As all David O. Russell pictures, this one is thoroughly entertaining and well-done.

Following the tragic death of Phil Hartman, his character Phil O’neil, was (obviously) killed off, as well. This episode introduces Jon Lovitz as Max Louis (though I think its actually Lewis) about to watch this episode, so heres hoping Lovitz (who is usually funny) is good in this
He filled a spot adequately, but he was no Phil Hartman. Jon Lovitz will always be “The Critic” to me (another show from that era worth revisiting).
Sofia Coppola’s first major short film, with everything you’d expect.
OK, guys, I put the rest of the links up earlier, but there were a few episodes in seasons 1 and 4 that I just couldn’t find available. Sorry about that.
thanks for doing the work. i had totally forgotten this show ever existed until it popped up here. like the op, i saw there were no links and i got to go down a lovely, nostalgic internet rabbit hole. duckman leading, of course, to youtube suggesting other shows, which were memories of my youth…and 3 hours later. :)
I used to relish this show as a teenager when it was airing. Jason Alexander was born to voice this cartoon- for me, it’s as inexorably linked to him as George Costanza on Seinfeld. And Dweezil Zappa (Frank Zappa’s son, natch) playing Duckman’s fat, laid-back son, as well as composing the theme song, is just a genius choice.
I always forget that binge-watching a show can bring you dangerously close to hating every single character on it…time for a break.
This was rather dreary, gray and dark most of the time. Few likeable characters but overall the majority of the time, it was very depressing! I just felt disappointed. Good for a one time watch I suppose. There was some good costumes and scenery.
You hit the nail on the head. This series seems to me like a salacious, lowbrow version of a period piece. And Cynthia Nixon’s character made me very angry.
In 2011 there was a big push to revive this. First in DC comic-graphic novel form for the 3rd season, then also as a kickstarter funded mini or film that would wrap up the series properly. Although the comic was heavily promoted, DC mothballed the publishing. No word on the kickstarter film or mini. They wanted more than 10 million though.
What a shocker - another thing we have in common, loving those Fuller shows! I love Pushing Daisies, but my true love will always be Wonderfalls. Luscious Lee Pace is in that one too. (fanning myself as I scroll through his Instagram photos, incidentally…)
An outstanding independent film of the ‘90s by a talented director which features Lili Taylor and River Phoenix when they were both fresh-faced ingenues. The script, acting and direction come together beautifully.
This will be a nice change from the entitled, wealthy characters in HBO’s recent crime shows.
Good start…excellent acting, dark and gritty atmosphere, dysfunctionality predominates. The great Kate Winslet brings a grounded honesty. Looking very forward to its progression.
I dont know if shes a hero or a villain
she is certainly magnificent ;)
also barbara - https://www.primewire.tf/movie/288626-barbara came out around the same time as Lore (but about east/west germany). Thank you so much for uploading! I sent the link to friends and family but now they wont let me watch in until we see it in the cinema. a significant film everyone should see. i did sneak the first 20 minutes and it reminded me of an interview with a survivor talking about the complicity of the people in the surrounding villages saying ‘how could they not smell’.
Barbara is a wonderful film! As is A Woman in Berlin https://www.primewire.tf/movie/62445-a-woman-in-berlin
And I will say this again as I have on other comment sections. THE Mods need to stop taking sides and keep this a comment on the movie/show only.
I come here to find out how the show is not to read lectures on the opinions of the right or the left!!! And not one comment here is anything but a right/left fight.
A crazy, disjointed “film”, but notable as it is some of the only comprehensive footage of Edie Sedgwick over time; it should be watched as a documentary, not a narrative film.
Also- toward the end, she allows them to film her having 1960s-era shock treatment.
Before you believe everything in this documentary, you should read what Moses Farrow has to say. Google “A SON SPEAKS OUT By Moses Farrow”
Read it. Still convinced that he had an inappropriate relationship with his small child and that he is a bona fide POS. But I will add that I think Mia may have had good intentions at first, but she is awful also. And if anyone thinks Ronan is Woody’s biological child, all they have to do is compare a photo of him and Frank Sinatra to discover where his DNA originates.
