This is the second of two films that are the same story line. The first film details the early life of the titular character, Jim Maclaine, and follows his lifes ups and downs from leaving school to his dramatic fall from grace. Quite poignant, but a hell of a good watch if you enjoyed the UK music scene in the 60’s and 70’s.
Why is Burnham only allowed to talk in a angst ridden whisper? It totally sells out the need for a Star Fleet officer to be decisive, self confident, and in command. Now pass the tissues so I can join in the feminine overkill. Just to add now thw episode is done, we now have the most irritating scatty, hair brained, dipsy, self doubting first officer ever! Spock must be turning in his resting place.
You’re welcome mate, glad you enjoyed it !
Indeed, Jim Broadbent has been doing amazing work going back to the early Only fools and Horses classics. Dame Helen is a national institution of Britishness…All in all, Teriffic!
