I watched Deadwood the movie last week and it reminded me of how much I enjoyed the series. So I am going to watch them again. Series 1 episode 1 Brilliant.

After episode 3 I hated that battle scene, too long, boring and too dark. Epi 4 started to redeeem GOT but this was truly epic. Brilliant story, direction, lighting, SFX and of course acting.

I have been waiting for this for years. As a big fan of the book I think the cast are well picked. I am going to savour it with one epi at a time even though I want to bing **

Watched the first 40 min the night it aired and was so disappointed I turned it off. Too dark, too silent, too stupid. Tried to avoid all spoilers (impossible) and watched the last 40 min. today. Boy, do they owe us big time. I am going to wait for the final three episodes then binge three. There are so many questions and so little time. I have my fingers crossed.

The show is playing to it’s strengths now, getting away from the weird relationship with HER.
