By February 2022, development had begun on a prequel series titled Outlander: Blood of My Blood, which will focus on Jamie Fraser’s parents Brian and Ellen Fraser. In January 2023, Outlander: Blood of My Blood was officially confirmed for a ten-episode first season, and Outlander was renewed for a ten-episode eighth and final season. So, yay!

Stop flaunting your hotness in my face, dammit!
I don’t like that Malva girl. She’s up to something.
if you want to see more Neill Blomkamp shorts and if you don’t know already, you should check out oats studio on youtube.
Thanks. Yes, I do know and I’ve posted a couple other shorts in the past.
God: Serengeti comes to mind. And Migrants.
What an awesome movie.. I wonder how many truly great discoveries were lost to religious ignorance..
I hate the snobbishness and not sure if I will continue after this first episode. Downton Abbey was very subtle with the snobbishness, but classism is very hurtful and I’ve dealt with it nearly all of my life. I think Cynthia Nixon is the wrong person for the character of Ada Brook but Christine Baranski is spot on with her character. There is even classism at work with the household staff of both mansions.
The classism amongst the staff and the all around intolerance really made me bristle. I realize it is accurate for the times, but still. shudders
That was amazing. I loved the music and Ted was a work of…arts & crafts.
There’s only one thing left to say. That was Marvelous!
I love Mitch Hedberg’s stand-up. The shows would start with the audience confused and it looking like he was going to bomb, but slowly they began to catch on to his style and by the end he had usually won them over. Such a unique and humble talent gone too soon.
Mitch cracked me tf up. Too bad a better copy isn’t floating around in the ether. RIP, bro.
when
The second season is set to premiere in June 2024, consisting of 8 episodes
There’s two more episodes left I believe. And yes that thing you’re talking about shocked me too, in a good way.
Sorry, Jareed I originally thought so too but last night was the season finale.

It had a Audio talk over I did not know was on, I have re-done it again with a normal audio Track (the one I downloaded to do the Request with had someone talking over what was happening and the ideas. Like a writers/directors commentary but it did not say and I just checked it quick). It as now been deleted and this is the PROPER one with original audio..
The one with commentary is deleted this is now PROPER AUDIO!!
Thanks for the info, drbadass.
My minimal critique comes from having see the film years ago.
Absolutely! Loved watching movies like “Logan’s Run” “Soylent Green” “Silent Running”, “Omega Man” and Damnation Alley” too. Classic 70ies era Dystopian movies I grew up watching as a little kid in the 70ies. There was talk of a re-make of “Logan’s Run” being made…but thankfully, just like the talk about re-making “Escape From New York”? It was just rumors and talk and thankfully nothing has come to fruition on any of that!
Actually, there was this:

I knowww! I almost screamed when I saw the episodes. Ahhh! Excited! Also, I need to finish 800 Words already. Dang. Haha.
Me too. lol. I was hoping for a new season of 800 Words but if Erik Thomson is doing this then I guess that series is over.
Oh well. Happy for this one.
George Takei is such an endearing man with so much heart and empathy and character.
I will love him forever!
Truth. My main browser for 10+ years was Safari, but when it dropped support for uBlock Origin I quickly ditched it for Firefox. It’s so good that I literally forget pop-up ads exist until I see them mentioned.
I haven’t seen a single pop-up since I switched to ublock about 9 months ago. It’s awesome.
I’m thinking that right about now, John’s hating having a Windows 10-based system!
That was plausible. Very intense. Neill Blomkamp, who directed and starred in “District 9” was at the helm here, too. I’d like to see a full movie.
How this flashed under me radar I’ll nay a know! Lots better than chasin kangaroos!
Here is the first movie: https://www.primewire.ag/movie/1145119-watch-occupation
Rollercoaster Loved it! Going to miss this series
VacantField42, I’ll take your word for it and see for myself.
I can do both, right?
A Good documentary (A shame that Mengele was never caught and convicted for the War Crimes he committed). Oh and if you want to watch a good classic fictional thriller about the hunt for Mengele? I totally recommend watching “The Boys From Brazil” which has a great cast in it..Gregory Peck and (Sir) Laurence Olivier.
This is so fantastical. Next season can’t come soon enough. I hope we see a lot more of Jared Harris.
I’m pretty sure they all do. Klingons are like those guys with their assault rifles protesting the very apocalypse they’ve been prepping for for like ever; Doesn’t matter what the issue is, they’re against it and they want to fight over it.
For some reason I’m reminded of the scene in the episode “Dark Page” (I think) where Worf was invited to join Deanna and Lwaxana Troi and other aliens for a Jacuzzi. He was so resistant. He finally admitted, “Klingons do not bathe.”
John Oliver is so level-headed and hilarious. Why don’t people pay attention?
I’m still confused, but that’s ok. And, I’m confessing that I haven’t even seen this episode yet, but I will tomorrow. The spoilers that I’ve read aren’t really spoilers. So that’s good.
I finally got around to watching the last couple of episodes and although they were good, they fked up… Jim Kirk was an only child, yet now he has a brother named Sam???
James Kirk’s brother, George Samuel Kirk, is first mentioned on Star Trek The Original Series in “What Are Little Girls Made Of?” - Season 1; Episode 7, October 20, 1966 and introduced and killed in “Operation: Annihilate!” - Season 1; Episode 29, April 13, 1967, leaving behind three children.
In the episode, Kirk is desperate to reach his scientist brother, who lives on the planet Deneva, which is next in line in a pattern of mass insanity.
I think a lot of people do not want to admit they do not like the people who keep taking the Captain’s seat in Disco and WHY they don’t like those people. Instead they come up with reasons they claim make the show horrible but have been seen in every season. The show is too emotional (just admit you don’t like scenes where people talk about fitting in). Enterprise and Voyager were all about emotions and filled with weird meditation scenes. Oh the ship being sentient is weird? Yeah we never had computer problems on TNG (by the way my big gripe about Disco is that they did not use the same voice. that woman CARRIED Star trek in more ways than one and they could have used all her old footage to make a voice filter and keep using her voice as the ship). THere’s something on the show for everyone if it was so bad there wouldn’t be new spin-offs based on how well they are doing.
That would have been very cool to hear Majel Barrett’s voice come out of the computer.
New show if anyone’s interested.
