Murder in the Heartland (2017)
Skyehawk 5 points 4 years ago.

Well presented true crime episodes. You will see the crime through the eyes of the family of the victim, the perpetrators and their families, police, forensics and prosecutors. The parts that are reenactments are well done and kept to a minimum.
It certainly is worth a watch.

Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement (2016)
Skyehawk 9 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

You people need to read and think for yourselves if you are still able. It’s not about Fox News or the police, it’s about history. Read the history of Marx and Stalin and Mao and Pol Pot. This is what you have to look forward to. You are about to experience some real pain if these people take over this country. I hope you enjoy starvation and being put in “re-education camps” because that’s where you are going. Look at Venezuela. They are going through the city dumps trying to find food. There are no more cats or dogs there.

Thank you so much RoboPhone. I’ll do that and thanks for the links!

The Undoing (2020) S1 E6

You Should Have Known (the other title to this show/book) and for good reason.

The Spanish Princess (2019)

Well acted with a nice cast. I enjoyed watching it.

Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement (2016)
Skyehawk 7 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

These people aren’t a movement they are terrorists and communists. They are trying to ruin our country. Fooey on this movie and fooey on this group of evil doers.

Tucker Carlson Tonight (2016)
veritech 15 points 4 years ago.

Tucker carlson is pure trash

Skyehawk 6 points 4 years ago.

Character assault is the lowest form of debate.

Killing Eve (2018)
Skyehawk 4 points 5 years ago.

Super cast and writing for this black comedy about a hired-out psychopath and the lady who works for MI6 and wants to get her. Very much worth your time.

Hitler's Children (2011)
Skyehawk 3 points 5 years ago.

Excellent documentary. It really shows you that the sins of the father’s are visited on the children and what these children have had to do to overcome their family ties.
Really worth a watch.

Gwen (2019)
Skyehawk 3 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

If you want to be depressed, this is the one for you. There was very little dialog and I never understood what happened to Gwen’s Father. The camera work was lovely and so was some of the countryside. Enjoy if this is your ballywick.

Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement (2016)
Libertylass 9 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

You are absolutely right. The BLM leaders are admitted Marxists. Their goal is to get rid of the old system to bring about the new. The people who support BLM are going to love what’s coming! Communism killed 100 million in the 20th century. It has been a scourge on the world. The first to be lined up and shot are always the useless idiots that brought about the revolution. The violence and the rhetoric is getting ramped up, and the idiots really believe it’s about race and equality. Wonder why they don’t see that aren’t anti establishment. They have every corporation, the mass media and the vast majority of government backing and excusing their looting, burning, smashing, beating. They should be asking why? Why would their repulsive actions be excused? Because they’re doing the bidding of those in power who will greatly benefit from chaos they’re creating.

Skyehawk 3 points 3 years ago.

I give the stage to you my friend. I’m through. It’s like talking to a wall.
They want me to look up quotes for them now. What do you think a Marxist is? Trained Marxist=Communist.
I am not spouting an ideology. I don’t have anything to sell. I’m simply telling the truth.

The Killing (2011)
Skyehawk 2 points 5 years ago.

This is such a great series, I wish all the links were available to watch :(

The Killing (2011)
Skyehawk 2 points 5 years ago.

Thanks for the tip on the Danish version. Sometimes I like “reading” shows and sometimes not. I’ll wait for the mood to strike on that one. I have never seen the Fall so, that sounds like one to try.

Auschwitz Untold: In Colour (2020)
Skyehawk 2 points 4 years ago*.

It’s the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz concentration camp and they have recolored some of the official pictures from the original camp photographer. These along with the recollections of the survivors makes for a horrible yet inspiring presentation (if that makes sense). The past is prologue if we could only wake up to see it.
Give these episodes a watch. You owe it to yourself and those who have gone through this.

Sling Blade (1997)
Skyehawk 2 points 4 years ago.

Excellent film. Very moving. 4/5

The Haunting (1963)
Skyehawk 2 points 4 years ago*.

