this one has wrecked the whole origional nurse chapel/spock love story..I like the show, just think they have trashed spock. seems the writers dont get the vulcan thing at all .. I always liked the whole spock/nurse chapel unrequited love story/angle .. apparently canon means nothing in the new trek shows.. lol.. oh well..

Awful episode. Seems the have a scene ratio of 4 x Emotional random reflection scenes for 1 x Sci-fi/ story based.
What’s up with Kirk meeting someone for the first time other than a 5 x mins video call and suddenly it’s all about sharing deep childhood memories. Pretty people don’t do that……
When will they just make a sci-fi show that’s actually about the genre rather than the same boring emotional reflections shoe horned in every 2 mins with relevance to the story as seems the current norm.

I guess it was too much to hope for another excellent episode like last week. Instead back to business as usual. Even the cliffhanger at the end is not a big surprise. It does not take much to figure out who caught them sleeping and why. My guess is at least it will in the future episodes help more then just the two of them. Help even out the number a bit.

episode 3 was pretty good, not sure what it had to do with the story.. was still kinda touching .. almost had a tear in me eye..certainly a lump in my throat..and quite frankly 2 men made a bit more sense than the usual guy and gal. so maybe it woke stuff, maybe not.. it was however tastefully done and done damn well.. great episode either way ..

The jury is still out on this new series. this makes the 2nd cop show where the lead character is dyslexic. I’ve watched the new British drama Chelsea Detective and the lead character is dyslexic too.

very similar, style production wise.. follows the standard plot progression rather well.. odd thing, mysterious message, martyr, conspiracy, and then just twist away..lol … the bits at the end of the last episode would have been predictable, if one wasnt so caughtup in the story… Very well done show.. looking foward to see where it all goes..
