no english subtitles

Whenever this is the case, I was told by a moderator that we should click on “Report Broken” (next to the stars) and let them no “no english subtitles.” Then, we should also go to the forum thread https://www1.primewire.li/forum/thread/5 and let them know, as well as, request new links and copying and pasting this page’s url. They have been really on top of it, getting the new links requested fairly quickly. Good luck.

A Million Little Things (2018) S1 E8

Wow, for me this episode just took this dramas story telling level up a notch. <3 And, ep. title so apropos. <3

The Rookie (2018) S1 E8
8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago.

Wow, great episode. And provides a much different perspective than most of the Cop shows that I’ve ever seen, though it’s not my usually preferred genre. I presume this one is much more realistic than most, yet still holds my interest. Thinking here of Shades of Blue but actually no comparison. To me, Rookie is drama-realism and great acting, while Shades of Blue was drama, great acting, yet action packed fictitious to the point of pure ridiculousness.

A Winter Rose (2016)

8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

That first dance at the reception with the music malfunction, and then everyone finally joining in with them, was just precious, I smiled and got so choked up for them, how beautiful and what a memory. They are a great couple, how awesome to see that.

Dang, this was a good episode, which really ramped up my excitement and interest over all. Glad, I stuck with this show. I’ve thought it’s been good but not great, but hm it’s getting better.

Glad to hear, but was it snort-laugh funny as well?

8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago.

In my case, no, no, not snort-laugh, it’s hardly a comedy; it’s more of joyous delight kind of laughing.

The Walking Dead (2010) S9 E9

Great Easter Egg in this episode connecting back to finale of S6. Greg Nicotero stated on Talking Dead that where Negan kneels and is sick from drinking bad water is the same place and from same camera angle view of where he had Sasha, Rosita, Abraham, Rick, Carl, Michone, Eugene, Maggie, Glen and Darryl kneel (finale season 6).

This says its Women Tell All episode. Wheres the continuation of the fantasy suites? I can’t wait to see what he does there!!

8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago*.

Right, me either~ I’m guessing that it’ll be in next weeks episode the Finale part 1. But, who knows where they left off if there will be any continuation of the fantasy suites. They certainly left me hanging. But, something happens aye, since there is a Finale part 1 & 2. I’m so curious how this played out and I do feel for the parties involved. I’m attempting to be cryptic here as to not be a Spoiler. I haven’t watched the Woman Tell All ep, here yet. Suppose I’ll know more if I do watch it. Sometimes I skip this part, but I’m too curious to skip it this season.

Marvel's The Punisher (2017) S1 E1
8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

So, cool, so brill, the scene where the ICE agent’s mother is sharing with her daughter how her husband, the agent’s father has such strong unshakable faith and why he says he needs to have, yet is able to see the flaws in it. That being followed by the scene of Frank reading The Crack-up by Scott Fitzgerald. (A key to the theme of this story I assume.)
At the beginning of “The Crack-Up” Fitzgerald makes this widely quoted general observation:—

the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function.
— F. Scott Fitzgerald

So, the ICE agent’s father has that ability, we are to assume; as well as, Frank character here and what his internal movement is in essence exploring and expressing.

Just thinking out loud and connecting to what was said earlier at the end of the Support Group session to Lewis though about reading books, “ “Perspective is good, but the answers have to be your own. You have to take an honest look in here (puts his hand on his chest / heart) before you look anywhere else, alright?”
(which scene is then followed by Frank bringing one back, a book, that he’s read).

Oh, so interesting, very strong writing …. yes, and to quote Simi5 “oh shiiiittt that’s a strong strong tvshow here.”

I skipped through Women Tell All, to get the gist of what was going on- watched bits and pieces of it. I normally dont watch it ever either- just a lot of spiteful women hurling insults! Have a look at it… You do see a little bit about what is coming next. Very dramatic, the season! And yes I do feel sorry for parties involved

8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago*.

Did you finish watching the finale yet truxlady33? I just did. Don’t want to spoil a thing if you (or any one else reading) haven’t. Just sayin, it’s been a wild ride, dramatic, unexpected season.

The Walking Dead (2010) S9 E14
8STORY8 1 points 5 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Great thematically speaking, love how what Joss thinks she must do to teach the kids how to be strong, ties to Alpha and her daughter Lydia and the Whispers, and heck Carole and the children at the Prison (like season 2 or 3) and well, so many other examples of such. It’s exploring and finding the balance of when what choices one makes to keep oneself and others safe does not change one into the same one is protecting one’s self and others from, aka “the walking dead” even if that is in the form of too focused on being safe and keep safe as to not truly live and love. Beautiful theme, never gets old.

Love that line from Darryl to Michonne when she berated herself for why she didn’t see what her “friend” really was and why it wasn’t on her. Go Darryl, he’s certainly grown wise. …And boy, can I relate.

The Walking Dead (2010) S9 E14

Remarkable episode! Definitely sensed it was coming, since they foreshadowed it would be the foreshadowing, teasers and mystery with how’d they get those scars? And why the fracture between the groups? etc. So yeah, I suspected this was going to be a remarkable one being its title “Scars”, but heck it was more layered and powerful than I even suspected it might be.

very exciting challenge designing clothes for body modifications, and in a group challenge, a collection, what a challenge, so glad they have 2 days. Those mods rocked! I did love the top two groups collection, and definitely the winner and runner-up. It was a missed opportunity for the most part for the rest of the designers. But, I understand that time and budget constraints and having to collaborate is indeed challenging. And, they get such a short time to draw and shop. I think putting a dark shaded fabric under the top tips of those feather modifications would have made them just pop to the forefront and accentuate them beautifully. I personally don’t feel drawn to body modification, but I still think it’s cool for those who are. I’m delighted to know there’s this option of non-permanent body modifications, too.

The House of Extraordinary People (2019) S1 E1

Profound, so glad my curiosity led me to see what this was about. If you are interested, drawn to, liberating and healing yourself and the collective world of rejecting, abandoning, ridiculing and judging yourself or others for being different, whether by conscious choice, biology, or inherent circumstance, this is the show for you. Inclusiveness, love, respect, courage, acceptance and celebrating differences and also what we share, healing those wounds of rejection with self-love and confidence and dignity, yep that’s what this is expressing at a high-level intensity. Prepared to be moved, amazed, grow empathy and understanding, and enjoy the humor. It’s pretty darn important imo to balance meaningfulness with not taking oneself too seriously. Should be fascinating.

Instant Family (2018)

I too absolutely enjoyed this movie. Great writing and performances, and gosh darn cute, funny, and clever, yet raw, intense, wise insight, and also yet deeply meaningful, touching, and moving. BRAVO, highly enjoyable experience!

And, I concur with the movie Sam as being a perfect example of a powerful-beautiful tear-jerker. I’ll have to recall those movies I’ve seen that qualify as such and which I would recommend. And, beyond just being teared up, I’ve balled my eyes out at quite a few. I just was tagged by my son on Facebook of an interesting article, “Why Crying During Movies Actually Means You’re Mentally Tough.” I’ll share the link in the Forum Thread Robo started (See comment above).