Well if an audience participant enjoyed the character “Mr Clean” in pulp fiction then they just may like Jean in Spotless.
I am really looking forward to watching this - hope there are some links soon. It is such a paradigm to imagine how this type of world could exist. But it did.
Until this becomes available, a very similar film that will blow your mind (if you haven’t yet seen it) is Lore (https://www.primewire.tf/movie/1247667-lore ).
Anyone remember those stupid potato chips they came out with in the 90’s? They were like the biggest supermarket ticket item at the time because they had some special chemical in them that made them fat free and calorie free so supermarkets couldn’t keep them on the shelves. There was this craze for these stupid chips….until… it was like this mass exodus of people who came forward complaining that the chips were causing ANAL LEAKAGE of all things. It was huge news at the time because so many people had hoarded these things like it was 2020 and the apocalypse was coming, then all of a sudden there were baby diaper explosions going on all over the country. Anyone else remember this happening? Know the brand of chips?
Her talking about the “leakage issues” she was having reminded me of that story. Not mentioning this to put her down in any way whatsoever, because I do find her pretty brave to even mention something that personal on national tv like that (especially on a channel known to find people like her so they can make fun of them).
yeah it was because of this disgusting additive called olestra.
This 5th season is stellar. We adore the anthology approach; it keeps it fresh. As for this season, Juno Temple is shining so brightly it is nearly blinding. She really is a terrific actor. Gosh, she’s been in so many diverse roles, and now this. Although, this whole “series” has a stellar cast. This has been so much fun, I know we’ll binge on it again. Thanks for your comment!
I’ve been a Juno fan ever since 2010’s Kaboom. If you want to see an awesome Juno performance, see “Magic Magic” https://www.primewire.tf/movie/1188839-magic-magic (also includes a very different Michael Cera role!)
One of the most blisteringly funny animated series ever made, with a selection of the most talented comedians doing voice work.
Didn’t think I was going to like this but it was actually interesting.
what the heck! I think Jennifer looks fabulous for her age, which is my age. If she’s had plastic surgery it was done well because I can’t tell where she has had it if she’s even had it. I totally don’t see what you see.
holy crap. if you can’t see the difference please google her before and after pictures bc you are in the minority. Yes, she would be a gorgeous woman who looks fabulous for and despite her age, but she ruined that by butchering her poor face, which never needed the work to begin with. These women who get all this work done in a mad attempt to hide the fact that they are aging (a totally normal and beautiful process) don’t seem to understand that this work simply makes them look vain, desperate and insecure. Look at Frances McDormand. She has not had a lick of work done and she exudes confidence, and that’s sexy.
Good god, Jennifer Jason Leigh destroyed her face for no good reason except vanity. She was so pretty before, even with the aging process these Hollywood actresses are so deathly afraid of. Now her face looks like a crazy mixture of a muppet, the Joker, and a tortoise. That said, this show is enjoyable.
why do you copy/paste reviews from imdb made by other people?
Wow… zyter, you’re right…this dude has been reposting from imdb and making like the comments are originally his…dpk6806 , you have formally been called out.
God bless you and keep you , whoever just uploaded all these episodes…I can’t find these anywhere online, much less on dvd. Thank you!
You haven’t even apologized for your last comment, which is the least I’d expect before taking anything you say seriously. Your nothing but toxicity and anger.
Krl246, don’t pay that half-wit any attention whatsoever. His words and his opinions mean nothing to anyone.
Wheres the link for episode 13?
Episode 11 has been uploaded as episode 13 on every streaming site. They had even done it here, but I reported the mistake and they took the links down. I have no idea why the true episode 13 hasn’t been put up yet.
What about the second 14-month investigation by the New York State Department of Social Services that concluded “No credible evidence was found that [Dylan Farrow] has been abused or maltreated?”
