Charli! Charli! Charli!
Oy! Oy! Oy!
When filming this show I highly doubt they were stopping to think about pleasing American audiences just like when filming an American show they don’t stop to think about pleasing audiences in other parts of the world. It’s a UK show. They are catering to their audience.
Siren was canceled in August 2020. However, now, it is claimed that the series actually had a change in its release schedule and was not canceled but only postponed. This means that we may still see Siren Season 4 in a year or so, but who knows. I’m keeping my fingers crossed just in case because I love this show.
I Can TRULY say this was an EXTREMELY unexpected and completely AMAZING Episode!!!!!
Pretty solid documentary miniseries. Doesn’t go quite as deep as I would want it to but love the inclusion of some more recent series like “Insecure”, “Space Force” and “The Upshaws”. I haven’t watched the final episode yet but I’m hoping it delves more into some more of the cable/streaming comedies it hasn’t yet. Like seriously, no love for “Loosely Exactly Nicole”, “ I just want my pants back” or “Mary + Jane”! This whole show dwelled a wee bit too much on network tv and multicam comedies than I would like but I love the genre (I prefer British sitcoms and this is about American sitcoms — and “Fleabag”, oddly enough — and my love for American sitcoms is mostly the stuff that lasted 1 or 2 seasons in the mid 2000s and 2010s but I love the form in general).
Hi guys,
You do not need to watch the Fosters to get Good Trouble, it’s a whole new cast!
Well, there are 1 or 2 episodes a season that continue “The Fosters” continuity with guest appearances from that show’s cast so I wouldn’t say that’s entirely true.
Mostly this episode, but also overall…
Beginning and ending the season at Murder House is an interesting choice.
“Tastes like blood”…he says, like it’s a bad thing (unless you’re talking blood orange). I seriously thought that was Cody Fern (from “Apocalypse and “1984”). Ryan Murphy sure has a type….
“Maybe I can find a ghost that’ll last more than two pumps!” LMFAO.
Ruby was so sexy quoting “Hotel California”!
Nice seeing Jamie Brewer again. Dylan McDermott( several seasons of AHS), less so. Although when he said “You like being hungry more than you like being fed”….
Some characters are clearly low-budget knockoffs (Twisty, I’m looking at you). Even though I know it’s not her, the lead actress remids me of Leslie Grossman (several seasons of AHS). And they have “from the back” shots of the witches of “Coven”/“Apocalypse”.
The kid is a bit of a jerk. And bringing it back around to him and his mom was kind of lame.
Didn’t Ryan Murphy suggest the cast of AHS would be back for this series? Where are Taissa, Evan, Sarah, Lily Denis, Kathy, Angela, Emma, Adina, Fin, Frances, Wes? At least Matt Bomer, John Carroll Lynch (though NOT as Twisty, Naomi Grossman, Billie Lourde. And everyone loves Adrienne Barbeau and Danny Trejo.
Ditto what Terrifying Timber said. This is a spinoff series, not American Horror Story proper
Totally gonna miss this show and Kayla and Maeve and the rest of the cast. RIP show.
I’m looking forward to checking this one out but I have a feeling this show is going to be divisive as all get out.
Very intriguing first episode with just enough “new stuff” to go along with the procedural whodunit we’re all used to. A lot funnier and clever that I had initially expected it to be.
Love Iain. Looks like the second coming of “Friends” or at least the second coming of “2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps”, which lasted 9 seasons compared to “ Friends”‘ 10 seasons!
Love Garance Marillier and her in a Harlan Coben series is a match made in proverbial heaven imho
its not that. its just icarly suppose to be clean. its for the kids. but now its not for the kids. people get confuse what to show the kids then.
It’s still “cleaner” than most other sitcoms these days. Not that I care. I love filthy, raw, adult cable/streaming comedy but this is not that. Not by a long shot.
Larraine Newman from the early seasons of SNL and a diehard horror fan has stated this is one of her favorite underseen horror movies.
It’s definitely aimed at an American audience with guest appearances from Andy Cohen and Lisa Rinna, amongst others. You ARE right about that!
You guys haven’t heard yet that Netflix picked it back up!? And not only that, the guy responsible for the show manifest said even if he didn’t get a network to pick it up, that he was already in the works of putting out a two hour movie just so the fans could get to see his whole vision
Never heard of this series before and after my first episode, I’m not sure what to think yet. I will need to see more to form an idea of like or dislike. We’ll see.
It’s arguably the most popular UK TV drama on at the moment. This show gets bananas ratings. Everyone and their mama tunes in.
Poor episode, at least imho. Too many things I already knew about shows I know too well.
What happened to Bill Murray? He’s done a bunch of great movies in his career, especially since his resurgence with “Rushmore” and “Lost in Translation” in the early 2000s!
I don’t care if it’s a good movie or not, I’M WATCHING JUST FOR THE GREAT CAST!!!!
The episode was fairly well done. The mix of action, drama, and suspense was good. As in much of TV the editing was swift, cut, cut, cut. But I think the human beats could have been left in a little longer.
Have you gotten to the massive cast overhaul in season 3 that killed the show yet?
