I find it hard to believe that there aren’t any comments about this yet. I’m not usually the dramatic type, more so the horror, sci fi, and fantasy type. And history was never one of my favs. And although this series starts off as fantasy it merges into primarily drama and history. But the characters are written in such a way that you find yourself drawn to them to a point of wishing you there with them. The actors do such an awesome job that it becomes hard to believe they’re acting at all. It starts off a bit slow but do yourself a favor and watch the first five episodes before you decide.If you watch the 6th…you’re hooked! BEWARE THOUGH THIS IS NOT A SHOW FOR CHILDREN. THE SEX SCENES CAN GET PRETTY EXPLICIT AND THE SHOW DOES CONTAIN SOME GRAPHIC VIOLENCE
