Clever, witty, empathetic, extremely likeable cast. Segel and Ford play off each other seamlessly.

These two together! yay! looking forward to this
Me too! They were on the last Graham Norton show discussing the movie, the two actors are great, really complement each other.
Amazon announced Bosch: Legacy would return for a Season 2 ahead of the Season 1 premiere in May 2022. At the moment, a release date for Season 2 of Bosch: Legacy hasn’t been confirmed, but Michael Connelly, the author of the Bosch series and producer of the show has confirmed that production is set to start on the second series later this year.
Bosch: Legacy fans should therefore expect an early 2023 release date.
Yea, can never have too much Bosch. Let’s hope he gets the house back, I missed it!

This is really gritty stuff. Reminds me of The Wire. Courtney B. Vance is an excellent actor, but it is the Brit Tosin Cole that commands the first episode. Bentley Green who plays the younger brother Joshua just grabs you emotionally with his expressive face.

Just what I need, some Hugh Laurie! 😁 This was excellent even more so because I was not familiar with the book.

This is so good. Episode 3 is jaw dropping. Gary Oldman is excellent in this and the dialog is sharp and witty. “even when he was good he wasn’t any good, the guy’s a fucking fridge magnet” 😂
A posh Englishman decides to take on helming a pirate ship replete w/pirates, what could go wrong? Well, everything for them but comedy gold for us. The 1st epi was pretty funny. Waititi is always good for a watch & a laugh. Good acting, writing & production design too. Hopefully it just gets even better from here but even if it stays at this level it will be entertaining.
Heads up this is subtitled, but might be interesting enough to have a look.
Bummer. Konstantin was my favorite. He coulda carried a spinoff series all his own.
Just seeing him come on screen made me smile, and then usually laugh out loud. There is something joyous about that man
4/5 Carrie Coon has grown into her role as a woman with brass balls!
“Once upon a time, children, there was a BBC Two documentary called The Countess and the Russian Billionaire. It told the story of Countess Alexandra Tolstoy, who fell in love with an oligarch called Sergei Pugachev who was very good friends with a man called Vladimir Putin until he wasn’t. If you were adults, children, you would know already how this story was likely to go. But you still would hardly believe it as it unfolded before you.
We open in 2015 with the countess – her father is a distant cousin of Leo himself – showing us round her gorgeous Chelsea home. Well, homes. They bought the equally enormous townhouse next door, too, on a whim, and knocked through, and thank goodness they did because now she, her Chanel handbag collection and Sergei have one pad, and their three children can make their mess in the other. “It’s a really fun way to live,” Alexandra explains, without moving her lips. At first I thought she had a special member of staff, on top of the nannies, driver, PA, housekeepers and French teacher to speak for her, but no – she is simply a perfect example of an English aristocrat with a trait you often see imitated and mocked but rarely in the original, whereby all movement above the neck has been bred out.
For the first few minutes, this is the most fascinating thing about the story. But then the programme begins its transformation into a fabulously compelling, soapy drama requiring of the viewer only that he or she settle yet more firmly down on the sofa and prepare to cry: “WTF!” at increasing volume and ever shorter intervals.”

The artwork used in the opening credits for this series is quite special. Excellent acting, some of the first 2 episodes was emotionally difficult to watch.
The director Paul Feig (who worked on the American adaptation of “The Office”) returns to television with the small-town mockumentary-style comedy series “Welcome to Flatch.”
“I liked it more when you were quiet”
Seems apropos under current circumstances 😛
QUOTE:
“There are a lot of unanswered questions surrounding Hillsong, the nightlife-esque megachurch popularized by a celebrity congregation that includes Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and several Kardashians. The church has captured the criticism and fascination by the public for its secretive religious practices, homophobic beliefs, and abuse allegations. It wasn’t uncommon a couple of years ago for a celebrity you liked to be disappointingly outted as a Hillsong attendee, kind of like how celebrities are now outted for buying distasteful gorilla NFTs.”

OMG, the banana and the doughnut. How do the writers come up with this stuff? 😂
This is a history lesson worth seeing —considering the current situation in Ukraine
I watched this last night on CBC before it was available here. From an historical perspective it was interesting as I was not familiar with this era. It held my interest, acting was good and I am looking forward to the remaining episodes… will probably rewatch it as I know the area where it was filmed and was distracted trying to identify locations. 😁
Filming took place primarily in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada between June and September 2021.
This episode is available on CBC-GEM now. The series will be released in the United States on BET+

The costuming and set decoration in this series are a feast for the eyes. Nathan Lane is a welcome addition; hope we will see more of him.
Hiam Abbass is the actress who plays the wife of Logan Roy (Brian Cox) in “Succession”. I would really like to see this film.
The writing on this is just superb. “I’m a ho, I know about ho shit.” Juxtapose that with “I think I understand now why you feel guilty.” Poignant.
This group is so wonderfully bat$hit crazy you have to love em! I bet the rehearsals are like a kids playdate.
Hehehehe Best episode yet. Sooo darn funny!!! Start to finish! Way too many funny lines and situations to mention. LOL 😆🤣🤣🤣

If Goodman is dead it’s cause he had enough of acting in this 😂 & then I will of had too
OR they could put him in a coma and let the kids “play house” for awhile. Actually he was injured on set recently. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBS_FNl0D2M
Ummm, if they kill of John Goodman where would they go from there? Put Judy in charge?
😂 😆 😁
There were a lot of interesting characters in this miniseries, and the actors sold it. It was a decent show. I could have used an additional episode to follow up on events, but…whatever. The story was more about the people, really; not so much on the issue presented.
I agree the ending left me somewhat unsatisfied. But the acting was quite exceptional.
Good movie! The first hour has a great Carnivale feel to it. If you haven’t seen that, check it out: https://www.primewire.vc/tv/2290-watch-carnivale
Perfect casting of Blanchette as the femme fatale but I can’t figure out her character’s motivations for doing all that she did. Unless she was just plain nuts? Any ideas? That part was, for me, the only glitch in an otherwise fantastic flick.

Each episode this gets more intriguing. Sheridan Smith has such a mobile expressive face. They have now revealed the twist I suspected. Can’t wait to see how it is all tied together tomorrow.
I searched around to find out a bit more on this, as I was not familiar with Sheridan Smith’s work. She is excellent in this. Plot not at all what I expected after 2 episodes. It turns out to be a mystery as compelling as it is gripping.
“An unconventional love story between a working-class single mum, her young daughter and a privileged gay man.”
This is going to be great. Daisy May Cooper is such a good actress and writer with the most expressive face. The actress who plays the daughter is perfect. Cooper is also in Avenue 5.
