Epic! Damn!

I liked this one, it exceeded my expectations.

One is a god and the other a king. IT shouldn’t have been a debate in the first place :-)

H.P. Lovecraft has been responsible for influencing a LOT of modern day Horror genre authors as well as Movie Directors (Guillermo Del Torro and his “Hellboy” movies are a great example). I absolutely recommend reading his stories (keep in mind though, it may take a bit of getting used to with his writing style since he wrote them all back in the 1930ies era) as well as the many anthology/omnibus’ which are comprised of H.P. Lovecraft themed modern day short stories by authors who are both famous and up and coming.
Another thing too…it’s unfortunate that a lot of H.P. Lovecraft movies made from his short stories are just plain gawd awful and a waste of time…what the fans need is a Director/Directors who will take an H.P. story and faithful adapt it for the big screen on streaming platform. A few that I can honestly recommend to watch? “The Re-Animator” is a fun, campy movie and my favorite is definitely the movie “From Beyond”.

This film is such a fun watch, it has a great cast and the animation is well done. Fun fun fun … worthy of many re-watches.

Enjoyed this movie. A new take on “Thor” that is quite the opposite of Marvel. Was a bit slow but still a good watch. Read online the director is planning a sequel, and that there are 3 books. I’m here for it.

Wow! Robert Duvall seems intimidating! No bs kind of guy, man of a few words.

This is comedy gold IMO. Don’t know exactly what people have against Tom, what he does or doesn’t in his private life is his business, he’s a very good actor (I find all his characters convincing. and his face expressions kill me).

This was phenomenal. If you like a good story with good character development and some pulling of your heart strings, this is for you.

I loved it too. Great dynamics and a really good cast. Very different but awesome. I hope Brit and Zal have not been too disgusted with tv and they’ll be doing something else soon.

If you like the OA and The East you have to watch Sound of My Voice. It’s a mind trip!

Loved it, even made me cry at some point!

If you like it, you might also like a movie that the creators of OA made awhile back, which also stars Brit Marling, with Alexander Skaarsgard and Ellen Page, called The East.

It’s such a great show. It’s unfortunate it was on netflix and they turned their back to it fo a 3rd and final season. I think of shows on netflix like shows on fox, usually short lived.

It was an enjoyable watch (so yeah, go for it) but it didn’t live up to what it could have been. Almost everything about it said ‘great flick’ but the writing just wasn’t quite up there with the rest of it. 5.8/10
