do not be fooled by the title, this was a pretty damn good entertaining movie. i love these weird ass low budget movies and if it weren’t for the other users comment i probably would have still been sleeping on this one, so thank you for that.

firedove10 2 points 4 years ago.

you’re welcome. btw, I commented on the film after I watched it lol. It was kind of funny, especially towards the end when he shits out the dog LOL

Fight Club (1999)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

His name is Robert Paulson… his name is Robert Paulson…

Cult classic action flick with a total mind altering twist ending. This film is not only worth a watch but it’s worth buying and adding it to your own private movie collection too. Watch it, buy it, and give a big hug to the man with breasts. Enjoy! 10/5 .

Donnie Darko (2001)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

This movie is a total mind f*. Honestly, the producers must have been tripping on acid when creating this film LOL. I rather enjoyed it. The whole concept of time travel combined with that creepy bunny makes for some interestingly good watch time. It’s worth the watch, 5/5

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago*.

If you’ve never heard of White Castle before watching this film, not only will you learn about it, but you’ll get the “cravings”. Those cravings are no joke. So Harold & Kumar driving all that way and going through what they went through just to savor those juicy, mini-burgers is pretty relatable. This movie is really funny, but make sure you have some White Castle burgers handy because you will get the munchies watching this film. You’ve been warned. LOL 5/5

Knives Out (2019)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

WOW. This was a fun movie. If you’re into Agatha Christie-like stories then you’ll really enjoy this gem. Knives Out is a combination of comedy & mystery. I really enjoyed it, I hope you do too. 10/5 rating.

The Invisible Man (2020)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

This was a pretty good movie. I rather enjoyed it. Probably one of the best psychological horror movies this year, so far. And it’s a great spin on the H.G. Wells Classic. 5/5

Parasite (2019)
firedove10 3 points 4 years ago.

WOW. This movie was really good. I can see why it won “Best Picture”. This movie kept me on the edge of my feet. It went from funny to suspenseful. What a brilliant film! I really enjoyed it. 5/5 Hands down.

Code 8 (2019)

Underwater (2020)
Suspiria (2018)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

I thought this was a very interesting and fresh take on the classic 1977 film. In-fact, I feel this version is even better than the classic. I know a lot of purists are going to hate me for it, but I’m not knocking the classic by saying this film is better. It is. It’s darker, more in-depth and much more disturbing. This film also took the story to a place the classic didn’t, which made it even more intense. They didn’t need a continuous soundtrack of screaming women to make this film horrifying. The story did that itself. Hats off to the writers for making this film. And thanks to Amazon for producing it. I watched this on Prime, if you’re wondering. These links tend to be hit or miss; so if you have Prime video, then watch it there. Other than that, this film is worth a watch. One of my favorite witch films. 5/5

Suspiria (2018)
Ino -1 points 5 years ago.

most of the movie is in german………. there arent any subtitles -_-

firedove10 -2 points 4 years ago.

you want watch the movie with subtitles through Prime video…. that is if you have an account. I believe it is an Amazon featured film too.

Kiss of the Damned (2013)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

This is a great vampire romance film. It’s not really horrifying as far as jump-scares and edge-of-your-seat thrills; so if you’re looking for something that is all those things, watch something else. Other than that, if you are a lover for vampires, then take a bite out of this sexy flick. It’s hot, suspenseful, packed with great content, and it will sure get your blood moving. It’s a wonderful film with characters you can care about. It’s worth the watch. 5/5

Rigor Mortis (2013)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

This was a fantastic chinese horror flick. I loved the combination of the ghosts haunting the apartment, combined with the exorcists (shamans) along with the vampire. This is one vampire you don’t want hanging around your hallway. Very action-packed and easy to follow. I loved how they made it very culturally theirs when explaining the chinese customs and folklore in the vampire-making process. Very good movie. Well worth the watch. 5/5

Shin Godzilla (2016)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

Probably one of the best Godzilla films released by TOHO. Well worth the watch. I really enjoyed watching the politicians fight over everything. “Oh, there is no chance this creature will make landfall”… next scene: Baby Godzilla is knocking down buildings as he crawls around a city. Comical! Fun movie; Godzilla is really kick-ass in this film. the ultimate being created for total destruction, and boy does he deliver. This film is well worth the watch if you are a seasoned Godzilla fan or just getting into the franchise. It’s a fresh take on the classic 50s film. 6/5 rating from me.

