Alien's comments
damn it! the episode dropped and i watched this part again. i’m a glutton for punishment.
But what about Bangkok?! I liked this movie very much. Mostly competent unknown actors.
The question of whether the ends justify the means is a complex ethical issue that has been debated by philosophers for centuries.
“The vulgar crowd always is taken by appearances, and the world consists chiefly of the vulgar. Thus, people deserve the evil, vulgar and unprincipled rulers they vote for while mostly guided by appearances & very little by real substance in their choice.” - Machiavelli
The comments got my attention, as I had not heard of this series. Starting now, I am giving it a try. I remember Hiroyuki Sanada from Helix and thought he did well there. So thanks all for even the nonsense comments which got my attention.
“If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.”

The Latest update: The films will explore four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865, following different characters (it reportedly has 150 speaking roles) as they navigate the conflict. According to Costner himself, the story will follow the known formula of “man-comes-to-town” but he will go deeper. “This isn’t Disneyland. These were real lives. People just making their way, women just trying to keep their families clean, fed — [they] basically worked to death. Women’s lives were short, all they did was work. And so I’m drawn to that. I’m always gonna get to my gunfight — but I’m drawn to the little things of what people had to endure,” the filmmaker said in his presentation.” The first film will be released in theaters June 28, followed by its second chapter just two months later, on Aug. 16. The second two films haven’t yet been filmed. Development of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 will depend on the success of the first two.
Great find, Piglet.

Now there is a cop show I’ll watch.
This happened in my city: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Cara_Knott
I also lived in the same community shortly afterward.
You missed this part. Fk you, Jon Stewart, for that!

I wonder who stole whose idea?
idk, but I couldn’t/wouldn’t watch the measly sized files that are posted. I saw it on TV.
Did Rick’s brain get turned to mush when that bridge exploded?
He had that big axe…why on Earth did he chop his hand off when it would have been so much easier to just whack that little cable-leash in two???
Is his zombie hand now crawling around in the woods?
Will it eventually find Rick again in a future ep?
Eagerly awaiting this. I’ll never tire of listening to Attenborough.
The first episode is amazing!

Wow, the first episode was.amazing, did not expect the ending to surprise me the way it did. That was a bonus.
Yes, amazing. Surprised me, too. I was thinking aliens.
According to everything I’ve read on the subject, Season 3 is still a big fat maybe.
I love Clarke, but that quote is nonsense. What is terrifying about us being alone in the universe? The prospect of other intelligent life is only scary if you think that a species advanced enough to traverse the immense distances of space to get here would be as base as humanity currently is.
Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not.
Both are equally terrifying. - Arthur C. Clarke
I’m lazy
That makes two of us so I’ll just take your word for it.
(too lazy to add a period at the end of your sentence, I see)
ONE MILLION DOLLARS is a time-honored way to get the public’s attention - watching the traditional media to see whether it gets picked up and covered
So far, WGN (Chicago) has picked it up.

You know the facts are suspect when they call Robert Blake ‘one of the most successful actors of all time”… And what’s up with the joker lipstick on that one woman???
Well, in his time he was.

For me the Deadpool the ‘story’ is almost superfluous. It’s all about the humour and DP taking the piss out of the whole superhero film genre and the generic clichés with no holds barred. That the only reason it got released even though it went against the ‘clean cut, moody emotional but at the end of day goody-toe-shoes’ theme of the rest of the MCU is due to Ryan Reynolds leaking that one fight scene on the net.
As long as they stick to that, then am sure it’ll be better than any other MCU film out over the next couple of years.
If you watched the 4th season, you know one character has left. I was hoping but he’s not coming back. Big change on Masterpiece’s popular drama Miss Scarlet and the Duke. Stuart Martin, who played William “The Duke” Wellington in the previous four seasons, will not return for season 5. Kate Phillips will return as Miss Eliza Scarlet for a fifth season of investigations, and the series will be retitled Miss Scarlet.”It has been such an incredible joy to bring Duke to life through Rachael’s beautiful, brilliant writing, and to get to play him for the past four years,” said Martin in a statement. “But it felt like the time was right for Scarlet to explore new stories and challenges for now, as the show continues to grow and evolve. I will miss working with my amazing partner in crime Kate and the rest of our brilliant family and team, but I’m excited to continue following Eliza and her escapades as a huge fan and newly enrolled Scarleteer!”
That’s a shame because he was a big draw for me. Hope he has something good in the works. Thanks for the info, Piglet.