“No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality; even larks and katydids are supposed, by some, to dream. Hill House, not sane, stood by itself against its hills, holding darkness within; it had stood so for eighty years and might stand for eighty more. Within, walls continued upright, bricks met neatly, floors were firm and doors were sensibly shut; silence lay steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House, and whatever walked there walked alone.” Shirley Jackson
Best opening to a book ever and a great prologue to the movie.
There are no characters with scary makeup or super CGI, but this movie will stay with you forever.
One scene has two characters holding hands to support each other and what happens after that has
terrified me for 40 years. I can’t tell more or it would spoil it. Psychological terror at its best.

Blunder is the operative word here.

Stay Woke: The Black Lives Matter Movement (2016)
karloff 10 points 3 years ago.

wow the red menace thats the best you can do? im sure you would like it to be 1955 but it aint you trumpies use venezuela as your go to every time try to remember america had a big hand in that.

Skyehawk -1 points 3 years ago.

The Red Menace?? That’s the best you can do?? You need to get in touch with reality in a big way. The 3 leaders of BLM are avowed communists and admit it whole heartedly. A spade is a spade no matter what it’s called. What I said is the truth.

The Disappearance of Susan Cox Powell (2019)
Skyehawk 1 points 4 years ago.

That was gut wrenching. Her husband’s family are a bunch of psych cases and she and her children were caught in the middle of that storm. I did not expect the wrap up that occurred and it made me cry. Our judicial system is a mess and I believe it caused a terrible ending to this terrible set of circumstances.

Holocaust (1978)
Skyehawk 1 points 4 years ago.

I would love to watch this again. It’s the first movie I saw with Meryl Streep in it.

Britannia (2018)
Skyehawk 1 points 4 years ago.

I’m so glad there is a second season. I really enjoyed the first one.

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947)
Skyehawk 0 points 4 years ago.

This is a great movie. It should be on everyone’s watch list. Great acting and story. I love the ending.

The Witcher (2019) S1 E1
Canuckian -2 points 4 years ago*.

Ok, here we GO!! Been waiting for this for ages, SO excited right now! From all i have heard, this stays quite true to the source material (The BOOKS, not the game). Thanks to all who made this happen! and THANK YOU to those who added the links! This is practically an early Christmas present for me LOL!
Cont.- Ok, just watched the First episode and that opening scene was AMAZING! The sword fighting in this is some of the best choreography i have ever seen and VERY reminiscent of his fighting style from the game that i remember. So far, this is everything i hoped it would be, including the Political intrigue that is a major part of Geralts story. If you are a fan of The Witcher books or even just the game (like me lol) then you will NOT be disappointed!

Skyehawk 0 points 4 years ago.

Thank you for the review. I am a big fan myself. I can’t wait to watch!!

My Horror Story (2019) S1 E1
Skyehawk 1 points 4 years ago.

This program follows the standard telling of the participants stories with reenactments of the events. I like hearing about what people have gone through related to paranormal events. I have a story to tell about something that happened to me, so, believing some of them is easy.
The only thing I don’t care for is not finishing one story before moving on to the next. I’m sure it’s to have people keep watching to see the conclusions, but it breaks the stories up in a way that stops the flow.
I’d say it’s worth the watch if you’re in to this sort of thing. 3/5

Louis Theroux: Louis and the Brothel (2003)
Skyehawk 1 points 4 years ago.

Interesting, but sad documentary on legal prostitution. Many of these women are alcoholics and they are abused and neglected. They dream of a better life, but are stuck.

Infidel (2020)

It appears to be quality links now

Skyehawk 1 points 3 years ago.

The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders (1996)

I would love to watch this.

The Chosen (2017) S2 E1
Skyehawk 1 points 2 years ago.

Thank you uploader. This show is so moving and beautiful that I hope everyone will watch it. I’ve cried many times watching the episodes.

Infidel (2020)
Skyehawk 1 points 3 years ago.

Any idea when an updated version should come out?

Memory of the Camps (2014)
Skyehawk 1 points 5 years ago.

This film is extremely graphic and spares no one a view of the prisoners of these camps in their death and diseased state. It shows the measures that were used to help the survivors to regain their health and lives.
The documentary is gut wrenching so be prepared. I don’t think we as the human race have learned much.

