Dying to Belong (2018)

I’m sure there are many who will enjoy this show, but it’s not for me. It’s tragic, and to me, over-kill on how many of these crimes are out there in these specific areas. There really are some sick twists in this world. Thank you for the links uplinkers.

American Monster (2016)

This series is one of the most startling and well presented out there. I’m not big on true crime series, so I set the bar pretty high, this one is horrifying and realistic in that it has endless amounts of actual police footage and interviews with witnesses and survivours. It amazes me how many of these crimes are in this part of the world… in a sick-to-my-stomach kind of way. Thank you uplinkers and uploaders for the links.

Yay, I have been waiting for this! I love Ben Foster and the premise of this story. Thank you uplinkers/uploaders.

A Simple Favor (2018)
magically_delicious 2 points 5 years ago.

It started off pretty well with the quippy dialogue between Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, but slowly digressed into intense silliness and predictability, for me. They should have taken about 30 minutes off this film in editing and it would have been a lot better, and also stuck with a less complicatedly silly reveal. Nevertheless, I am really grateful to have the links here, and would like to say that this TS version is very watchable aside from two brief instances where it goes out of focus. Thank you uplinkers. :)

Searching (2018)

This is a pretty watchable film. I was entertained enough to keep watching it, though it isn’t something I’d ever watch again. It was a good filler film for me. The TS copy is very clear and the audio is good, if anyone is thinking of watching it and hesitating because of that. Thank you for the links, uplinkers.

Maniac (2018) S1 E10

Honestly, this is one of the most captivating and diverse series (or for that matter films even), that I have seen in a very long time. I was actually hesitant because I am not a big fan of Emma Stone, but she has proven to me that she can stretch herself in a multitude of roles. I’d recommend this one to anyone. 10 hours (give or take) of top-notch entertainment. Thank you PW uploaders and uplinkers for the links.

I love this episode. The comedy is unmistakable. Thank you so much for all the links, uplinkers and unloaders.

The Purge (2018) S1 E3

The glowing nuns were a nice touch to this episode. I’m not sure how I’d rank this series after 3 episodes, it’s entertainment, but I can also do other things with it on, so more than a little predictable, for me. Thank you very much for the links, uplinkers/uploaders.

WOW. This is an amazing amalgamation of genres and styles that is 110% entertainment at it’s best. “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”, “Alien”, “Blade Runner” and sprinkling of anime and a pinch of retro (yet, not), and some black humour, as well as excellent visuals and multiple and ever-expansive story-lines and that’s what this treasure is. And we’ve got all the episodes in abundance! This is a binge watcher’s dream come true. Somehow for me, this series was more like watching a film, even if I were to watch the episodes one at a time. Thanks for all the links, uplinkers.

This is a very good follow up to the first episode and actually has a lot of interesting sub-plots. Thanks a million for all the links, uplinkers.

The Purge (2018) S1 E1

Although I found this first episode to be a wee bit slow, it was necessary to explain the absolutely horrific differences between this show and the films. It’s mind-boggling and soul numbing. Thank you for the links uplinkers. :)

Fantastic episode. I want to have Zachary Quinto’s job. It’s fantastic! Thanks very much for the links, this show is worth a watch or two for sure! :)

This episode was definitely darker and had a more sinister feel to it. I love Teresa Palmer. Thank you for the links, uplinkers/uploaders.

A Discovery of Witches (2018)

This (first episode) was a decent watch for me simply because of Teresa Palmer. She’s a class act. I’m not so sure about he script though, it’s a wee bit tame for me, but I’m definitely crossing it off the list, yet! That’s just my feeling about it so far; I’m certain others will either love or hate it. Thanks a million for the links.

This is actually one of my very favourite episodes. The freedom to be yourself; how precious is that? And how underrated? Thank you for the links, uplinkers.

“Squat-cobbler”. LOL

Better Call Saul (2015) S1 E8
magically_delicious 1 points 5 years ago.

I’d forgotten what Jimmy’s and Chuck’s relationship was like in later seasons and episodes therein. This episode reminded me of how this show really builds up an entire Jimmy McGill (aka Saul Goodman) world around the viewer. Thank you so much for the links.

Better Call Saul (2015) S1 E6
magically_delicious 1 points 5 years ago.

Jonathan Banks (aka Mike Ehrmantraut); another good reason to watch, and even re-watch this show. This episode is devoted to Mike’s back-story. He’s a brilliant actor as well. Thank you for the links uplinkers.

Better Call Saul (2015) S1 E5
magically_delicious 2 points 5 years ago.

The top three+ reasons to love this episode: the “toilet” scene; Jimmy and Kim’s growing relationship; Jimmy’s love and devotion to his brother Chuck + Mike. Sounds really like a drama, but this is one dark comedy with twist after twist. I’d forgotten how brilliant it is. Thank you uploaders and uplinkers for making the viewing possible with the links.

One of the best “hero” scenes ever. I loved every minute of this episode. Thank you for the links. :)

This was way better than i expected… better than all other Purge films…

It’s the best of the lot, in my opinion. I enjoyed it many times more than any of the others as well.

Better Call Saul (2015)

Simply, a brilliant series thanks to the multifaceted actor Bob Odenkirk (not to mention creative writing at its best, and solid direction) I’m on Season 4 episode 7 and realise now that season 5 will more than likely be the end of this series. I’ve decided to start rewatcing and cannot believe how much has happened and how rewatchable this series is. I would recommend it to anyone, not just fans of Breaking Bad. It’s simply brilliant. Thank you uplinkers and uploaders for the links!

Oh wow. I had no idea this way being made into a Series for telly. Joe Hill (Joseph Hillstrom King) is a pseudonym for one of Stephen Kings son’s. He’s actually the eldest of the two sons and looks remarkably like a younger version of his father. He is also a good writer, in my opinion. I’ve read this book and quite liked it. I also very much like Zachary Quinto. I wonder when it’s coming round? It was green-lit by AMC 10 April 2018 so hopefully soon! :)

Hunting Emma (2018)
magically_delicious 3 points 5 years ago.

This film ROCKS! I loved it on all levels. It has a really interesting storyline that has an excellent and fast pace, thorough background, and characters that draw you in. The characters has depth, which is something really lacking in most films today. This is a brilliant film for a strong, yet feminine, female lead; she does not need to become a man and fight a man’s fight to show her strength. It is in Afrikaans, but this language is incredibly similar in sound to Dutch, and German, and many times the words are similar to English. It is an easy film to follow if you need the subtitles, which are done in an excellent translation as well. Emma kicks arse!! I am so pleased to see the links here so I thank you uplinkers/uploaders. :)

Zachary Quinto played the young Spock in the Star Trek reboot, and is utilising his “claim to fame” with the Spock-like neutral voice of reason in this series which is also a lovely nod to the original host, Leonard Nimoy. After having watched 19 shows I can honestly say I really enjoy this show. I find Zachary Quinto has an incredibly soothing voice and is easy to watch. The subject matters are getting a little more diverse as well. I only wish the episodes were longer and that it had less “insert commercial here” repetition, but this is definitely one of my personal favourites now. Thanks a million for having the links here uplinkers.

Things are getting really sticky, and they are ALL being torn in different directions. A very well done explanation of the newest crazy sister’s dementia. I’m still enjoying this series, despite obvious practicality errors, it’s a brilliant watch for me. Thank you uplinkers for having it here.
