It has it’s moments, but there’s also quite a bit of lag. And for a “grown up” version, it’s awful tame.
