I was under the impression that this was an alternate history that’s a blend of the 40’s 50’s and 60’s? DC Comics is kinda known for blending eras and creating alternate histories.

Aleister Crowley looks good for a man who died in 1947, whilst this is set in the mid 60’s.

The original series was one of my Father’s favourites, so I grew up with it too. I’m really enjoying the prequel story. It says it is a ‘limited series’. It would be a shame if we don’t see the younger P M again; possibly further along in his career.
