Thankyou! Pity that there is only a link to part one. I will watch!
Very enjoyable! Directed by and starring Michael Keaton. He @ 72 and Al Pacino @ 83, still going strong… A bit of Pacino trivia > He is one of the oldest fathers on record. He has never been married…

Intriguing perspective on the caste system, an additional insight into the ongoing face of empire and imperialism…
Enjoying this Japanese perspective of the excellent Clavell novel (which he based on the historic Tokugawa Ieyasu). While watching I’m constantly trying to recognize familiar locations. The majority of filming took place in Port Moody and Ucluelet, British Columbia… :}
An interesting mini doc about this series may be of interest…

John Malkovich has a ‘hat tipping’ cameo role ~ And Sting’s daughter, Eliot, plays an interesting version of the Freddie Miles character. The most recent documentary about Highsmith > is a must see, imho…

At 72, the Dude abides… I’d watch this just for Jeff, and I’ve enjoyed it so far. The Rotties are 😎, too. Jeff has stayed married to his - one and only, wife. I like that. He’s in remission from lymphoma, I hope he stays healthy for many more years to come… 😊
Wow. So now you have me wondering. If he’d have run, there’s a good chance he could’ve won. Consider the competition he’d have been up against over the years. He could’ve even made the Independent ticket viable and done what Perot or Nader couldn’t. But, think about this: Alternate timeline, 11 September 2001, the unthinkable happens. How does President Carlin respond? How would the world be a different place today? Crazy to think about, isn’t it?
I don’t think it’s crazy, at all, to think about. But you might think that I’m crazy, because (going along with your alt timeline) I think the world would have ALREADY changed BECAUSE Carlin had become Prez. And in that timeline, 911 would never have happened. Right? grins

🍀MAY he still be resting in peace, and not rolling in his grave🍀
“I call it the freak show…
-When you’re born into this world, you’re given a ticket to the freak show.
-When you’re born in America, you’re given a front row seat”.
~ George Carlin
A superb and comprehensive bio/doc of the late great planet George.
I always thought he should have run for prez, after so many previous presidents that were bad jokes, why not give the job to a real comedian, with great jokes… 😃
This is gonna be a great show, i can feel it.
I feel you feeling it, and I’m feeling it with you. Also, it stars Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke!
This series is really creeping me out, like all the ‘catch-phrase’ news that Reuters
sends out to all the global news and media outlets. Rolling out the script and
programming. Flatten that curve! It’s a brave new world…
Keaton was great in this top notch series! The Sackler family should be stripped of all their wealth, and be imprisoned for life… (I would say hang them all, but we don’t solve problems like that anymore, which is too bad).
I am originally from Tasmania - and remember that happening.
Ah yes, Martin Bryant… This looks intriguing, and I also love Judy Davis.
Very interesting. It’s a bit like what they are showing on the daily news too.
Yes, it’s also a bit like what’s actually happening in my city neighborhood.
This film (uncut) is 5 hours and 17 minutes long, in 2 parts. All of the links here are only for Part 1.
This looks creepy good, will binge this later today…
Thank you uploaders and link providers!
This is an excellent mini series. Very intense.
I think i’ll also check out the original 70’s Bergman version.
Just watched the trailer…McAwoy didn’t get a script when he was acting in this film? Hm…interesting. Anyone seen it?
Yes I watched it, apparently McAvoy improvised his script. I thought the film was pretty damn good…
This film will be the movie high of my year. I know it will be good and i’ll watch whatever crap cam we get first, because I can’t wait. The books are fantastic, I re-read them every few years. Top notch scifi! Frank Herbert was the best…
One big corporate trailer promoting coachella 2022…

John Pilger, one of the greatest investigative journalists and documentarians. Thank you uploaders/linkers!
‘Mystic River’ and ‘At Close Range’ are my fave Penn flicks. ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘The Professor and the Madman’ are also pretty good.
Kate is great (of course), watching her and Guy in ‘’Mare of Easttown’ brought me here. This is also directed by Todd Haynes, it’s a keeper! Just need some better host links.
Ewan was quite funny as Halston, which made this watchable. The 2019 documentary, on Halston, isn’t bad either.
Just waiting for Netflix (or?) to do a mini series on Warhol. Other than documentary, don’t think Warhol has this honour yet.
Streamtape link includes LBJ EP 3 We Shall Overcome, and LBJ EP 4 The Last Believer
Streamtape link includes LBJ EP 1 Beautiful Texas, and LBJ EP 2 My Fellow Americans
🤣 Thanks lol I was at work, rushing, scrolling down and hit the wrong 1!
Haha, maybe this is where you meant to wait…

‘Women Make Film’ at Wikipedia, has the complete list of films covered in this documentary.
A nice little peek into how Hauer thinks of himself and his career.
He had the most beautiful smile. He was gorgeous right until the end.
I know it seems stupid, like being a groupie, but I really miss him being in the world. 75 is too soon. He seemed true to himself, and relaxed. Gorgeous in every way.
His book is really interesting. ‘All Those Moments: Stories of Heroes, Villains, Replicants, and Blade Runners’, and is free to dl from Library Genesis, if you fancy epub - ebooks.
Beautiful ~ Tyger Tyger ~ Still burning bright…
