I know this is not how you ignore someone. But, this is.

wow Sex and the city 20 years later I watched the first episode and it was really good I was actually surprised that i still felt like Sex and the city even without samantha she was my favorite character hope to see her in the near future !
Doubtful Samantha will ever appear. Kim Catrall does not get along with SJP irl. It’s well documented.
Just watched. It’s very different from original recipe TWD or Fear. Almost like if “Party of Five” had zombies. That being said, I will continue to watch as I like the characters, especially Hope.
Hulu has announced that they are reviving “Futurama” for 20 new episodes. Most of the original voice cast is already signed up (just Bender to go).
Very intriguing first episode with just enough “new stuff” to go along with the procedural whodunit we’re all used to. A lot funnier and clever that I had initially expected it to be.
I’m getting ready to watch rn. I read a few non “spoilery” reviews and they’ve said that it’s sort of like TWD, but with teens and less action. So I’m going into it kinda expecting something different.
I liked it but I think I’d probably have preferred a Judith spinoff (with Cailey Fleming) after original recipe TWD ends but alas, this isn’t bad at all but I can definitely see a lot of the hardcore fans not liking this.

I also kind of wish the episodes were 26-30 minutes long. I get it, there is a lot that needs to be explained and a whole ton of new characters need to be introduced but 44 minute episodes feels too long for this show.
Started watching after a friends recommendation, and have to conclude that; THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!
Within the first season (I’m a binge watcher); I’ve laughed till it hurt, cried, experienced vicarious bliss, not a single episode has failed to create feels, and further consideration after the fact.
Two thumbs up!!
No spoilers but just wait until you get to episode 4 of season 4. An amazing half hour of television.
It’s definitely aimed at an American audience with guest appearances from Andy Cohen and Lisa Rinna, amongst others. You ARE right about that!
Wait? Is this really happening? And is it really premiering September 19th?
Some muppet gave this a 1 star, if you like british crime drama this new show should hit the spot 4 stars
Excuse me but the term we use here at PW is “daft moonfruit” not “muppet”. Kermit is a living legend who wouldn’t be pleased.
But it’s a “groundbreaking immersive television experience”, Karla!
How can it be puke when it’s a groundbreaking immersive television experience? ;)
It’s “Lost” meets “Terra Nova” Which is exactly what I was promised and it delivered. It’s nothing new anymore and the execution isn’t great but oh well. I was entertained!
This is a tough watch for me, I lost my family to an airplane crash many years ago. But this handles the subject matter truthfully, from her perspective, and with what seems to me to be, great insight.
First episode was solid, quite disturbing and with a solid mystery to unfold. Curious to watch the rest as the weeks progress!
what I got out of this whole thread is “Billybigbaws” and “daft moonfruit”…both insults of which I will steal. thank you for that. carry on, cheers
I call people “daft moonfruit” 🌙 all the time now! I love it!
It also sounds delicious 😋
Because it’s the “same old” CBS, NBC, ABC FOX prime time. Nothing challenging about it, all been done before, very predictable and it’s the mainstream young people that watch this stuff, can’t make it to complicated
Young people? I don’t think anyone under 30 watches network tv anymore (there are some exceptions however) and CBS especially is a channel for the boomers.
This is a loosely based adaptation of “The Turn of the Screw” by Henry James; perfect for the season…
I think I read this was based on a couple different Henry James stories BUT MAINLY “Turn of the Screw” which was previously adapted as “The Innocents” most famously, GREAT movie with Deborah Kerr! and earlier this year as the much-maligned “The Turning”.
OMG, its here!
I’m curious to find out how many hardcore TWD fans are going to hate this show. I’m more of a casual fan of the original recipe but I thought this was a good start for me at least.
This is a biopic though. It’s not a movie about the Ricardo characters, it’s about Lucy and Desi themselves making the show (though Amazon is doing a reboot of “I Love Lucy” soon with the upcoming “All For Lucy” which has already swapped Fred and Ethel for a same sex couple but that’s another thing for another day)
Oh man. This last episode really got to me. Now, it takes a lot for a tv show to bring water to my eyes. But this one did. I binge-watched this season (something I do rarely), and I was not bored at all. Kudos to the people involved with this season. Can’t wait to see what season 2 will bring. Definitely worth a watch.
The season 1 finale was amazing. I remember watching it when it originally aired. Seasons 2 and 3 are generally seen as less good than season 1 but it’s best you see for yourself but yes, the first season finale was spectacular! 👍
I wonder if those reviews you mentioned got access to more than just the pilot episode. normally profesional reviewers get the first 3 or 4 episodes and sometimes as much as half the season to make a full judgement.
Very true Jhigh03! I can’t see this going too hardcore horror. It’s definitely starter horror and I’m ok with that.
Just watched. It’s very different from original recipe TWD or Fear. Almost like if “Party of Five” had zombies. That being said, I will continue to watch as I like the characters, especially Hope.
Also important to note. I can see a lot of hardcore TWD fans absolutely HATING this show but I would like to be proven wrong :).
