Albert is a great director and writer. Check out “The Muse” with him and Sharon Stone. She’s wonderful in this. I think I’ll watch it now.
Very good. I love Amy Adams. This movie keeps you guessing to the very end.
Wouldn’t a more appropriate title be “Who’re Island?” After all, who’re they kidding?
Frenchie is an idiot. He tells everyone what he’s up to. He goes to people instead of letting them come to him. He sneaks around the house trying to keep everyone in check. And he thinks he’s so smart. HE’S NOT. And what’s will all the fish and bull metaphors? They are stupid AF. I want him gone.
What is your favorite season and why? Mine is 4: Freak Show. It had a very good story. It was relatable. It was easy to follow and had a lot of heart.
Sucks. Streamplayto used to be good, but now it just opens useless windows. My first choice is mixdrop. I also us NoScript in Firefox. It has reached the point if anything is longer than an hour, I just DL it for later.
I thought this was supposed to be back in early July 2021. Now I have to wait until August? Arrrrrrrrgh.
great cast but boring as hell!!! sorry
I think it’s just because each episode takes place over one day.
I could do without the Smurf backstory. We all know she’s a POS.
“I want a man who is serious.”
Yeah. Serious people go on reality TV to find true love. LOL. They don’t care about anything but the recognition of being on TV. The girl is seriously missing something.
Oh Boy! I loved this movie when I was a kid. I love it as an adult too.
Ellen Burstyn is one of our greats. Click on her name and watch as many of her movies as you can. A personal favorite of mine is “Resurrection.” And who can forget “The Exorcist.”
The story is NOT the same, but this reminds me of Netflix’s “Away” just condensed. I was bored with “Away” after the second episode.
THAT was the end? It seems like a “cliff-hanger” season finale, rather than a series finale. That said, I BAWLED.
I’m loving this show. It’s so different from all the other reality/challenge shows.
It’s a slow start, but at about 10 minutes in, I wanted to see how things played out. About an hour in, things slow down again, and I jumped ahead about 15 minutes. The ending is good.
I watched this when it came out. It is amazing just how gullible people are. Definitely worth watching.
Too slow. Twenty minutes in and still waiting for something to happen so I know what the movie is about. Disappointed in Hillary Swank.
Frenchie is an idiot. Going around telling everyone what his plan is. Thinking he is all that. I can’t wait until they put him on the block next week. He makes my skin crawl.
This is a great movie. Not a lot action but very good story telling. If you like “Passion Fish” you’ll like this too.
I am confused at the hypocrisy shown by June towards the Aunt who wanted forgiveness. This Aunt came forward and admitted her crimes and asked for forgiveness. No one made her. Remember the Aunts were subject to punishment for not doing their jobs too. Also remember that June just gave up the Handmaids that were in hiding, only to be killed later because of June’s actions, because of a perceived threat to her daughter, Hannah. By the way, what was that threat? Did they ever say what it was? They certainly would not have killed Hannah considering that she is a valued asset. Just seems June was unnecessarily harsh on the Aunt.
Holy Murder! Did they have to rehash Rubber Man? Not a good way to start a series.
Okay, let’s send rockets into the sky and take a look says the guy with his own private helicopter.
Another Murphy/Falchuk home run. This series has it all: laughter, crime, drama, love, tears…
The stories are believable, the characters are complete and the actors (gender neutral) are top notch. Three seasons was just enough to tell plenty of story without getting tired. However, I a going to miss it.
Why can’t they just stick to legal issues and not try and be cute? The partner’s BF trying to have sex with her while she’s on the phone during a crisis. The investigator has a ghost who watches him sleep. A rogue courtroom where witnesses wear a bee costume so the fake jury can’t tell their economic status. And that was just this episode.
I don’t understand electricity. Anyone care to explain if this episode is meaningful or not?
What an excellent film. It has a love story. A survivor’s story. A touch of the paranormal. The ending will shock you. Diana Scarwid is phenomenal as always. Believe me. It’s worth your time.
I hope so but you know what Ru’s like. Karen seems to be floundering now which is a shame cos i like her too
I like Karen too, but she’s a one-trick pony which has painted her into a corner. Scarlet is so versatile. Everyone is still wondering why Art Simone was brought back with no explanation or competition.
It’s nothing more than publicity disguised as a documentary. This is woman is so self-centered.
Excellent. I’m very critical of shows. This kept my interest. Everything was tied up neatly at the end. A lot of very tense moments. 5/5
Season 2 has been boring and predictable. I’ve stuck it out this long but can’t take anymore.
Twenty minutes in and I’m ready to vomit. Too much switching back and forth too soon. “Damages” was great at going back and forth but this is like being on a bad mushroom trip. Besides that, the lead girl is way out of her league. The director should have told her to tone it down. Cringe!
The music is HORRIBLE. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to finish this.
This is not a comedy. It’s not funny at all. It’s about a pathetic person, and you feel sorry for her most of the time. Sure there were some funny instances here and there, but they weren’t the main character, Valerie Cherish (Lisa Kudrow). I can see why it took HBO five years to start a second season. The first one was atrocious, and the second only a minor improvement. If you like watching trains wreck in slow motion, then I guess this is for you.
This is bad. This is very bad. Acting bad. Script bad. Direction bad. CGI really, really bad. Bad. Bad. Bad.
