I liked these costumes a lot but I felt like sometimes maybe there was too much sand. Maybe I’m phrasing that wrong because I’m not a good writer but it felt like there was maybe just too much sand.

Covid and the lockdowns were an opportunity for a hard reset of many people’s lives. A chance to form stronger bonds with family and friends. The time to better ourselves and pursue interests that gave us joy. To re-evaluate our life’s path. I wonder how many made significant changes that improved the quality of their lives.

Based on and a reimagining of the 1936 Universal Classic Monsters film Dracula’s Daughter. The project was stated to be a modern-day adaptation of one of the Universal Classic Monsters characters similar in approach to The Invisible Man (2020) or Renfield (2023), with the synopsis being described as “a unique take on legendary monster lore and will represent a fresh, new direction for how to celebrate classic characters”.

The project was later stated to have originally been titled the same as the source it’s based on, Dracula’s Daughter; while Universal restated that while they had considered a singular continuity with The Mummy (2017), each release will continue to be “rooted in the horror genre, with no restrictions on budget, rating or genre. They are not part of a shared interconnected universe, which allows each film to stand on its own. This new direction is filmmaker-driven, inviting innovative filmmakers with original, bold ideas for these characters to develop the stories and pitch them.”

This is a dark comedy, right? Please tell me I’m not the only one that finds it amusing.

I’m not able to tolerate Maher anymore, but I watched this episode for my man Max Brooks. He’s always a can’t-miss for me; so smart and funny. Nothing fazes him. That is so appealing.

He’s so far into Richard Burton that he is Richard Burton. 6/5 stars for this episode, so much good stuff going on.

I’ve watched this a couple times. There has not been one Cohen brothers movie that I’ve watched that I haven’t loved. They are one of the best directors in Hollywood

You should read the rest of Clavells books. shogun to king rat, noble house to whirlwind.. If I recall right Angi-san is the ancestor that runs through em all.. ?? Clavell calls islamists the most dangerous people on earth.. That would tweek some noses today .. lol It has been 30 years since I read them all.

No wonder so many people got triggered it depicts accurately how horribly Christian Caucasians were treated back then, and no I’m not Christian I’m just stating fact. Good show love seeing how it’s portrayed correctly

It’s been so long that I’ll have to rewatch the 1st half of the season.
