An excellent show depicting naval warfare around the Napoleonic era. Ioan Gruffud does an excellent job portraing the hero Horatio Hornblower, and we get to follow his career from a young Midshipman to a fullblown captain.

If you like this show you can also check out “Sharpe” which is in the same style but on land.

One of the best in the series! Non stop action and good acting!

Saw it at the movies. It was decent, at least if you like ABBA which is probably why you would watch the film in the first place!

The story was cute, the comedy value ok and the characters good.
It was fun to see Cher playing the glamorous granny! She did a stellar job!!