I don’t think that could possibly have been an impartial investigation either. And investigations are botched constantly …not to mention the fact that if you check statistics, you will find that the system that is supposed to help, rescue and protect the children, fails them constantly. It’s been said that a child more or less has to die for the system to take any action. Why are you vehemently defending the schmuck, anyway? Are you a big fan?
The UK version of this show is hilarious. Another show Murica tried to Americanize and completely ruined
Yeah, this was around the same time that MTV made a Stepford version of the UK’s outstanding series “Skins” and flubbed that as well.
Sad that this wasn’t renewed. great fun ride!
No renewal? The networks are tyrannical and must be stopped. It’s time the viewers not the executives voted what stays on and what doesn’t.
Wow. “Amazing” how Amy Schumer keeps getting offers from Netflix to turn her (terrible) standup routine into shows. Clearly little Ms. Schumer is relying heavily on her uncle (Senator Chuck Schumer) to influence the right people at Netflix to keep throwing good money after bad when it comes to not one, not two..but three shows.
Amy Schumer is not…I repeat NOT as funny as she thinks she is..her 5 minutes of fame stemming from the awful movie “Train Wreck” expired years ago, the movies she has been in since bombed big time at the box office and she is about as relevant today as a 5 day old Ham Snadwich left out in the sun.
She needs to finally understand that there are far more intelligent and funnier female commedians out there who are so much more better than she is.
She is incredibly unfunny, obnoxious, and revolting. I think SHE may be paying Netflix to have them air her, lol
Can I watch and reasonably enjoy this without having seen Yellowstone?
Kaley Cuoco is a rubbish actress and horribly annoying with her pitched voice. The character she portrays here is poorly written, nobody can be this stupid/ignorant to their situation (alcoholism).
1st and 2nd episodes kept me interested because i wanted to know the reason to the murder, but i couldn’t keep watching this crap after 3rd episode any more.
Perhaps with a decent cast and a better written script this could have been a gem.
THANK YOU.So glad someone agrees with me. Couldn’t get past the first episode because of the suckage factor of Kaley Cuoco and company. Ugh. Talentless.
You would think they would have figured out they mixed the idioms dark horse with black sheep before they finished shooting. Apparently not.
“A dark horse is a previously less known person or thing that emerges to prominence in a situation, especially in a competition involving multiple rivals, or a contestant that on paper should be unlikely to succeed but yet still might.” They are using it correctly. “Dark horse” is not necessarily a derogatory term, and the main character in this movie saw himself as a dark horse. The film is not centered around his family or himself viewing him as a black sheep…in fact, his parents enabled and coddled him to a degree.
LOL !!! I knew her husband had to be a mental gimp or a gold digger to sleep with her ! LOL
Great early guest starring by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, I definitely saw a little bit of Elaine sass in there.
I am fuming. I can’t believe there’s not going to be a fifth season. It’s been cancelled. What a perfect chemistry of hilarious adults and talented younger actors.
I have only seen one or two things more strange. Needless to say, I love it to pieces.
hilariously non pc i laughed my ass off -british humour unrivalled
if you’re a fan of Jack Whitehall, you will definitely want to try Fresh Meat! https://www.primewire.ag/tv/26520-watch-fresh-meat
Rainbow Harvest - the most elusive and compelling of the went-nowhere-then-dropped-off-the-map ‘80s actresses…I am obsessed with her.
Wow—that ending! Glad it is confirmed to be back for Season 2.
Yep, can’t wait to see my new favorite master self-saboteur back in the saddle when it returns.
Heck yeah. Kaboom, Dirty Girl, Killer Joe, Little Birds, Jack & Diane, Greenberg, Magic Magic, Notes On A Scandal, etc… Afternoon Delight with Hahn… good stuff.
Great list , seen them all. All highly recommended! Killer Joe was INTENSE.
Complete MCU virgin here. Read the encapsulated backstory of these two, and now I am diving into Wandavision, mostly because the premise interests me a lot. If I like its entire run, I may watch the movies.