The Wailing (2016)
firedove10 3 points 4 years ago.

This was actually a really good supernatural Korean horror flick. Well worth the watch. 5/5

Dracula Reborn (2015)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago.

Bad acting, bad vampire effects, the story was whatever… overall not a good movie at all. 1/5

Night of the Twisters (1996)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago.

Well, before “Twister” was released, this was the best tornado film of the 90s. It’s still great, even though the tornado effects can’t compare to a big budget film. It’s still a gem of the 90s. worth a watch if you’ve never seen it. 5/5

Death Note: Light Up the New World (2016)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

Interesting sequel to the popular anime series. Loved the anime, hated the Netflix movie. Can’t wait to see this.

The Six Million Dollar Man (1973)
firedove10 2 points 4 years ago.

Classic science fiction film from the 70s. It’s a great adaptation of “Cyborg” by Martin Caidin. Not to mention this film triggered a TV show and a TV spinoff, The Bionic Woman. This film is a classic gem. A must watch if you love classic films. Enjoy! 5/5

The Borrowers (1998)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

Great family film. I enjoyed watching this growing up.

Vampire Bats (2005)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago.

I believe I’ve seen this on the Sci-Fi channel once over a decade ago. Recently saw it again. No wonder I forgot it. The movie is kind of blah… so many cliches in this film. 1/5

Microwave Massacre (1983)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago.

I think I’m done watching these cheesy 80s goreporn flicks.

Midsommar (2019)
Skyehawk -2 points 4 years ago.

Thank you for that information. I saw a review of the film recently and it had subtitles so I thought the movie would too.

firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago.

There are parts that did have subtitles and others that didn’t… again, its deliberately done for the sake of suspense.

Midsommar (2019)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago*.

This film started out slow. When the craziness starts it’s pretty shocking and in your face at first… then everything else just builds up from there; one crazy thing after another. One thing is for sure, don’t mess with cults in the Swedish mountains. As far as horror, this film is a horror in it’s own right; it’s weird, creepy, and violently shocking at times. It’s a really f-ed up film, to say the least. I enjoyed it, though. Really worth the watch. 5/5

The Night Flier (1997)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

Such an awesome classic. Love Stephen Kings stories. The ending gets me every time.

Geostorm (2017)
firedove10 2 points 4 years ago.

It was an OK movie. The idea that mankind can control the weather is laughable at best, so this film basically asks “what can go wrong?” Well, a lot. There is so much wrong with this film I don’t even know where to start. If anybody knows anything about how the weather works knows first and foremost a tsunami is not an act of weather; so there is one. But anyway, the film did have great special effects and an OK story, though somewhat predictable. It could have been better if the producers just did not make this film altogether. anyway, 2/5 rating from me.

The Endless (2018)
firedove10 4 points 4 years ago.

This film is all kinds of crazy. It’s a top tier cosmic horror film that will mess with your mind. This film proves that you only need a simple premises to go off of to get a story going. No need for jump scares, those get boring and cliche after a while. This film does it right. So if you’re looking for a film that will make you jump…. you won’t find it here. This is one of those slow-burn gems. I highly recommend The Endless. It’s a great film. 5/5

Get Out (2017)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

Crazy film. Worth a watch for sure. 5/5

Cats (2019)

Stick with the play. Go see it live in NYC. The movie was kaka

Charlie's Angels (2019)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

Too “woke” to enjoy. Woke film tend to be trah, and this film was no different. I would rather watch Barnie than this nonsense again. 1/5

Charlie's Angels (2019)
darklighter1 1 points 4 years ago.

Man is this movie gonna flop. Look out Terminator you got competition.

firedove10 -3 points 4 years ago.

Terminator was a much better film and did better than this.

Eli (2019)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

That nding is truly unexpected. Crazy story about a boy with a condition that doesn’t allow him to go outside. On top of zll that, the facility he’s sent to for treatment is haunted. 5/5

The Return of the Living Dead (1985)
firedove10 6 points 4 years ago.

“BRAINS!!!!!” A zombie horror that wants to be a comedy. Classic 80s zombie flick. If you are a fan of zombies, then you will love this film. It’s worth adding to your collection. Dan O/Bannon did a really great job with this film. It’s fun, funny, edgy at times, sexy, and full of brain eating zombies. IT’S PARTY TIME!

