Good first ep!

Off to a good start. Sam Spade in 1963 France.

Not funny, just a silly waste of time. Disappointing.

This is supposedly the first film written/directed/produced by Ben Affleck back when he was a student.
With a title like that, I was expecting it to be at least a little funny. It wasn’t.
After watching this piece of crap, it’s amazing to think that he co-wrote Good Will Hunting only a few years later. Musta had some damned good teachers in that time in between.

Blah.

The first two eps were fairly boring and stereotype filled examples of yet another one of those Brit whitebread suburban family mysteries—except they threw in a little minor witchcrafty stuff in this one to make it a little different from all the other stories just like it.
And like all the others, they tossed in a tease at the end of each ep to keep us sucked in, hoping to keep us watching.

I have a bad feeling that this will end up just being another one of those shows that will go on and on like this till the end, always promising (but never actually delivering) that it will finally turn into something worth watching.

yes I’m going to check that one out next. Is it just as good?

I like this z movie. The soundtrack is killer. Metallica, Early Van Halen and I’m only 30 mins in I should have watched this a long time ago

Well, it’s one of the few movies where everyone looking so young and perfect actually worked with the plot. Gotta give them a li’l plus there. Good, tiny sets. Acting was a bit meh.

I can’t really comment on the plot, though. I fell asleep about 40 minutes in or so. 😬

Not sure if that was boredom (it did get a little slow) or just me being an old fart.

I really wish writers would leave the silly, corny stupid shows silly, corny and stupid. I am not 7 - 8 episodes deep into this show to learn a lifes lesson or express my sensitive side. Just stick with the formula that started the show. THERES NO CRYING IN BOUNTY HUNTING!!

This is one of those shows that will make you wanna kick yourself for watching the whole thing, hoping it will get better, all the while cussing the stupid (irritatingly so) ppl doing stupid stuff on your screen.
Sloppy, lazy writing, producing situations that could (and did) only happen in a second rate TV drama.
Pretty scenery though—who doesn’t love an occasional desert island setting?

This would probably been great if it had subtitles for the Japanese. Too many parts where I have no clue as to whats even going on. Ill have to wait to see later if episodes are put up with subs in them.

What’s the deal with producers refusing to hard-code subtitle their own productions? No one should have to hunt down subs one way or another. We’re not paid by the studio to work for them. They should sub their own stuff. Sheesh to all that. And since we don’t stream, Subscene, here we come. Dammit.

Nice flashback flick to help start the new year.

They’re calling it a comedy but it’s more of a mystery with quirky, oddball characters adding a comedic element. Gets more and more bizarre (and fun) as it goes on.
Entertaining half hour eps, worth the watch.

*Subs out on the net that are branded ‘MALAY’ are for a different show altogether.
Subscene has some good subs that have all 8 eps in one zip file.

it’s still a dangerous sport with the risks they take on stunts. Case in point Owen Hart died falling to his death when equipment failed him while performing in Kansas City Missouri

Decent story but way too long. They could have trimmed 20-30 min. off just cutting out fluff and had had a much better flick.
Could be great for watching if you’re knitting a sweater too. Or sorting a LOT of socks.

That’s a great gig. Probably voiced all his lines in a single day and was cut a fat check. You see more and more well known actors getting in on doing parts in animated movies now.

This is great. It’s another one of the many comedy series Chuck Lorre has made except this time he gets to write big boy scripts for the audience on HBO.

Whew! I’m relieved to hear the honeybear’s OK.

Song #2 was a fun surprise. Even if you don’t usually watch SNL, that one was worth skipping over to and checking out. It starts at around 54:00 or 56:00 or so.

A watchable adventure-fantasy involving a magic statue; not a si-fi.
Not actually a comedy as listed either—just has an irritating sidekick in it who plays the idiot but otherwise it’s a straight drama.
Well made but def. needs subs— they switch back and forth between English and Tswana.
Subs are avail. on VLC, Opensubtitles and Subscene if they haven’t shown up here yet.

That’s one point of view and not one that I share. Look at how they screwed Bernie over. They tell us that our vote counts, but a candidate that loses by millions in the popular vote can still be president. I do vote still, but only in local elections. IMO, the rest of it is a farce.
