Very silly film - in the style of Jackie Chan in the 80’s. Fat Donnie Yen with glasses knows all the kung fu though. My only gripe is the rubber alsatian was brutal - in the words of the great sage Butthead “These effects aren’t very special”.

I saw a couple of these when they came out first and always wanted to see more. This is obscure, esoteric TV so thanks to who ever posted them, and if you have more I will take em…
This is going to make all the children happy - some of them are in their 50’s…
Don’t cry trekkies - they are currently writing two more seasons - filming begins this summer.
I enjoyed that very much. You’d think the bad guys would have learned not to prick with Will Riker…
Trevor is going stir crazy in his apartment - and his mustache is like a schoolboys effort.
do you remember the name of said film?….cuz i thought the whole making keys, hiding in a closet thing seemed familiar but i couldnt think of the name of the movie i saw it in…lol
National geographic did a doco on it in their series “Breakout” the episode is called “keys to freedom” and it was S02E08 according to IMDB - but its not on here as far as I can see. I remember that cos I read the book 20ish years ago, great book, I hope the movie does it justice.
Great news kids! I was watching Kevin Smith’s podcast - turns out his co-host Marc Bernadin got hisself a new job this week. He is writing series two AND three of Picard - shooting starts in the summer. I am all happy now!
Ten bucks says Shep Doeleman gets the Nobel prize in Physics this year. Well he ought to anyway…
There ya go - episodes at last! They are doing 2 every week, delivery times may vary. Been waiting about 5 years for this already, a couple extra days was no sweat.
Woo hoo! I am gonna be all over this like custard on a slice of apple pie…
Brand new season with 1 hour episodes coming on the 18th of March (U.K.) - this show has been moved into a prime time slot on the big boys channel, and they deserve it IMHO.
I enjoyed it, I was not expecting Shakespearean acting or Jackie Chan action though. That said, Margot Robbie did very well in the fights, more protracted and less edit edit edit than you’d expect. Not bad for a seven stone blonde gurl twirling a baseball bat. I am going to go click on 5 stars, but I had a crush on Harley Quinn since she was a drawing and then a cartoon - I may be biassed…
Pay no heed to the hyperbole, if you liked the previous DC animated movies then you should enjoy this. Set as part of the “elseworld” series, there is more action and story to the books, but for a sub 90 minute adaptation this is pretty decent. There is both language and gore so not for youngsters. It’s commie Superman - who doesn’t want to see that?
omfg how did i miss this!!!! its the most intense, deep soul shaking sci-fi ive ever seen. the effects and multi layered story line are just next level…. 1000/10. cant wait for the sequel.
Honestly, battlefield earth is a fine book - but there’s 1300 pages of it. They would’ve needed at least a trilogy to do it justice, they left out a lot of genuinely funny and cool things to fit it into a single movie. This version bombed so hard it’ll be a long time before any studio touches it again.