Hereditary (2018)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

This film is all kinds of f*ed up. WOW. Beyond weird and creepy. This goes on the list of top 10 horror films of the 21st century for sure. It started out ok, but then the shit hit the fan when the girl lost her head…. literally. Poor mom, lost her head too. The older brother, well…. he sort of gets an odd upgrade in life. this movie is all kinds of crazy.

I liked it though. I may not watch it again lol 5/5

Death Becomes Her (1992)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago*.

i wouldn’t necessarily put this in the Horror Category… more on the drama comedy side. This is a classic piece from the 90s. A must watch for sure. It has its funny moments full of gag humor. Imagine when two girls who can’t die have a cat-fight…what can go wrong, right? “Siempre viva, live forever!”

Event Horizon (1997)
firedove10 3 points 4 years ago.

Multidimensional space horror. Full of body horror moments and supernatural suspense. Image a haunted spaceship that has a one-way portal to hell itself. Enjoy! 5/5

A Quiet Place (2018)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

Such a good horror film. Great writing and plot. I look forward to seeing part 2 next year. 5/5

The Stuff (1985)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago*.

Gross, gross, and gross. . WARNING: don’t eat anything while watching this film. Good film, though. Classic 80s slow burn horror.

The Thing (1982)
firedove10 2 points 4 years ago.

This horror cult classic is guaranteed to freak you out. It’s gross, bloody, and full of intense horror. Not all good horror is full of jump scares; the best ones tend to be slow burns ;)

Tremors (1990)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

This was a film I enjoyed through my childhood. It never gets old; it’s still good today as it was back in 1990. Kevin Back is a sexy beast. lol

The Shining (1980)
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

A really awesome horror film; though not a loyal adaptation of the book. But, Stanley Kubrick is a legend for a reason. It’s an enjoyable horror classic. Minus the lack of source loyalty, it’s really good and scary. 5/5

Zombieworld (2017)
firedove10 -1 points 4 years ago.

Is this supposed to be a rip-off of Zombieworld or something?

Ford v Ferrari (2019)
Ditzygypsy 0 points 4 years ago.

I thought Rush was great, too, and I didn’t care for Daniel Brühl until I watched him in that. They both did a good job, but he was fantastic. I’m not a race fan, but I love biopics.

firedove10 -3 points 4 years ago.

honestly, one of the only race films that I really liked.

Ford v Ferrari (2019)
Jhigh03 -4 points 4 years ago.

really looking foward to seeing this but I’m gonna wait on a better copy. If you liked this, true stories and asshole characters then you should check out Rush a F1 biopic about Niki Lauda and James Hunt and has terrific acting all around.

firedove10 -2 points 4 years ago.

It’s worth waiting for the bluray to come out. I know I’ll be buying it and I sawit in theaters. :)

Ford v Ferrari (2019)
firedove10 1 points 4 years ago.

Saw this in theaters. This was an amazing film. What a fun ride… literally speaking. I laughed my butt off when Mr. Ford rode in the GT40 for the first time and was crying by the end of the ride. My bosses took me out to see the film, and when we came to that scene I was like “OMG that’s totally me…” because they love sports cars and love driving fast and i scream every time I ride with them lol. I really had fun watching the Le Mans part of the film. So intense.

Ad Astra (2019)
[removed by a moderator]
firedove10 0 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Even the ending got you guessing whether or not he did find them or not. There is a sequence in the film where you see a moving light approach the father’s ship at a point. So…. maybe he did. But Brad’s character just wanted to bring his dad home and didn’t care if he found alien life or not. It was still a truly touching film.

Ad Astra (2019)
joeinwb -6 points 4 years ago.

many people agree with me, this movie was to slow and boring. Very little actually happened.

firedove10 0 points 4 years ago.

Then maybe this movie was too intellectual for you? I don’t know what you were expecting with this film, but I’m sorry you’re disappointed. Most people who’ve seen this film thought it was wonderful and thoughtful; it got audience on the edge of our seats at times and got us thinking and wondering what was going to happen next. While some, were somehow expecting something else with this film and were disappointed in it’s slow performance. Again, a slow, hardcore science fiction film is NOT for everybody. Cheers.