Outlander (2014) S4 E12
The Covenant (2013)
Skyehawk 1 points 4 years ago.

This is a musical?

Outlander (2014) S4 E12
El fotógrafo de Mauthausen (2018)

This film upload has English subtitles. It was a very moving and disturbing film, but one that needs to be seen. Thank you uploader.

I Remember Mama (1948)
Skyehawk 1 points 2 years ago*.

This has always been a favorite of mine. It will remind you of happier, more family oriented times.

Bake Off: The Professionals (2018)
Skyehawk 1 points 3 years ago.

Not as good as the Great British Bakeoff. It’s hard to understand the judges. 2/5

Pearl Harbor: Into the Arizona (2016)
Skyehawk 1 points 5 years ago.

Amazing underwater archeology. The third deck was so interesting to see.

Infidel (2020)
Skyehawk 1 points 3 years ago.

Thank you uploader!

Pet Sematary (2019)
Skyehawk 0 points 5 years ago.

Poor rendition from the book. I didn’t like it much.

The Real Face of Jesus? (2010)
Skyehawk -2 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I cannot thank the uploader enough. What an amazing documentary.
Here’s the story of a man who “had the hell beat out of him”, was crowned with a cap of thorns, tortured, crucified, speared in the side and died.
This shroud is a picture of His resurrection and it gives us the data to recreate his face. I am just stunned.
It is certainly worth your time.

Ghost Nation (2019)
Skyehawk -1 points 4 years ago.

No matter what they call their show it remains boring and a waste of time. I watched the first 4 episodes to see if there’s anything worth watching, but no. It’s the same old song and dance.

Mississippi Madam: The Life of Nellie Jackson (2017)
Skyehawk 0 points 4 years ago*.

Interesting documentary, but just not almost two hours worth of interesting.

The Outsider (2020) S1 E2
Skyehawk 0 points 4 years ago*.

This is one of the best and most suspenseful shows I have seen in a long time. It’s dark and creepy. It reminds me of The Killing or True Detective season 1 for some reason.

Pet Sematary (2019)
Skyehawk -1 points 5 years ago.

Poor rendition from the book. I didn’t like it much.

A Christmas Carol (1951)
Skyehawk -1 points 4 years ago.

I think this is the best rendition of “A Christmas Carol” there is. Alistair Sim makes a formidable Ebeneezer Scrooge. I love the additions of the miners and seeing the ghosts throw their money at a woman and her child in terrible need.
Watch this one if you haven’t. It’s a wonderful Christmas movie.

Emma. (2020)
Skyehawk -1 points 4 years ago.

I will wait for a better version. This one goes in and out of focus and it’s hard to hear the audio well.
I’m sure I will really enjoy it. It’s something from Jane Austen after all.

The Song of Bernadette (1944)
Alien 5 points 4 years ago.

Beautiful film. I have seen it many times.
Jennifer Jones was a beauty and a wonderful actress.
Vincent Price was his usual dastardly and brilliant self.
Superstitions will last forever.

Skyehawk -1 points 4 years ago.

I couldn’t agree with you more. Great movie and worth a watch.

Midsommar (2019)
Film4o 3 points 4 years ago.

None. This is from the trivia- The Swedish dialogue spoken by the Hårga natives are deliberately not subtitled in order to create the sense of isolation for the audience and especially the foreign visitors.

Skyehawk -2 points 4 years ago.

Thank you for that information. I saw a review of the film recently and it had subtitles so I thought the movie would too.

The Real Face of Jesus? (2010)
Johnny2Stripes 0 points 4 years ago.

Hey i’m not arguing either and i have seen other sources, i’m just stating the position of many forensic experts and the Catholic church, what i believe doesn’t really matter.

Skyehawk -2 points 4 years ago.

I am glad you have looked at other sources and come to your opinion. I have to respect that. I didn’t think you were arguing, but when a person writes things i.e. me, you have to clarify things to be better understood.
If we were sitting down and just talking I wouldn’t have to do that. I hope that makes sense.
You know what they say, “for those who believe no explanation is necessary and for those who do not no explanation is possible.”
I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for sharing your ideas about this with me.
